More information about the video content bellow:
1. Dagestan is a federal subject (a republic) of Russia, located in the North Caucasus region. Dagestan encompasses a large section of the eastern Caucasus mountains and 250 miles of Caspian Sea coastline. Dagestan mean the "Mountain Kingdom." Dagestan is the largest republic in the northern Caucasus.
2. In the first few centuries AD, Caucasian
Albania (corresponding to modern
Azerbaijan and southern Dagestan) became a vassal and eventually subordinate to the Parthian Empire. In later antiquity, it was a few times fought over by the Roman Empire and the Sassanid Persians as the former sought to contest the latter's rule over the region, without success. Over the centuries, to a relatively large extent, the peoples within the Dagestan territory converted to Christianity alongside Zoroastrianism.
3. With a population of 2,910,249, Dagestan is very ethnically diverse and Russia's most heterogeneous republic, with the largest ethnicity constituting less than 30% of the population. It is sometimes known as the Mountain of Languages, or Mountain of Nationalities - with some national groups occupying no more than one or two villages. Its tremendous ethnic diversity is attributed the combination of isolated valleys and its location at the crossroads between cultures in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
4. The capital, Makhachkala, on Russia’s Caspian Sea coast, was conquered by the Russian Imperial army in the 19th century and served as a major pre-revolutionary trading port. Today, Dagestan is a conduit for major oil and gas pipelines, which go from the Caspian Sea to the Russian heartland.
5. Derbent is a city in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia, located on the Caspian Sea, north of the Azerbaijani border. It is the southernmost city in Russia, and it is the second-most important city of Dagestan. Derbent occupies the narrow gateway between the Caspian Sea and the Caucasus Mountains connecting the Eurasian steppes to the north and the Iranian Plateau to the south. Derbent claims to be the oldest city in Russia with historical documentation dating to the 8th century BCE.
6. Dagestan was incorporated into the Soviet Union in 1921 after the end of Russia Civil War. During 1920-22 most of the Dagestani people joined the Chechens in a widespread revolt against Soviet power; some of the secret Islamic orders that led the revolt continued to practice terrorism through the Soviet period. Many of Dagestan’s people were deported to Siberia and Central Asia in World War II. The deportation was particularly unfair because most of the deported people had no contact with the Germans.
7. Since 2000, Dagestan has been the venue of a low-level guerrilla war, bleeding over from Chechnya; the fighting has claimed the lives of hundreds of federal servicemen and officials—mostly members of local police forces—as well as many Dagestani national rebels and civilians.

Get to know one of the most unusual, distinctive regions of Russia, a place that is not known to every avid traveler - the Republic of Dagestan. This is a picturesque land where people, like hundred years ago, live in small high-mountainous settlements overlooking grandiose gorges and canyons, honor their traditions, glorify Allah in ancient and modern Juma mosques, graze obedient flocks of sheep, admire nature and unity with it. And the invariable masters of the sky - the eagles circle over the tops of the mountains.
Enjoy an unforgettable tour across “Russian Switzerland” from the best angles. The video contains all the most interesting sights: the capital of Dagestan - Makhachkala on the shores of the Caspian Sea, the ancient city Derbent with the fortress Naryn-Kala, the mountain settlements Gunib and Chokh, the fabulous winding Sulak canyon and the Chirkei hydroelectric station, the Irganai reservoir. The mystical Salta waterfall Tobot, which waters invariably rush off the cliff into a bottomless gorge. The huge sand dune Sary-Kum, a unique natural monument, the largest in Eurasia and the second after the Great Erg in the Sahara Desert. The abandoned city Gamsutl, it is called the Russian Machu Picchu. The famous "city of the dead" Dargavs in the Republic of North Ossetia, and much, much more.
Most of these sites are (or could have been) included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Feel the spirit of the Caucasus and our love for these fantastically beautiful places.

Writing Vlog: How to Write a Story (Authortube Reading Vlog: Preptober + Booktube Newbie Tag)
This video is a writing vlog and a reading vlog about the art of writing - something I used to lecturer my undergraduate students about at Johns Hopkins University when hyping them up for some good preptober workload; and as always, I'll close it out with two all-encompassing and reliable terms: booktube newbie tag and nanowrimo 2021! Wow!
How to tell a story in 2 minutes is a valuable life skill that we can all benefit from. To tell a story in 2 minutes, you need to go fast; don't think, don't look back, because you're fighting what is arguably the most famous losing battle of all time. You're trying to capture and hold the attention of another human being in the name of what is more than likely a self-benefiting end.

Azerbaijan (UK: /ˌæzərbaɪˈdʒɑːn, -ˈdʒæn/ (listen), US: /ˌɑːzərbaɪˈdʒɑːn, ˌæz-/;[9] Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan [ɑːzæɾbɑjˈdʒɑn]), officially the Republic of Azerbaijan,[b] is a transcontinental country located at the boundary of Eastern Europe and Western Asia.[10] It is a part of the South Caucasus region, and is bounded by the Caspian Sea to the east, Russia (Republic of Dagestan) to the north, Georgia to the northwest, Armenia and Turkey to the west, and Iran to the south. Baku is the capital and largest city.
The Azerbaijan Democratic Republic proclaimed its independence from the Transcaucasian Democratic Federative Republic in 1918 and became the first secular democratic Muslim-majority state. In 1920, the country was incorporated into the Soviet Union as the Azerbaijan SSR.[11][12] The modern Republic of Azerbaijan proclaimed its independence on 30 August 1991,[13][14] shortly before the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the same year. In September 1991, the ethnic Armenian majority of the Nagorno-Karabakh region formed the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh.[15] The region and seven surrounding districts are internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan pending a solution to the status of the Nagorno-Karabakh through negotiations facilitated by the OSCE, became de facto independent with the end of the First Nagorno-Karabakh War in 1994.[16][17][18][19] Following the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, the seven districts and parts of Nagorno-Karabakh were returned to Azerbaijani control.[20]
Azerbaijan is a unitary semi-presidential republic.[4] It is one of six independent Turkic states and an active member of the Organization of Turkic States and the TÜRKSOY community. Azerbaijan has diplomatic relations with 182 countries and holds membership in 38 international organizations,[21] including the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the Non-Aligned Movement, the OSCE, and the NATO PfP program. It is one of the founding members of GUAM, the CIS,[22] and the OPCW. Azerbaijan is also an observer state of the WTO.
The vast majority of the country's population (97%) is nominally[3] Muslim,[23] but the constitution does not declare an official religion and all major political forces in the country are secularist. Azerbaijan is a developing country and ranks 88th on the Human Development Index. It has a high rate of economic development,[24] literacy,[25] and a low rate of unemployment.[26] However, the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, in power since 1993, has been accused of authoritarian leadership and the deterioration of the country's human rights record, including increasing restrictions on civil liberties, particularly on press freedom and political repression.[27]

To tell a story in 2 minutes, you need to go fast; don't think, don't look back, because you're fighting what is arguably the most famous losing battle of all time. You're trying to capture and hold the attention of another human being in the name of what is more than likely a self-benefiting end.
This video is a combination of classical art, storytelling, and a dash of something educational, or something.
Thank you for giving some of your time and attention to our channel.

The author of the AK-47 assault rifle, Mikhail Kalashnikov, wrote a letter to Patriarch Kirill a year and a half before his death, expressing regret over the creation of the world's most famous firearm. The Moscow Patriarchate told the BBC they had already written a reply to the Kalashnikov. The letter was published in the Izvestia newspaper. According to journalists, the letter was delivered by a person close to the designer. The letter was typed on a computer and signed by Mikhail Kalashnikov. According to Denis Telmanov, a correspondent for the Izvestia newspaper, the letter may have been written in the language of a priest who visited the Kalashnikov. In the letter, Kalashnikov described himself as an Orthodox Christian, described the AK-47 as a strange weapon, and said that Americans during the Cold War were friends of Soviet citizens. Kalashnikov has said several times in his ian. I have a share in this… Even if the dead are my enemies… stay? " Kalashnikov writes about how he became a believer with s, and how he resisted the museum to be built in his honor and agreed to rebuild the Church of St. Michael in Izhevsk, which was destroyed in the 1930s. Pride of the Soviets The Kalashnikov assault rifle was created in 1947 and is one popular inventions of the twentieth century. The machine gun has become the most widely used weapon in the world and is now used by the armed forces of more than 100 countries. n the battlefields of
Angola, Vietnam,
Algeria and Afghanistan. Palestinian groups also use Kalashnikov assault rifles, which were also used by Osama bin Laden. The weapon is relatively simple, inexpensive, and reliable and easy to use on the battlefield. Mikhail Kalashnikov was born on November 10, 1919, in the village of Kurya in the Altai Krai. He was one of 18 children in the family. Only six of the children survived. The Kalashnikov was drafted into the Red Army in 1938, and his creativity was used to increase the efficiency of weapons and equipment used in Soviet tanks. In October 1941, the tank he was driving was hit by a German shell and wounded. After that, he invented the firearm, which made his name famous. At a military hospital, one of his comrades asked why the Russian army did not have weapons similar to those of the German army. "So I invented a submachine gun for a soldier. It was called a Kalashnikov assault rifle," said Mikhail Kalashnikov himself. The new weapon began to be used by the Soviet armed forces in 1949 and was awarded the Stalin Prize. It was just one of the prizes Kalashnikov received. Later, Mikhail Kalashnikov was awarded a number of prizes, including the Order of Lenin and the Hero of Socialist Labor. In 1987, Mikhail Kalashnikov was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen" of the Republic of Udmurtia. On his 75th birthday, President Yeltsin awarded him the title of Major General.

Michael Gerard Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005. Nicknamed "Iron Mike"and "Kid Dynamite" in his early career, and later known as "The Baddest Man on the Planet", Tyson is considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time.[5] He reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990. Tyson won his first 19 professional fights by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. Claiming his first belt at 20 years, four months, and 22 days old, Tyson holds the record as the youngest boxer ever to win a heavyweight title. He was the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, as well as the only heavyweight to unify them in succession. The following year, Tyson became the lineal champion when he knocked out Michael Spinks in 91 seconds of the first round. In 1990, Tyson was knocked out by underdog Buster Douglas in one of the biggest upsets in history.
In 1992, Tyson was convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison, although he was released on parole after three years. After his release in 1995, he engaged in a series of comeback fights, regaining the WBA and WBC titles in 1996 to join Floyd Patterson, Muhammad Ali, Tim Witherspoon, Evander Holyfield and George Foreman as the only men in boxing history to have regained a heavyweight championship after losing it. After being stripped of the WBC title in the same year, Tyson lost the WBA title to Evander Holyfield by an eleventh round stoppage. Their 1997 rematch ended when Tyson was disqualified for biting Holyfield's ears, one bite notoriously being strong enough to remove a portion of his right ear. In 2002, Tyson fought for the world heavyweight title, losing by knockout to Lennox Lewis.

EA Sports UFC 4 is a mixed martial arts fighting video game developed by EA Vancouver and published by EA Sports. Serving as the sequel to EA Sports UFC 3 (2018), it was released on August 14, 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Like its predecessor, UFC 4 is a fighting game based on the mixed martial arts promotion Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). There are 229 unique fighters, with 81 alternate versions. The game features a career mode, which was designed to be an "onboarding experience" to teach the player the basics of four MMA disciplines which include boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and jiujitsu. The goal of the career mode, which allows players to create their own custom fighter, is to become the G.O.A.T. (which stands for "greatest of all time"). As players progress in the game, they can choose to accept or decline fights, which will affect the development of the fighter's career. The control scheme was also improved and streamlined to make the game more accessible.[1] Multiplayer modes, including Blitz Battles, and Online World Championships, would also be available. In addition to fighting in the The Octagon, players can also fight in Backyard and Kumite, which resembles an underground fighting arena. However, unlike its predecessor, Ultimate Team would not return in UFC 4.
