Newly released security footage shows Michael Zehaf-Bibeau’s arrival after he opened fire on guards at Ottawa’s war memorial. He parked his brown Toyota Corolla in front of the East Block entrance on Wellington Street before he ran onto the parliament grounds.
Bystanders scattered at the sight of Bibeau and his weapon, which is believed to have been a 30-30 lever action rifle.
The suspect then ran to one of the minister’s vehicles that was occupied by a driver. Bibeau then demanded at gunpoint for the driver to exit the vehicle to which the driver complied. The suspect then drove towards Center Block in the minister’s vehicle.
Security personnel were aware of the suspicious activity and were in close pursuit of the shooter as Bilbeau arrived at the entrance of the parliament building. He ditched the the vehicle and made his way inside the building on foot.
Bilbeau exchanged fire with officers and was fatally wounded by Canadian Parliament’s Sergeant-at-Arms, Kevin Vickers.
The suspect was said to have converted to Islam about 10 years ago but had recently shifted to a more radical approach to the religion. Bilbeau arrived in Ottawa on Oct. 2 to sort out an issue with his passport. It’s believed the 32-year-old shooter had intentions of traveling to Syria.

Ottawa is the capital of Canada, and the fourth largest city in the country. Ottawa is situated on the south bank of the Ottawa River, and contains the mouths of the Rideau River and Rideau Canal. The older part of the city (including what remains of Bytown) is known as Lower Town, and occupies an area between the canal and the rivers.
The most important places to visit in Ottawa are: Parliament building (undoubtedly among the most beautiful parliament buildings in the world. It should be a must see for all visitors to Ottawa), Chateau Laurier (now part of a hotel. This famous Ottawa landmark retains much of its grandeur, inside you'll find luxurious settings and ornate decor), Supreme Court of Canada (take a tour of this important building. You can even attend the hearings here), Notre Dame Basilica (constructed in the 19th century this beautiful church is among the surviving churches of Ottawa), Rideau Canal (it's a UNESCO world heritage site. The canals offers excellent views of the city. In winter time, it's transformed into a massive skating rink) and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Ottawa travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

Welcome to Ottawa, Ontario, where you’ll find charming old-world buildings surrounded by picturesque natural beauty.
The first stop on an Ottawa tour should be the Rideau Canal. This waterway cuts the city in half, and it provides places for boating and paddleboarding during the summer. Visiting in winter? Not a problem—you can go ice skating along the Rideau when it ices over. On the south side of the river, you can see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at Parliament Hill. A few blocks to the north is the National Gallery of Canada, a stunning glass-and-granite building full of art from Canadian, European, and other North American artists.
You’ll be hungry after all this walking around, so head to ByWard Market. If you see beavertails, don’t worry; they’re a pastry, not part of an actual beaver—and they’re delicious. ByWard Market also has some of the best fresh produce you’ll ever taste, so stock up on fruits and vegetables while you’re there.
After sampling the fare at ByWard Market, cross the river to visit the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec. This is where you can tour recreations of Old Canada: explore 1800s storefronts, wander into log cabins, and learn about the First Nations people who inhabited Canada for thousands of years prior to European settlement.
Round out your trip with a venture to Gatineau Park, where you can relax by the lake or take tea in the MacKenzie King estate.

Canada Travel Video Documentary | Visitting Canada | Travel Guide and Tips
Canada Listeni/ˈkænədə/ is a country in North America consisting of ten provinces and three territories. Located in the northern part of the continent, it extends from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean. At 9.98 million square kilometres in total, Canada is the world's second-largest country by total area and the fourth-largest country by land area. Its common border with the United States forms the world's longest land border.
The land that is now Canada has been inhabited for millennia by various Aboriginal peoples. Beginning in the late 15th century, British and French colonies were established on the region's Atlantic coast. As a consequence of various conflicts, the United Kingdom gained and lost North American territories until left, in the late 18th century, with what mostly comprises Canada today. Pursuant to the British North America Act, on July 1, 1867 three colonies joined to form the autonomous federal dominion of Canada. This began an accretion of provinces and territories to the new self-governing dominion. In 1931, Britain granted Canada full independence in most matters with the Statute of Westminster 1931. The Canada Act 1982 severed the vestiges of legal dependence on the British parliament.
Canada is a federal parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state. Canada is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. The country is officially bilingual at the federal level. It is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, the product of large-scale immigration from many countries, with a population of approximately 35 million as of December 2012. Travel video about destination Canada.
The journey starts in Halifax and stretches right across Canada, from east to west and from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Halifax is situated in a deep, well-defined bay on the Atlantic coastline and has one of the most beautiful natural harbours in the world.Ville De Quebec is the capital of the likewise-named province of Canada. In this European-orientated city on the St. Laurence river, French is the main language. In 1608, Samuel De Champlain established it as a centre for the fur trade. The massive and world famous Chateau Frontenac is the city’s best known landmark. In Montreal, Canada’s second largest city, the massive Basilica, the Oratoire Saint-Joseph, is an important pilgrimage destination and in the charming French-style area of the city which is located between the harbour and the modern banking quarter, numerous old buildings have been restored. Although Montreal is located 1600 kilometres from the open sea, it owes its wealth to its waterways which stretch from the country’s interior, to the ocean. In Native American, Toronto means, ‘Meeting Place’ an accurate description for the capital of Ontario Province and Canada’s largest city, a multi-cultural city with giant skyscrapers and noisy streets. The CN Tower is the tallest free-standing building in the world and in less than a minute its lift ascends 335 metres to the top. Niagara Falls lies between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario on the Canadian-American border. A trip on the ‘Maid Of The Mist’ is a magnificent experience where the tremendous power of the water is awesome. Three times a week, the Canadian, with its 30 wagons, 2 locomotives and total length of more than a kilometre, winds its way through the Rocky Mountains the water from which accumulates from mountain glaciers and flows into three oceans: the Atlantic, the Pacific and the Arctic. The capital of the south west province of British Columbia, Vancouver, is located beside the Pacific Ocean and is the third largest city in Canada and one of the most beautiful on the North American continent. A fitting final destination for a tour of Canada’s wonderworld of magnificent contrasts.

Travel video about destination London in England.
London is an exciting and pulsating metropolis of the new millennium, a melting pot of both people and culture and a fascinating city of diverse contrasts.
The City Of London contains the Tower, an historic landmark with a remarkable history. A mighty medieval fortress with 13 towers that throughout its 900 years, has served many functions and from the Middle Ages, it was a heavily fortified prison.
After the medieval St. Paul's Cathedral was destroyed by a devastating fire in 1666, Christopher Wren was ordered to re-build it with a dome. During the 36 years of its construction, its design was frequently altered until finally a wonderful masterpiece of church architecture was created.
The Monument is the city's tallest freestanding stone column and a reminder of the Great Fire of London that destroyed 80 percent of the city. In four days, more than 13,000 buildings were destroyed and the Monument was built on the site of the bakery in which the fire began.
Since the reign of Queen Victoria, Buckingham Palace has served as London's royal residence. A garden of mulberry trees once grew on the site of today's palace and the Duke of Buckingham subsequently added a simple brick built residence. Around 60 years later, George II purchased the site for his wife and George IV eventually began to design an extensive palace complex.
The highlight of any holiday in London must be the largest Ferris wheel in the world, the London Eye. Situated on the banks of the Thames, it rises high into the sky, opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
The former centre of the largest empire in the world, London is still a city of superlatives that attracts millions of visitors each year. Exciting both day and night, London is a modern city with age old traditions and a long and colorful history.

The island, 10,990 square kilometres (4,240 sq mi) in area, lies about 145 kilometres (90 mi) south of Cuba, and 191 kilometres (119 mi) west of Hispaniola, the island containing the nation-states of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Once a Spanish possession known as Santiago, in 1655 it came under the rule of England (later Great Britain), and was called Jamaica. Ireland, the Emerald Island. The hills, covered with lush, emerald green grass are full of mystical stone buildings from prehistoric times, Celtic monuments and medieval forts and monasteries. The island is the home of legends, music, poetry and dance. The capital of the Republic of Ireland, Dublin, has many sights worth take a look, for example the Trinity College, Christchurch and the St. Patrick Cathedral, the Parliament, and the National Gallery. The Georgian houses in the vicinity of Merrion Square, with their colorful doors and bronze knockers are the nicest in the city. One cannot skip the Jameson whiskey factory, the Guinness Brewery, and the pubs of the Temple Bar district, where live music is played every evening. Dublin is the city of G. B. Shaw, Oscar Wilde, Yeats, Swift and James Joyce, and the famous Irish dance also originates from here. The countryside has many beautiful castles, parks and charming medieval villages, while nature comforts the visitor with such beauties as the Powerscourt waterfall, the ‘glen of the two lakes’, the limestone plateau of Burren or the Cliffs of Moher.

When you arrive in Quebec, you’ll immediately notice its unique combination of old-world architecture, French elegance, and North American friendliness. Throw in a penchant for winter sports and a rich historical past, and you’ll have plenty to do in its capital, Quebec City.
The walled Upper Town is on the to-see list of most Quebec tours. This is part of the historic Old Quebec, first settled by Europeans in 1608. You’ll find a fantastic view of the St. Lawrence River, along with winding streets filled with historic buildings housing restaurants, pubs, and small shops.
Venture out into the oldest retail center on the continent and enjoy a croissant and a coffee, then go for a bike ride along the Old Port. This used to be one of the world’s largest shipping thoroughfares, though now it’s known primarily as a cruise ship destination.
If you’re in the mood to meet some of the local wildlife, head to the Quebec Aquarium, where you can see polar bears, seals, and other animals that inhabit the Arctic. Feeling like reaching great heights? Stop by Montmorency Falls, where you can hike up to an observation point and marvel at the beauty of the natural landscape.
All this walking and hiking will make you hungry, so at dusk, visit Rue St. Paul’s many restaurants to pick out the perfect place for dinner. The city is buzzing late into the night; if you’re up for dancing, a drink, or a cup of coffee after dinner, you’ll be in good company.

Located in the very center of Dublin is St. Stephen’s Green, an emerald square chock-full of local history.
In its earliest years, the area that became St. Stephen’s Green was a marsh used by residents of Dublin as a common grazing area. It was walled off in 1664 and had several houses built around it as a sort of central square. This continued for nearly a century, effectively turning St. Stephen’s Green into a park for an early planned community. At this point, since only the very wealthy could afford to live in the houses around the green, to tour St. Stephen’s Green became the privilege of the upper classes.
An act of Parliament opened the park to the public in the late 1800s, and it’s been a popular downtown destination ever since. Since it is adjacent to Grafton Street—one of Dublin’s biggest shopping areas—St. Stephen’s Green is a popular place among locals who stop by to relax after a long day of wandering in and out of shops. You can also do a little sightseeing in St. Stephen’s Green itself. The park is full of sculptures and memorials, and you can easily spend several hours wandering its trails, listening to the chirps of birds and the wind rustling through the green leaves above. St. Stephen’s Green is also home to a lake, an artificial waterfall, and countless types of flora and fauna.

The Travel in Ottawa's Parliament Hill,Canada
Parliament Hill (French: Colline du Parlement), colloquially known as The Hill, is an area of Crown land on the southern banks of the Ottawa River in Downtown Ottawa, Ontario. Its Gothic revival suite of buildings serves as the home of the Parliament of Canada and contains a number of architectural elements of national symbolic importance. Parliament Hill attracts approximately 3 million visitors each year.[1]
Originally the site of a military base in the 18th and early 19th centuries, development of the area into a governmental precinct began in 1859, after Queen Victoria chose Bytown as the capital of the Province of Canada. Following a number of extensions to the parliament and departmental buildings and a fire in 1916 that destroyed the Centre Block, Parliament Hill took on its present form with the completion of the Peace Tower in 1927. Since 2002, an extensive $1 billion renovation and rehabilitation project has been underway throughout all of the precinct's buildings; work is not expected to be complete until after 2020.
