Brave New World, 1984, The Wall, Equilibrium and more recently Hunger Games, modern culture is haunted by the spectre of extremely well-organized societies whose apparent perfection conceals dark dictatorial worlds. If this formal exercise is known to all, what is the intimate origin, the true source of its inspiration? In fact, everything comes from a small Russian sci-fi novel published in 1920 by Yevgeny Zamyatin, "We ". Rémi Orts Project and Alan B wish to pay tribute to this counter-utopia, first of its kind, by revisiting it in their concept album, the “Glass fortress”. Let yourself be taken in the wake of Daniel and Iris, two human beings opposed in every way, that nonetheless will rejoin in the same destiny, the choice of Life, even at their own peril... Adapted from this album, a short film, innovative and moving, will be released in April 2015 with the collaboration of the talented photographer, Fanny Storck. Le Meilleur des mondes, 1984, The Wall, Equilibrium et plus récemment Hunger Games, la culture moderne est hantée par le fantasme de sociétés extrêmement bien organisées dont l'apparente perfection masque de sombres univers dictatoriaux. Mais si l'exercice de style est connu de toutes et de tous, quelle en est donc l'intime origine, la véritable source d'inspiration ? Tout est en fait parti d'un petit roman russe de science-fiction publié en 1920 par Ievgueni Zamiatine, « Nous autres ». Rémi Orts Project et Alan B tenaient à rendre hommage à cette contre-utopie, première du genre, en la revisitant dans leur concept album « La Forteresse de verre » (The Glass fortress). Laissez-vous emporter dans le sillage de Daniel et Iris, deux êtres que tout oppose, et qui pourtant se rejoindront dans la même destinée, celle du choix de la Vie, fût-ce au péril de la leur...
