Flash Flood on I-15 Moapa Valley between Las Vegas and Mesquite Nevada
Our trip took a very scary turn yesterday. 4 inches of water landed on the desert floor in a 2 hour period just as we were headed from Las Vegas to Page Arizona in a shuttle bus. That amount of rain is HALF of the annual average of rain for that area. I now know firsthand why they are called "flash" floods. You don't expect to see that amount of water start gushing down the interstate in front of you. Watching the interstate asphalt just go away before your eyes is frightening. Thanks to our Aztec Shuttle driver for getting us through this safely.

HIKING VALLEY OF FIRE State Park in Las Vegas
We hiked Beehives, Mouse’s Tank, Rainbow Vista, and White Domes Loop at Valley of Fire State Park while in Las Vegas, NV. After looking at outdoor activity options in Vegas on TripAdvisor, I stumbled upon this state park. While Red Rock Canyon gets a lot of hype, as well, I’ve found many who say this state park is more scenic. While I haven’t been to Red Rock Canyon yet, I can say that Valley of Fire does not disappoint! We spent several more hours than planned and barely scratched the surface of what this place has to offer. The views are breathtaking and it’s incredibly peaceful.
We rented a car for the ~40 minute drive, and the cost to g

Amazing Orbs Return To The Las Vegas Valley
This video was captured on a very windy night in the northern valley of Las Vegas, Nevada on the night of September 16, 2015.
As you can tell from the video it was extremely windy but that didn't stop the amazing orbs from showing up and putting on a show and it didn't stop the night vision camera. I cannot see these orbs with binoculars or visually so I have to rely on my gut instinct on what to film when more than one event is happening at the same time. I chose to move off of the four orbs at the beginning of the video to follow two more that looked closer to my location in the hopes that there would be four of them as well. It may have been better to stick with the first four, but I will never know which choice was the best. Towards the end of the video, you will see two orbs make an impossible turn and eventually go behind the mountain. That would be about the 3:39 mark in the video. Look up high because a much smaller object is coming straight down. I didn't see it when I was filming or I would have allowed the camera to run a bit longer.

Audi A7 piloted drive from Silicon Valley to Las Vegas for CES 2015
The long-distance test drive with the Audi A7 piloted driving concept concluded today following its 560-mile journey (approximately 900 km). A selected group of journalists were able to experience piloted driving from behind the wheel during the drive that began in Silicon Valley, California and ended in Las Vegas, Nevada in time to attend the International CES 2015 (Consumer Electronics Show). The concept vehicle impressed particularly through its ability to provide a comfortable drive in real world, everyday driving situations.
The concept relieves the driver of driving duties from 0 to 70 mph, or just over 110 km/h. The car can initiate lane changes and passing maneuvers as well as accelerate and brake independently. Before initiating a lane change to the left or the right (on US highways), the vehicle adapts its speed to surrounding vehicles. If the speed and distance calculation is deemed safe, the vehicle initiates the lane change with precision and in a timely manner.
Before the piloted driving system reaches its limitations, in city environments for example, the driver is requested to take control of the vehicle to ensure proper safety. Multiple warning signales work in unison: colored LEDs at the base of the windshield, signals in the driver information display, a Central Status Indicator (CSI), as well as a acoustic warning indicator requires the driver to retake control.

I'll be working on this at the same time that I am working on my new real estate channel as well. It is quite challenge, but I am taking a long term approach to what I am doing.
I plan to be here on YouTube for years to come, and provide a whole lot more information and coverage about different aspects of the Las Vegas area. It will take time for me to build up the channels, but it will be well worth it in the end! I appreciate all of the support from you, my subscribers, and I will continue to press forward and work to provide you with plenty of good content about Las Vegas!

"I've heard Green Valley in Henderson is one of the best places to live in Las Vegas," is something I often hear as a REALTOR®. But that's usually followed by "where and what is it?" Well, that can depend on who you ask. Find out why that is, and get a quick look at some of the neighborhoods and homes of Green Valley in this video.

We rented a car for the ~40 minute drive, and the cost to get in is only $10/car. It was an incredibly affordable activity (by Las Vegas standards) and offers beautiful views.
Car Rental: less than $50 even after refilling the gas to return it
State Park Entry Fee: $10
TOTAL: $60 (Plus now we had a car for the rest of the day to get up and down the strip!)
I recommend just renting a car and visiting this place on your own vs. an organized tour. We saw the tours letting guests off at short stops/trails and just driving slowly right by the great trails. You’ll spend more and see less by going on an organized tour. I could see this being a good option for those who have mobility issues; otherwise, do it on your own - get out, explore, enjoy.
If you like the outdoors, hiking, physically intensive activities, or breathtaking views, check out Valley of Fire State Park while you’re in Las Vegas.
Trails:
Beehives
Mouse’s Tank
Rainbow Vista
White Domes Loop
Fun Facts:
1) We encountered not 1, but 2 huge Mojave Tarantulas crossing the road on the way out to the park.
2) The desert squirrels by the seating area at White Domes are fun to watch.
3) I showed parts of the Rainbow Vista and White Domes trails in this videos, but in reality, we didn’t even venture more than .5 mi. into either trail. We got so caught up in climbing on stuff that we didn’t have time to explore everything. There’s so much to see!

If all your activity is limited to the Las Vegas Strip, then taking a walk along the Vegas strip is ideal. This is probably the best way to really enjoy the Vegas Strip. There is a lot to see and do. Remember, however, that the Strip is a little over 4 miles long, so plan accordingly
The one thing you must bring is the most comfortable pair of shoes you have. Make that two pairs! You are going to do more walking than you can even imagine. Shoes that are too high

Produced by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, "Las Vegas 360: Travel & Tourism" looks at the positive impacts of tourism on the Southern Nevada Community.
Starting at the northeast corner of Flamingo Road and walking north you will pass several hotels. All have something to offer the first time tourist. For now, let’s just walk up and down the center strip without going into the hotels.
The following stroll past thirteen center strip hotels is about a mile and a half long and is a great way to acclimate yourself to Vegas.
3595 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - (800) 227-2279
The Barbary Coast opened in 1979 with 150 rooms and still has less than 200. It is one of a dozen Las Vegas casino properties (including Sam’s Town and the Stardust) owned by Boyd Gaming, a publicly owned gaming company that trades on the New York Stock Exchange. With $2 billion in revenues, Boyd Gaming also owns casinos in several other states.
Take note that there is a shuttle pickup area on the Barbary Coast’s south side on Flamingo Avenue (right across from Ballys.) This is where you can get picked to go to other hotels (such as the Rio and Palms) that are west on Flamingo.
3555 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - (800) 732-2111
The Flamingo is one of four hotels on the Las Vegas center strip owned by Caesars Entertainment.
The others are Caesars Palace, Paris and Bally’s. Previously known as Park Place Entertainment Corp., Caesars is $4.5 billion public company that trades on the New York Stock Exchange.
Steeped in Vegas history, the Flamingo was one of the first hotel/casinos on the strip originally opening on New Year’s eve in 1946.
The 105 room hotel was built on a dusty road in the middle of nowhere by mobster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel who was murdered six months later. It became the Flamingo Hilton in 1971 before being sold to Caesar’s in 1999. It now has more than 3,500 rooms and one of the best pool areas on the strip.
3535 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - (800) 634-6441
...is certainly not a luxurious hotel but it has inexpensive room rates and its location is ideal. The oriental-themed hotel built in the shape of a Japanese pagoda has been open for 4 decades. It is famous for its massive vintage automobile collection and its "Legends in Concert" show which has been running for more than 20 years.
Originally with 180 rooms, it now has 2,700 rooms which it manages to keep pretty full.

So we aren't in Canada no more! This weekend we actually escaped to Las Vegas so we are going to be spending three days just enjoying winter in the desert and doing cool stuff. And today we're walking down the strip and we're going to show you some of the sights. And the best part - no winter parka right now.
Enough walking for a while. I'm starving. Let's get some dinner. We're going to Shake Shack.
So when this buzzer goes it's time for me to get my food.
It's ready. It's ready. Go get it!
There is the man bringing food. Ooh la lah. I'm on a total health kick today. We've got a double burger, cheese fries, peanut butter shake and a root beer float.
When in Vegas.
I think I found my new favorite burger here at the Shake Shack.
They just do their patties to perfection over here.
Tell, me. Tell, me! You know what? Nobody does fast food like Americans. They've got it down to a science. It's absolutely unhealthy but so delicious.
We just found a jelly bean Statue of Liberty and I'm going to dare Sam five bucks to lick it.
So what did you find? I found the largest Hershey chocolate bar in the world. Really?
We're going to head back to the hotel and get ready for a show. We're going to be seeing the Michael Jackson Show at the Mandalay Bay but unfortunately we can't bring any cameras in there so we won' t be able to show you that but maybe after the show we'll hit the town again and show you the sights. Not maybe! Definitely!
It is so sad to be leaving but it is our last night in Las Vegas so we're going to go out and try and see as much as we can this evening. Let's go wild. Let's gamble.
Why are you at the ATM machine right now? We need some cash to fuel our gambling addiction.
It is never ending. The lights. The noise. The ding ding ding ding. This is what a casino sounds like twenty-four seven. We see people gambling here at like five in the morning when we get up for breakfast. And yes we do get up that early.
What would a trip to Vegas be like without a little gambling? Sam, even looks like an old gambler today with that hat. Oh, I do. Guess what? We're such cheapskates we're playing with pennies. We're going to the penny machine. They don't even have pennies in Canada anymore, so let's use these American pennies up.
Shiver me timbers. I'm playing a pirate game. I'm going to win me some money.
Tell us? Alright, I was a pretty lousy pirate, so I'm going to try my luck with this Owl game. Hoot! Hoot!
Ding ding ding ding ding. Being the supreme cheapskate that I am I'm cutting my loses after two dollars.
So we're here at the Bellagio for the water show. And they have a lot of frequent shows in the evening so we're just waiting for it to start.
So we are now at the Cosmopolitan and we are visiting one of the coolest bars in all of Las Vegas. This behind me is the Chandelier.
This is part of our Travel in the United States series. We're making a series of videos showcasing American culture, American arts, American foods, American religion, American cuisine and American people.

Las Vegas, /lɑːs ˈveɪɡəs/ (locally, also pronounced as /lɑːs ˈvɛɡɨs/) officially the City of Las Vegas and often known as simply Vegas, is a city in the United States, the most populous city in the state of Nevada, the county seat of Clark County, and the city proper of the Las Vegas Valley.[5] Las Vegas is an internationally renowned major resort city known primarily for gambling, shopping, fine dining and nightlife and is the leading financial and cultural center for Southern Nevada.
The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World, and is famous for its mega casino–hotels and associated entertainment. A growing retirement and family city, Las Vegas is the 30th-most populous city in the United States, with a population of 603,488 at the 2013 United States Census Estimates.[6] The 2013 population of the Las Vegas metropolitan area was 2,027,828.[4] The city is one of the top three leading destinations in the United States for conventions, business, and meetings and is one of the wealthiest major cities in the country.[7] [8] In addition, the city's metropolitan area has more AAA Five Diamond hotels than any other city in the world, and is a global leader in the hospitality industry.[9][10] Today, Las Vegas is one of the top tourist destinations in the world.[11][12]
Established in 1905, Las Vegas was incorporated as a city in 1911. At the close of the 20th century, Las Vegas was the most populous American city founded in that century (a similar distinction retained by Chicago in the 19th century). The city's tolerance for numerous forms of adult entertainment earned it the title of Sin City, and has made Las Vegas a popular setting for films, television programs, and music videos.
Las Vegas is generally used to describe not just the city itself, but areas beyond the city limits—especially the resort areas on and near the Las Vegas Strip—and the Las Vegas Valley. The 4.2 mi (6.8 km) stretch of South Las Vegas Boulevard known as the Las Vegas Strip is in the unincorporated communities of Paradise, Winchester, and Enterprise, located in Clark County

Las Vegas
California travel expert Veronica Hill of http://www.CaliforniaTravelExpert.com offers a Las Vegas guide in this episode of "California Travel Tips."
Hosting almost 37 million visitors per year (26 percent from Southern California), Las Vegas is one of America's top destinations.
With an 89 percent occupancy rate, Las Vegas hotel rooms are sometimes in short supply, especially on holiday weekends. Most big-name Las Vegas hotels such as Bellagio, Luxor, and MGM Grand are located along Las Vegas Boulevard between Tropicana and Sahara Avenues. If money is no object, check into the Wynn Las Vegas, a $2.7 billion-dollar resort with some of the most luxurious touches in town.
If you're looking for cheap Las Vegas hotels, stay off the strip. We're staying at the Orleans Las Vegas, a hidden gem off Tropicana that offers some amazing Las Vegas deals.
By day, Vegas takes on a whole new vibe, sort of like a Disneyland for grown-ups. Head to the top of the Las Vegas Stratosphere, the tallest observation tower in the West; ride the Manhattan Express roller coaster at New York, New York Casino; check out the Mandalay Bay Shark Exhibit, or take in the dolphin show at Mirage. For a romantic outing, board a Venetian gondola for a cruise through the Venetian Grand Canals.
The Venetian Las Vegas casino has authentically recreated every nuance of Italian life, from the high-end boutiques at the Grand Canal Shops to the faithful recreation of St. Mark's Square. You'll find several nice Las Vegas restaurants here as well, from Mario Batali's Enoteca San Marco to Wolfgang Puck's Postrio.
Las Vegas is busy on most weekends and holidays, so if you really want to avoid the crowds, come the week before Christmas. You'll be rewarded with some of the cheapest room rates of the year.
We're starting our Saturday morning with a Las Vegas wedding at Paris Las Vegas, followed by a lovely lunch at Mon Ami Gabi. And after a few glasses of wine, and some terrific French cuisine, we hit the town. Just so you know, Las Vegas weddings are most popular in February, for obvious reasons, so be sure you book them well in advance. Elvis Presley married Priscilla Beaulieu at the Aladdin, now known as Planet Hollywood.
For a spectacular birds-eye view of Las Vegas, ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Towering 50 stories above the Las Vegas Strip, the experience is offered both day and night. In fact, you can even get married up here!
One of our favorite free Las Vegas attractions is the Bellagio Fountains Water Show, which begins every half hour during the day, and every 15 minutes at night. For the best views, grab a seat at one of the restaurants along the lake, then finish with a gelato and a peek inside Bellagio's Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
Other Las Vegas freebies include the MGM Lion Exhibit, and the Mirage volcanoes, which erupt every 15 minutes from dusk until midnight.
Las Vegas traffic can be a nightmare, so to get around town quickly, take the Las Vegas Monorail. Hours are 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. and one-way or day passes can be purchased at the kiosks. It has seven stations along the Strip, beginning at the MGM Grand and ending at the Sahara, one of the few Las Vegas casinos where you can still find $1 blackjack tables.
Once you arrive, there are plenty of pedestrian bridges that will lead you across the busy Strip.
During the summer, temperatures peak at 120 degrees, so naturally the Las Vegas pool scene is where it's at. One of the hottest Las Vegas hotel pools is Caesars Garden of the Gods, with 8 pools, an 18-foot waterfall, and swim-up blackjack tables. The Las Vegas pool party season runs between April and September.
When you're ready to party, take in the Las Vegas nightlife on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, or hit the Las Vegas club circuit. You can avoid lengthy lines and get the VIP treatment by purchasing a Vegas Passport, or arriving well before midnight. Hot spots are always changing, but right now the in-crowd hangs at Vanity (Hard Rock), Eve (City Center), Haze (Aria Hotel), Tao (Venetian) and XS (at Encore).
Other party spots include Pure at Caesars, LAX at Luxor, LAVO at the Palazzo and Ghostbar, Moon and Rain at the Palms.
Big-name Las Vegas show tickets sell out months in advance, so book them well before your visit. Some of the lesser-known shows are equally entertaining, and usually available the same day.
Just don't leave Vegas without stopping at the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas Sign, located a mile south of Russell Road. There is a small parking lot on the southbound lane, though it takes a small stroke of luck to get a spot. Elvis is even waiting to take a picture with you — for a small donation.
Las Vegas flights arrive at McCarran International Airport, just a block from the Strip.

s in City is on fire through the end of summer and the best way to cool down is at one of its legendary pool parties. Assistant EditorMelanie Wynne scopes out the best parties and hottest headliners over Labor Day Weekend and beyond.
We’ve rounded up the hottest Las Vegas pool partiesto hit from now until Labor Day – and beyond. Think splashy soirees with bass-thumping beats, cocktails priced to impress and the hottest DJs on the planet. These poolside clubs attract large crowds of well-toned, swimsuit-clad revelers, and their velvet-rope door policies are notoriously tough. Unless you plan to arrive early or know a promoter who can get you (and for extra insurance, your cutest girlfriends) in, it’s wise to buy tickets online in advance, splurge on a table or bottle service, or for an all-out VIP experience, reserve a private cabana.
Here’s where to get your swimandyour groove on in Vegas this Labor Day Weekend:
Known for excellent service and a stellar lineup of EDM talent (superstar DJ David Guetta is a regular), this hotspot features a three-tiered network of pools. Reserving a VIP bungalow here is a little like having your own poolside apartment with your own bikini-clad server. On two levels, the 26 private cabanas still offer luxury, with spray-mist systems, ceiling fans and back balconies with views of the Vegas Strip. Around the pool you’ll find 12 pillow-strewn day beds, and set right in the water, 14 white-vinyl-padded lounges called “lily pads.” A circular dance station with three poles and waterfall rim rises from the center of one of the pools, and while the DJ booth is set a bit outside the action, speakers are spread throughout the club, enabling clear sound everywhere. The grill offers substantial appetizers like mahi mahi soft tacos, and drinks (served by the glass or pitcher) include the Cocolicious, a blend of coconut vodka, Hennessy Black and rock candy, topped with coconut water and shredded coconut.

s in City is on fire through the end of summer and the best way to cool down is at one of its legendary pool parties.
Las Vegas Travel Guide 2014 - Taking a walk along the Vegas Strip
---------------------------------------------
Click here: http://binaryoptionstradingz.com/best-way-make-money-with-binary-option-phuong
---------------------------------------------
If all your activity is limited to the Las Vegas Strip, then taking a walk along the Vegas strip is ideal.
Shoes that are too high or tight will end your walk much sooner than you had planned.
Make regular stops. Rest whenever you can to avoid getting tired quickly, maybe get refreshments at shops along the way. Besides the mega resorts along the strip, there are a few Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy and McDonald's along the way
Take some water with you to avoid dehydration. Take as much as you can carry comfortably and plan to buy more along the way if you run out.
In the extremely hot Summer months, spend as little time outside as possible. You may actually want to reconsider walking during those months.
Remember to take a light sweater or jacket with you, even if it's sweltering hot outside. It may seem nice at first when you come in from the heat, but the casinos are kept at a constant temperature of 60 degrees. Not good, if you happen to be wearing a tank top and shorts.
