Trump is the son of Fred Trump, a wealthy New York City real-estate developer. He worked for his father's firm, Elizabeth Trump & Son, while attending the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and in 1968 officially joined the company. He was given control of the company in 1971 and renamed it The Trump Organization.
In 2010, Trump expressed an interest in becoming a candidate for President of the United States in the 2012 election. In May 2011, he announced he would not be a candidate, but a few weeks later he said he had not completely ruled out the possibility. In December 2011, Trump was suggested as a possible Vice Presidential selection by Michele Bachmann. Bachmann has since suspended her presidential campaign.

The unprecedented decision made by DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to limit the Democratic presidential candidates to only 6 debates for the 2016 Democratic Primary is causing tensions among the Democratic party.

2016 Presidential Debates - Only 6 Planned for Democratic Primary
The 2016 presidential debate schedule is raising questions about leadership in the DNC. The unprecedented decision made by DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to limit the Democratic presidential candidates to only 6 debates for the 2016 Democratic Primary is causing tensions among the Democratic party.
It has been made public that Debbie Wasserman Schultz was the former co-chair of Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign, and Americans are now questioning whether these penalties are an attempt to benefit 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Other candidates on the Democratic ticket, Martin O'Malley, and Clinton's biggest rival Bernie Sanders, also weigh in.
Putting this into perspective:
First DNC Debate, October 13, 2015: Takes place after the deadline for New York voters to register Democrat.
- Independent or Republican voters there who don't follow Politics won't have the opportunity to make a decision.

Democratic Establishment Continues To Make Voters Beg For Fair Presidential Primary Debates

In 2008, the last seriously contested Presidential Primary,
there were TWENTY FIVE debates and the process was already well underway at this time in the primary election season. Further, two of the debates have been scheduled AFTER the early states have already voted. Voters are PISSED and the mainstream media and some Democrats are taking notice. Sane Progressive explains why we need to keep up the pressure.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Democratic National Committee unveiled plans on Thursday to hold six presidential debates starting this fall, with the first scheduled for Oct. 13 in Nevada. With Republicans focusing on their first debate, Thursday night in Cleveland, Democrats released plans for a far-less-crowded schedule. So far, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb and former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee are scheduled to participate in the officially sanctioned forums. Vice President Joe Biden's staff has been kept informed about the scheduling but has not committed to attending, according to Democrats involved with the process. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly discuss private conversations. Recent conversations between Biden associates and Democratic donors and operatives have led to speculation that Biden might challenge Clinton, though he has not announced a decision to his staff or said publicly whether he plans to run. "There's always room for the sitting vice president if he chooses to run," said DNC chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. "In fact, there's room for anyone at this point." Four debates are scheduled in early primary states before the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 1, a number considered too few by candidates challenging Clinton for the nomination. Dates for the final two gatherings, planned for Wisconsin and Miami, have not been set, but the committee said they will be held in February or March. In addition to the October forum, debates will be held Nov. 14 in Des Moines, Iowa; Dec. 19 in Manchester, New Hampshire, and Jan. 17 in Charleston, South Carolina. The debates, Wasserman Schultz said, will "give caucusgoers and primary voters ample opportunity to hear from our candidates about their vision for our country's future." Both Sanders and O'Malley are pushing for more official forums to challenge Clinton, the front-runner. For O'Malley and Sanders, both of whom lag Clinton in fundraising and organization, debates could offer an opportunity to get national attention. "It would be very foolish for the DNC and bad for our party, bad for our prospects, for us to be the party that limits debates, circles the wagons and tries to prevent a discussion of the issues," O'Malley said. "In the ideal world, we'd have more debates before the Iowa caucus." Speaking at a news conference in Cleveland before the GOP's first debate of the 2016 campaign, Wasserman Schultz said the party's candidates will have "plenty of opportunity" to make their case to voters. "Not only in our six sanctioned debates, but through the various forums sponsored by many different groups," she said. Unlike Republicans, who face criticism after allowing only 10 candidates onstage for Thursday's prime-time debate, the Democratic forums will be far less crowded. Clinton's team said she is looking forward to participating. "She prides herself in doing very well in debates," said her chief strategist Joel Benenson. "It's a good opportunity to get attention on issues that are front and center in the lives of Americans." Clinton certainly has practice on a debate stage: In 2008, she participated in 19 face-offs with then-Illinois state Sen. Barack Obama. By this point in the primary calendar, there had already been four debates - in part a result of candidates announcing their campaigns earlier in the year. 2015 The Associated Press. Obama completed his graduation from the Columbia University and Harvard Law School. The leadership quality flowed in his blood since a very young age due to his experiences of being a civil rights attorney, professor of constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School and a member of the 13th District in the Illinois Senate, to name a few. 2004 marked a great success in the President's political career with him receiving immense national attention while campaigning for the United States Senate. His presidential campaign of 2007 surprised the world when he defeated Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2008 winning enough delegates in the Democratic Party primaries. This was followed by a defeat of John McCain (Republican nominee) in the general election and winning the Presidential seats on January 20, 2009.
Barack Obama's presence as the President of the United States of America brought about an array of revolution in various fields. The end of America's Great Recession along with the birth of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization as well as the Job Creation Act of 2010 were a great relief to the citizens. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also called "Obamacare", the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010 and the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act are the other initiatives taken in the domestic level by the President.

Obama has been an inspiration world leader ever since, he has strived to serve the world and has succeeded manifolds in doing so rightly.

Barrack Obama Biography | Is He The Worst US President? | Documentary Films.
Barack Hussein Obama II (US Listeni/bəˈrɑːk huːˈseɪn ɵˈbɑːmə/; born August 4, 1961) is the 44th and current President of the United States, and the first African American to hold the office. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law at University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. He served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004, running unsuccessfully for the United States House of Representatives in 2000.
In 2004, Obama received national attention during his campaign to represent Illinois in the United States Senate with his victory in the March Democratic Party primary, his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July, and his election to the Senate in November. He began his presidential campaign in 2007 and, after a close primary campaign against Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2008, he won sufficient delegates in the Democratic Party primaries to receive the presidential nomination. He then defeated Republican nominee John McCain in the general election, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Nine months after his election, Obama was named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
During his first two years in office, Obama signed into law economic stimulus legislation in response to the Great Recession in the form of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010. Other major domestic initiatives in his first term included the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, often referred to as "Obamacare"; the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act; and the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010. In foreign policy, Obama ended U.S. military involvement in the Iraq War, increased U.S. troop levels in Afghanistan, signed the New START arms control treaty with Russia, ordered U.S. military involvement in Libya in opposition to Muammar Gaddafi, and ordered the military operation that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden. In January 2011, the Republicans regained control of the House of Representatives as the Democratic Party lost a total of 63 seats; and, after a lengthy debate over federal spending and whether or not to raise the nation's debt limit, Obama signed the Budget Control Act of 2011 and the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012.
Obama was reelected president in November 2012, defeating Republican nominee Mitt Romney, and was sworn in for a second term on January 20, 2013. During his second term, Obama has promoted domestic policies related to gun control in response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, and has called for greater inclusiveness for LGBT Americans, while his administration has filed briefs which urged the Supreme Court to strike down the Defense of Marriage Act of 1996 and California's Proposition 8 as unconstitutional. In foreign policy, Obama ordered U.S. military involvement in Iraq in response to gains made by the Islamic State in Iraq after the 2011 withdrawal from Iraq, continued the process of ending U.S. combat operations in Afghanistan, and has sought to normalize U.S. relations with Cuba.

Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton (born October 26, 1947) is an American politician. She was United States Secretary of State in the administration of President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013, a United States Senator representing New York from 2001 to 2009, and, as the wife of President Bill Clinton, First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001. A leading candidate for the Democratic Party's nomination to the 2008 presidential election, she has announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 presidential election.
A native of Illinois, Hillary Rodham was the first student commencement speaker at Wellesley College in 1969 and earned a J.D. from Yale Law School in 1973. After a stint as a Congressional legal counsel, she moved to Arkansas and married Bill Clinton in 1975. She cofounded Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families in 1977, she became the first female chair of the Legal Services Corporation in 1978, and became the first female partner at Rose Law Firm in 1979. The National Law Journal twice listed her as one of the hundred most influential lawyers in America. During her tenure as First Lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and 1983 to 1992, she led a task force that reformed Arkansas's education system and sat on the board of directors of Wal-Mart and several other corporations.
As First Lady of the United States, her major initiative, the Clinton health care plan of 1993, failed to gain approval from the U.S. Congress. In 1997 and 1999, she played a leading role in advocating the creation of the State Children's Health Insurance Program, the Adoption and Safe Families Act, and the Foster Care Independence Act. Her years as First Lady drew a polarized response from the American public. The only First Lady to have been subpoenaed, she testified before a federal grand jury in 1996 regarding the Whitewater controversy, but was never charged with wrongdoing in this or several other investigations during her husband's presidency. Her marriage to the president was subjected to considerable public discussion following the Lewinsky scandal of 1998.
After moving to New York, Clinton was elected in 2000 as the first female senator from the state; she is the only First Lady ever to have run for public office. Following the September 11 attacks, she supported military action in Afghanistan and the Iraq Resolution, but subsequently objected to the George W. Bush administration's conduct of the Iraq war. She opposed most of Bush's domestic policies. Clinton was re-elected to the Senate in 2006. Running in the 2008 Democratic presidential primaries, Clinton won far more primaries and delegates than any other female candidate in American history, but narrowly lost the nomination to Obama.
As Secretary of State in the Obama administration from January 2009 to February 2013, Clinton was at the forefront of the U.S. response to the Arab Spring and advocated the U.S. military intervention in Libya. She took responsibility for security lapses related to the 2012 Benghazi attack, which resulted in the deaths of American consulate personnel, but defended her personal actions in regard to the matter. Clinton visited more countries than any other Secretary of State. She viewed "smart power" as the strategy for asserting U.S. leadership and values, by combining military power with diplomacy and American capabilities in economics, technology, and other areas. She encouraged empowerment of women everywhere and used social media to communicate the U.S. message abroad. Leaving office at the end of Obama's first term, she authored her fifth book and undertook speaking engagements before announcing her second run for the presidency in April 2015.

William Frank Buckley, Jr. (November 24, 1925 -- February 27, 2008) was a conservative American author[3] and commentator. He founded the political magazine National Review in 1955, which had a major impact in stimulating the conservative movement. He hosted 1,429 episodes of the television show Firing Line from 1966 until 1999, where his public persona was famous for a wide vocabulary. He also wrote a nationally syndicated newspaper column, and wrote numerous spy novels.
George H. Nash, a historian of the modern American Conservative movement, states that Buckley was "arguably the most important public intellectual in the United States in the past half century... For an entire generation, he was the preeminent voice of American conservatism and its first great ecumenical figure."[7] Buckley's primary contribution to politics was a fusion of traditional American political conservatism with laissez-faire economic theory and anti-communism, laying groundwork for the new American conservatism of U.S. presidential candidate Barry Goldwater and President Ronald Reagan.
Buckley wrote God and Man at Yale (1951) and over 50 other books on writing, speaking, history, politics and sailing, including a series of novels featuring CIA agent Blackford Oakes. Buckley referred to himself as either a libertarian or conservative.[8][9] He resided in New York City and Stamford, Connecticut. He was a practicing Roman Catholic, regularly attending the traditional Latin Mass in Connecticut.

George Stanley McGovern (July 19, 1922 -- October 21, 2012) was an American historian, author and U.S. Representative, U.S. Senator, and the Democratic Party presidential nominee in the 1972 presidential election.
McGovern grew up in Mitchell, South Dakota, where he was a renowned debater. He volunteered for the U.S. Army Air Forces upon the country's entry into World War II and as a B-24 Liberator pilot flew 35 missions over German-occupied Europe. Among the medals bestowed upon him was a Distinguished Flying Cross for making a hazardous emergency landing of his damaged plane and saving his crew. After the war he gained degrees from Dakota Wesleyan University and Northwestern University, culminating in a PhD, and was a history professor. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1956 and re-elected in 1958. After a failed bid for the U.S. Senate in 1960, he was elected there in 1962.
As a senator, McGovern was an exemplar of modern American liberalism. He became most known for his outspoken opposition to the growing U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. He staged a brief nomination run in the 1968 presidential election as a stand-in for the assassinated Robert F. Kennedy. The subsequent McGovern--Fraser Commission fundamentally altered the presidential nominating process, by greatly increasing the number of caucuses and primaries and reducing the influence of party insiders. The McGovern--Hatfield Amendment sought to end the Vietnam War by legislative means but was defeated in 1970 and 1971. McGovern's long-shot, grassroots-based 1972 presidential campaign found triumph in gaining the Democratic nomination but left the party badly split ideologically, and the failed vice-presidential pick of Thomas Eagleton undermined McGovern's credibility. In the general election McGovern lost to incumbent Richard Nixon in one of the biggest landslides in American electoral history. Re-elected Senator in 1968 and 1974, McGovern was defeated in a bid for a fourth term in 1980.
Throughout his career, McGovern was involved in issues related to agriculture, food, nutrition, and hunger. As the first director of the Food for Peace program in 1961, McGovern oversaw the distribution of U.S. surpluses to the needy abroad and was instrumental in the creation of the United Nations-based World Food Programme. As sole chair of the Senate Select Committee on Nutrition and Human Needs from 1968 to 1977, McGovern publicized the problem of hunger within the United States and issued the "McGovern Report" that led to a new set of nutritional guidelines for Americans. McGovern later served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture from 1998 to 2001 and was appointed the first UN Global Ambassador on World Hunger by the World Food Programme in 2001. The McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program has provided school meals for millions of children in dozens of countries since 2000 and resulted in McGovern's being named World Food Prize co‑laureate in 2008.

The Writings of Barack Obama and John McCain: Biographies, Political Analysis (2008)
Barack Hussein Obama II (born August 4, 1961) is the 44th and current President of the United States, and the first African American to hold the office. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.
In foreign policy, Obama ended U.S. military involvement in the Iraq War, increased U.S. troop levels in Afghanistan, signed the New START arms control treaty with Russia, ordered U.S. military involvement in Libya, and ordered the military operation that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden.

John Sidney McCain III (born August 29, 1936) is the senior United States Senator from Arizona. He was the Republican presidential nominee in the 2008 United States presidential election.
McCain followed his father and grandfather, both four-star admirals, into the United States Navy, graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1958. He became a naval aviator, flying ground-attack aircraft from aircraft carriers. During the Vietnam War, he was almost killed in the 1967 USS Forrestal fire. In October 1967, while on a bombing mission over Hanoi, he was shot down, seriously injured, and captured by the North Vietnamese. He was a prisoner of war until 1973. McCain experienced episodes of torture, and refused an out-of-sequence early repatriation offer. His war wounds left him with lifelong physical limitations.
He retired from the Navy as a captain in 1981 and moved to Arizona, where he entered politics. Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982, he served two terms, and was then elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986, winning re-election easily four times, most recently in 2010. While generally adhering to conservative principles, McCain at times has had a media reputation as a "maverick" for his willingness to disagree with his party on certain issues. After being investigated and largely exonerated in a political influence scandal of the 1980s as a member of the Keating Five, he made campaign finance reform one of his signature concerns, which eventually led to the passage of the McCain-Feingold Act in 2002. He is also known for his work towards restoring diplomatic relations with Vietnam in the 1990s, and for his belief that the war in Iraq should be fought to a successful conclusion. McCain has chaired the Senate Commerce Committee, opposed spending that he considered to be pork barrel, and played a key role in alleviating a crisis over judicial nominations.

In this round we talk about Lincoln Chafee and Gloria La Riva!! .. Some craziness ensues..
Lincoln Chafee
Lincoln Davenport Chafee (/ˈtʃeɪfiː/; born March 26, 1953) is an American politician from Rhode Island who has served as the Mayor of Warwick (1993–1999), a U.S. Senator (1999–2007) and as the 74th Governor of Rhode Island (2011–2015)
Born in Providence, Chafee is the son of Republican politician John Chafee, who served as the 66th Governor of Rhode Island (1963–1969), the United States Secretary of the Navy (1969–1972) and a U.S. Senator (1976–1999). Lincoln Chafee was educated at Providence Country Day School and Phillips Academy, before graduating with a degree in Classics from Brown University. He then moved to Bozeman, Montana, studying to become a farrier at Montana State University, then working at harness racetracks in the United States and Canada.
Chafee returned to Rhode Island and entered politics as a Republican in 1985 as a delegate to the Rhode Island Constitutional Convention. A year later, he was elected to the Warwick City Council, where he served until his election as Warwick's mayor in 1992. When his father died in 1999, Governor Lincoln Almond appointed the younger Chafee to his father's seat in the U.S. Senate. He won the 2000 election to a full term, defeating Democrat Robert Weygand by 57% to 41%.
A liberal Republican, Chafee was frequently ranked as the least conservative Senate Republican, and to the left of some conservative Democrats. He opposed eliminating the estate tax, voted to increase the top federal income tax rate, voted against allowing drilling in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, supported an increased minimum wage and was the only Republican Senator to vote against authorizing the use of force in Iraq. Chafee is pro-choice, supports same-sex marriage, affirmative action, gun control and federal funding for embryonic stem cell research and opposes the death penalty and a Flag Desecration Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Chafee did not vote for President George W. Bush in the 2004 presidential election, instead casting a write-in vote for Bush's father George H. W. Bush. Chafee ran for re-election to the Senate in 2006 and was challenged from the right in the Republican primary by Cranston Mayor Steve Laffey. Chafee was supported by the Republican establishment, including President Bush's wife Laura, as the most electable candidate in the heavily blue state and was opposed by several conservative organizations. Chafee defeated Laffey by 54% to 46% but was defeated in the general election by Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse, the former Attorney General of Rhode Island, by 54% to 46%.
Chafee left office in January 2007 and then left the Republican Party to become an Independent in September of that year. He was a supporter of Democrat Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign and was a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies. Chafee ran for Governor of Rhode Island in the 2010 election and defeated Republican John Robitaille, Democrat Frank T. Caprio and Moderate Party nominee Ken Block with 36% of the vote, becoming the first Independent to serve as Governor of Rhode Island since John Collins in 1790.[2] Chafee was a co-chair of Obama's 2012 re-election campaign and in May 2013, he announced he was switching his registration to the Democratic Party.
In September 2013, Chafee announced that he would not run for re-election in 2014. On April 9, 2015, Chafee announced that he was exploring a run for U.S. President as a Democrat in the 2016 election.[5] Chafee formally announced the launch of his campaign on June 3, 2015.
Glora La Riva
Gloria Estela La Riva (born August 13, 1954, in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American politician associated most recently with the Party for Socialism and Liberation and in California with the Peace and Freedom Party, and previously with the Workers World Party. She was the PSL's 2008 presidential candidate,[1] and was also vying for the nomination of the Peace and Freedom Party in California, but lost the bid to Ralph Nader.[2] La Riva launched her presidential campaign in January 2008, with Eugene Puryear running for vice president.

In foreign policy, Obama ended U.S. military involvement in the Iraq War, increased troop levels in Afghanistan, signed the New START arms control treaty with Russia, ordered U.S. military involvement in Libya, and ordered the military operation that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden. In May 2012, he became the first sitting U.S. president to publicly support legalizing same-sex marriage.

What is Democratic Party (United States) presidential primaries, 2008?
A documentary report all about Democratic Party (United States) presidential primaries, 2008 for the blind and visually impaired or for homework/assignment.
The 2008 Democratic presidential primaries were the process by which the Democratic Party chose its nominee for President of the United States in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Senator Barack Obama of Illinois won and became the party's nominee. However, due to a close race between Obama and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, the contest remained competitive for longer than expected, and neither candidate received enough delegates from state primary races and caucuses to achieve a majority without so-called superdelegate votes.

Barack Obama, born Barack Hussein Obama on August 4, 1961, is the son of the Kenyan senior governmental economist Barack Obama Sr and Stanley Ann Dunham. He is the current President of the United States and is best known to be the first African American to hold the US office. Married to the gorgeous Michelle Obama, he is highly appreciated by the world for his marvelous job and holds a title of being the most powerful man on Earth. His journey from a simple community organizer to becoming the world's most powerful and respectable will leave you amazed.

Barack H. Obama is the 44th President of the United States. His story is the American Story and an epitome of the American Dream. Values from the heartland, a middle-class upbringing in a strong family, hard work and education as the means of getting ahead, and the conviction that a life so blessed should be lived in service to others. After he was elected again as the President after the United States Presidential Elections of 2012, he addressed the nation from the Chicago's McCormick Place. He said, "Tonight you voted for action, not politics as usual. You elected us to focus on your jobs, not ours. And in the coming weeks and months, I am looking forward to reaching out and working with leaders of both parties." Obama has been an inspiration world leader ever since, he has strived to serve the world and has succeeded manifolds in doing so rightly.

In foreign policy, Obama ended U.S. military involvement in the Iraq War, increased U.S. troop levels in Afghanistan, signed the New START arms control treaty with Russia, ordered U.S. military involvement in Libya, and ordered the military operation that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden.
