Like others who viewed the film, Prince doesn't understand why some people were cut out entirely - including him. "Somebody was very pivotal in the success and the sound of N.W.A. It was Donovan Smith, our engineer...he's nowhere to be seen. He was always there hanging out with us," Arabian Prince tells us. "So that and just like, 50% of the scenes - in real life - I was there."
After explaining why MC Ren should have been depicted "a lot better," Arabian Prince hits DJ Vlad with the reality that "star power matters" before delving into how the members of N.W.A. acted off the mic. "Like I told somebody [else], I gangbanged for two days, and when I saw somebody get beat down I was done. I'm playing football," he recalls with a laugh. Not trying to downplay anyone's street cred, Prince claims Eazy-E was the only one he really saw "do some stuff," however MC Ren is up in the ranks as well "a little bit 'cause he lived in the neighborhood." "...Maybe you might not have a personal experience, but around you is that story," Prince explains.

If you were to ask him (which we have), lyricism is on a rapid decline and the game is being taken over by rappers in dresses. With Slim Jesus being the topic of discussion more often than not these days, DJ Vlad had to ask his thoughts on him - and as expected, Jamar is not impressed.
"What do I think about it? I think he's a product of the times," Lord Jamar tells us. "You see you act like this is a novelty, but drill music is a reality in Chicago, Chiraq. He explained that a lot of artists get caught up in the joys of the royalty check at the beginning of their career, but Sir Mix-a-Lot broke down why owning your publishing is the best thing to do.
The Seattle-born emcee said that he owns about 98% of his publishing, and has used it to recoup money on various projects over the years. He then shared a story about The Pussycat Dolls sampling "Swass" for their track "Don't Cha," which became a big hit. Mix-a-Lot said that he came out on top in the scenario, because he never thought "Swass" would do anything when he put it out.

"The woman that's sitting by his side right now...She was sitting by James Harden last week," he recently told CeCe of 93.5 KDAY Radio.
"I think what I said was too harsh," he admitted. "The word I said was phony, maybe everybody didn't get it. What I should've said [was] 'they [were] doing the most.'" Master P - whose known Lamar Odom over 15 years and considers himself a mentor to him - says he only chose to speak on it since he knows the Odom family personally. "The thing about me, I come from the hood - if I don't know something I'm not gonna talk on it, that's just me. Like, I knew these people."
When speaking on Khloe specifically, Master P told CeCe "I met her one time, so I can't say nothing bad about her. I'm just telling you - from what I see - if I seen you with another dude, I see you doing your thing with James Harden now...it's just kind of strange for me, from a person that know...Think about it. When asked about how the group felt after Cube left, DJ Yella told us that it wasn't a regular topic of conversation, but he briefly acknowledged that the group's feelings at the time were made known on "Message to B.A.," short for Benedict Arnold. Their song later spawned Cube's diss "No Vaseline," which DJ Yella thought was "cool," despite being named on the track. He then added that all of NWA knew that Cube "got us on that one."
The conversation then turned to the group dissolving after their second album, "N****z4Life," was mixed, and DJ Yella made it clear that outside people broke up the group.

"Me personally, I won't listen to something like that," Paul tells DJ Vlad. "I wanna listen to something where they're speaking about something that's authentic."
"We all know every rapper exaggerated a little bit, but to go that far about it you gotta at least come from somewhere - at least for me to listen to you," Paul Wall continues. If Slim Jesus were from his hometown Paul admits he'd "feel differently," but in the end he'd "much rather listen to Chief Keef" or Lil Mouse because they rap about what they know.

The West Coast emcee debunked one scene from the movie where Eazy fell on hard times after N.W.A. disbanded, which B.G. Knocc Out said was a complete lie. He explained that Eazy had a stocked bank account and multiple nice houses, which is nothing like what was portrayed in the film.
During the conversation the "Real Compton City G's" rapper spoke about other problems he had with the film, including Dr. Dre portraying himself as a gangster. B.G. Knocc Out also didn't like how himself and other artists signed to Eazy-E's Ruthless Records were left out of the film, and he added that it seems like Dr. Dre was trying to wipe out that part of Eazy's legacy.

Kobe Bean Bryant (born August 23, 1978) is an American professional basketball player who plays shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Bryant enjoyed a successful high school basketball career at Lower Merion High School, where he was recognized as the top high school basketball player in the country. Antoine Carraby (born December 11, 1967), better known by his stage name DJ Yella, is an American DJ, music producer, film director and pornographer from Compton, California. He was a member of the World Class Wreckin' Cru along with Dr. Dre. He later became a founding member of the pioneering gangsta rap group N.W.A (composed of Yella, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and Eazy-E). Along with Dre, he produced Eazy-E's debut album Eazy-Duz-It and all three N.W.A albums, translating into millions of sales. He co-produced the platinum-selling debut albums of J.J. Fad and Michel'le with Dre and contributed to The D.O.C.'s 1989 album No One Can Do It Better (also produced by Dre). Jerry Heller witnessed Dre and Yella's work together and wrote in 2006 of an almost eerie understanding between the pair, as they crafted high quality beats and productions with almost no words or full sentences needing to be spoken.[citation needed]
Yella remained close to Eazy and stayed on production duties at Ruthless Records after the acrimonious break up of N.W.A. He produced J.J. Fad's second album Not Just a Fad (1990), Yomo & Maulkie's album Are U Xperienced? (1991), two tracks from Eazy-E's It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa (1993), the gold-selling hit single Foe tha Love of $ from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Creepin on ah Come Up E.P., Menajahtwa's album Cha-licious, and tracks from H.W.A.'s Az Much Ass Azz U Want E.P. (all three from 1994), and oversaw Eazy's final album in 1995 after his sudden AIDS-related death.

"Everybody in hip-hop say they from the hood, but when the hood needs them, they're nowhere to be found."
Hailing from Jackson, Mississippi, the public speaker has also noticed how hip-hop doesn't recognize socially-conscious artists as much as the rappers whose lyrics hardly hold any substance, especially those from southern states like Big K.R.I.T. "If hip-hopper's ain't acting like monkeys, people don't f****** support them. And I'm tired of that, dude," he painfully expresses. "What's going on in hip-hop right now is embarrassing, dude."

Master P goes into great detail about his early rise to success in the music industry sharing stories about the relationships he had with people like Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Suge Knight and many more. He even weighs in on the recently released N.W.A biopic "Straight Outta Compton" questioning Dr. Dre's decision not to finance the film and characterizes the portrayl of Eazy-E as unrealistic to Eazy's true nature. This time, he was there promoting his new energy drink line S9, as well as talking about his upcoming biopic trilogy. Master P reveals that his son Romeo has shelled out $10 million as Executive Producer of the first film titled "The Ice Cream Man Movie" with the other two films ("TRU" and "No Limit The Empire") being set for release based on the success of the first film.
Master P goes into great detail about his early rise to success in the music industry sharing stories about the relationships he had with people like Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Suge Knight and many more. He even weighs in on the recently released N.W.A biopic "Straight Outta Compton" questioning Dr. Dre's decision not to finance the film and characterizes the portrayl of Eazy-E as unrealistic to Eazy's true nature. The Ice Cream Man also speaks on rap beefs today, Lil Wayne's upcoming Weezyana Fest, his fight with Pimp C plus much more. You won't want to miss this one!

He began by speaking on his origins growing up in rough neighborhoods in both New Orleans and the Bay Area, and how he got his hustle drive during his time spent in the Bay.
Master P recalled losing his brother, who he says was killed by his own "best friend" at the time, and it is because of this that Master P doesn't think he has any real friends. He went on to address his early and very financially beneficial record deal and how he went on to sell well over 75 million records. He compared his early drive to constantly put out hits to new rappers now slacking off after they release one hot song. It is because of his drive to release bangers that his fans really feel, that Master P considers himself the "Michael Jordan of street Hip-Hop."
