Hira (Arabic: حراء Ḥirāʾ) or the Cave of Hira (غار حراء Ġār Ḥirāʾ) is a cave about 2 mi (3.2 km) from Mecca, on the mountain named Jabal Al-Nūr in the Hejaz region of present day Saudi Arabia. The cave itself is about 12 ft (3.7 m) in length and 5 ft 3 in (1.60 m) in width.
It is notable for being the location where Muslims believe Muhammad received his first revelations from God (Allah) through the angel Jibreel, also known as the angel Gabriel to Christians.
Taking 600 steps to reach, the cave is at a height of 270 m (890 ft) and the radius is 263.23 m (863.6 ft) During the Hajj around 5,000 Muslims climb up to the Hira cave daily to see the place where Muhammed received the first revelation of the Qu'ran on the Night of Power.

Plot
A poor mill worker, Dhanraj, finds out that his sister, Pushpa, is pregnant, and that the man responsible for this is his boss, Hira. He goes there to get him to marry her, only to be told to get his sister an abortion. Unable to bear this shame, she kills herself, and Dhanraj swears to avenge her death. Hira fires Dhanraj, leaving him, his wife, two sons and a daughter destitute and on the verge of starvation. Deciding to kill himself and his family, he takes them on an outing at Chowpatty, and there he mixes poison in some snacks and takes them to his family. On the way, a small boy steals the food. Dhanraj catches up to this boy, and takes the food away from him, and disposes it off. He finds that this small boy has a winning lottery ticket. He rejoices, tells this good news to his family, and adopts the boy, who is now his goodluck charm. Thereafter they live a very comfortable life. Years later, all of Dhanraj's children, Renu, Vishwas, and Kishan have grown up alongwith the boy, Amar, who is now a police inspector. Renu and Vishwas are married, and Amar and Kishan will soon be married too. Kishan gets married to Hira's daughter, and Amar marries a petty thief, Geeta. Things don't go quite well in this household, as money is being embezzled; and then Vishwas' wife blames Amar of sexually molesting her, forcing Amar and Geeta to leave the house. Dhanraj has always considered Amar a goodluck charm for this house, feels vulnerable and open to attacks. And his perceptiveness gives fruit when Vishwas and his wife decide to leave this house and live separately, and it is on the very same day that Dhanraj is arrested for marketing suprious drugs, and the arresting officer is none other than Inspector Amar.
Plot
Tabrez Khan is an orphan who lives with the Diwakar family, which consists of Police Inspector Raj; his journalist wife, Shobha; their son, Chintoo, and Raj's brother, Devdutt. Raj is killed and the Police are unable to apprehend his killers. Thereafter Devdutt joins the Police Force, does his work honestly and diligently and angers Bhawani Chaudhari, his senior officers, as well as differences arise between him and Tabrez, with the later leaving home to join the Police Academy. Months later Tabrez returns home as a Sub-Inspector - but nothing is the same anymore - Shobha is missing, Chintoo is dead, and Devdutt has been suspended, has taken to crime, and is wanted by the Police.
Plot
In this humorous paean to the joys of food, the main story is about trucker Goro, who rides into town like a modern Shane to help Tampopo set up the perfect noodle soup restaurant. Woven into this main story are a number of smaller stories about the importance of food, ranging from a gangster who mixes hot sex with food, to an old woman who terrorizes a shopkeeper by compulsively squeezing his wares.

Plot
Kashi travels by an ill-fated plane, which crashes on the outskirts of an isolated city that is ruled by women, who worship Sanga, their God. Kashi is rescued by pretty Soni and taken to her home, where she lives with her widowed dad, and brother, Hira. Since the roads are blocked, Kashi is unable to return home, and in order to continue to stay here, he must first obtain permission from the Raj Rani, the ultimate ruler. He meets with her and she finds him attractive and charming, and invites him to stay with her at her palace and sing for him, which he does. Kashi and Soni have given their hearts to each other, they meet secretly, with Soni disguised as a man, Shibu. Watch what happens when Raj Rani finds out that a Kashi is ignoring her love for a mere peasant.
Plot
Living a poor lifestyle with his widowed mother, Shankar sells toys for a living, but is addicted to alcohol. He is attracted to Parvati, who also lives a poor lifestyle along with her step-brother, Jagat Narayan, his wife, and their daughter, Pushpa. After an argument with his mother, Shankar departs to the city, gives up drinking, earns a lot of money, and returns home just to time to pay off his mortgage. But his world will soon be shattered after he goes to ask for the hand of a now wealthy Parvati. This is where he will be forced to face his past, and ultimately be told that Parvati's marriage has been arranged elsewhere. Unable to live without Parvati, he takes up drinking again and heads on to a path of self-destruction.
