The base model of the 2015 VW Golf TDI is the S which starts at $21,995.
Owning a Diesel powered hatchback depends on the type of driving you do. If you are big on highway driving and rack up the miles during long distance drives then there is nothing that beats the diesel when it comes to efficiency.
