The Chicago "L" (short for "elevated") is the rapid transit system serving the city of Chicago and some of its surrounding suburbs in the U.S. state of Illinois. It is operated by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). It is the fourth largest rapid transit system in the United States in terms of total route length (at 102.8 miles (165.4 km) long), and the third busiest rail mass transit system in the United States after the New York City Subway and Washington Metro.
Chicago's "L" provides 24-hour service on some portions of its network, being one of only four rapid transit systems in the United States (the Chicago "L", the New York City Subway, PATH, and Philadelphia's PATCO Speedline) to do so. However, Chicago and New York City are the only cities in the US to offer 24 hour subway/elevated train service throughout their respective city limits every day (PATCO does not service throughout the city limits of Philadelphia). The oldest sections of the Chicago "L" started operations in 1892, making it the third-oldest rapid transit system in the Americas, after Boston's "T" and the elevated lines in New York City.

Andorra (i/ænˈdɔːrə/; Catalan: [ənˈdorə], locally: [anˈdɔra]), officially the Principality of Andorra (Catalan: Principat d'Andorra), also called the Principality of the Valleys of Andorra (Catalan: Principat de les Valls d'Andorra), is a sovereign landlocked microstate in Southwestern Europe, located in the eastern Pyrenees mountains and bordered by Spain and France. Created under a charter in A.D. 988, the present Principality was formed in A.D. 1278. It is known as a principality as it is a monarchy headed by two Co-Princes – the Spanish/Roman Catholic Bishop of Urgell and the President of France.
Andorra is the sixth-smallest nation in Europe, having an area of 468 km2 (181 sq mi) and a population of approximately 85,000. Its capital Andorra la Vella is the highest capital city in Europe, at an elevation of 1,023 metres (3,356 ft) above sea level. The official language is Catalan, although Spanish, Portuguese, and French are also commonly spoken.
Andorra la Vella (Catalan pronunciation: [ənˈdorə ɫə ˈβeʎə], locally: [anˈdɔra la ˈβeʎa]) is the capital of the Principality of Andorra, and is located high in the east Pyrenees between France and Spain. It is also the name of the parish that surrounds the capital.
As of 2011, the city has a population of 22,256, and the urban area, which includes Escaldes-Engordany plus satellite villages, has over 40,000 inhabitants.
The principal industry is tourism, although the country also earns foreign income from being a tax haven. Furniture and brandies are local products. Being at an elevation of 1,023 metres (3,356 ft), it is the highest capital city in Europe and a popular ski resort.
The site of Andorra la Vella (literally "Andorra the Old" in Catalan) has been settled since prior to the Christian era—notably by the Andosin tribe from the late Neolithic. The state is one of the Marca Hispanica created and protected by Charlemagne in the eighth century as a buffer from the Moorish settlers in the Iberian Peninsula.

Andorra Travel Video Guide People may tell you Andorra's nothing but skiing and shopping. They might add that Andorra la Vella, its capital and only town, is a fuming traffic jam bordered by palaces of consumerism. (Fact: Andorra has over 2000 shops -- more than one for every 40 inhabitants). They're right to a point, but also way off course. Shake yourself from Andorra la Vella's tawdry embrace, take one of only three secondary roads in the state and discover some of the most dramatic scenery in all of the Pyrenees. Andorra Travel Video Guide wedged between France and Spain offers by far the best skiing in the Pyrenees, like in Canillo & Soldeu or Arinsal & Pal. In the last five years, its resorts have invested over €50 million in mountain cafés and restaurants, chairlifts and gondolas,...

http://davidsbeenhere.com David's Been Here is traveling Spain's Costa Brava region in search of the area's top attractions and best day trips. In this short video, David and crew head for the medieval town of Peratallada. Meaning "carved stone", this Spanish coastal destination is comprised of beautiful stone buildings, picturesque passageways and some excellent restaurants. The first documentation of this historic town dates back to 1065, though evidence of both Roman and Visigoth settlers suggest that the town dates back even further. If you're looking for a great spot to explore, have lunch (try Restaurant Can Nau) or take some amazing pictures, this medieval destination is a perfect place to stop.
Day Trip to Badalona, Spain http://davidsbeenhere.com/ David takes us on another adventure in the Spanish region of Catalunya (Catalonia) to the beachside town of Badalona. Just a metro ride away from Barcelona, Badalona offers a charming respite front the hustle and bustle of city life. In this episode David takes us around town to show us what to do on a day trip to Badalona. Hint: it involves two of David’s favorite things: history and food! First stop is are the Roman ruins that Badalona is known for. In ancient times, Badalona was known as “Baetulo" and Barcelona was known as “Barcino.” Both were large seaports with an extensive network of roads, residential quarters, and public buildings. The ruins of ancient Baetulo are housed within the Badalona Museum, located in the center of t...

Let's say you're in Chicago and you're rattling along on the El
And the one who rides beside you is a stranger to herself
Nobody knows her own heart
You might have been introduced but you drifted apart
You're a long way from where you belong unaware
Let's say you're in Chicago and you're making out under the El
You're trapped in you're head humming a tune to yourself
There's a trapdoor in your heart
There's a false bottom line and it's falling apart
You're a long way from where you belong unaware
We were on pins and needles
You were gearing up to cry
I was the instigator you were the reason why
You're a long way from where you belong unaware
Let's say you're in Chicago and you're breaking up all over the El
You were so in love but you were only in love with yourself
Nobody knows her own heart
Things were coming together now they're falling apart
You're a long way from where you belong unaware
