Now this is, a hell of a chess move. You don't hear a lot about China but when you do, boy they've been busy! with Russia building the BRICS Nations and now World Banking, this is huge. Eastern Imperialism against West. This will teach a lot of robs you can't have it all by stealing, going to learn to share, the new era.
The new China-led bank is expected to challenge the Washington-based World Bank, so the US is increasing pressure on its allies not to join the institution. The US’ concern is that the new investment bank might not have high standards of governance and environmental and social safeguards.
The new bank is expected to challenge the Western dominance of the US-led World Bank and IMF in global infrastructure projects, which experts believe will create healthy competition.
South Korea, Switzerland and Luxembourg were also considering joining the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the Financial Times reported.
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said he would make a final decision on AIIB membership soon. South Korea and other countries are in discussions with China over possible participation.
China’s main regional rival Japan said earlier this month that Asian countries including Japan have until March 31 to decide on becoming AIIB founding members.
"They told us they are considering. Whether Japan will join, we do not know. It is Japan's own decision," Chinese Finance Minister Lou Jiwei said, according to the Xinhua news agency.
Nearly 30 countries have confirmed their participation in the AIIB, which is aimed at helping finance infrastructure projects across Asia and is expected to come into being this year.
The AIIB was formally launched by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2014, and is expected to become a tool of a broader Chinese push for growing international power and economic significance.

Banks were closed across Italy on Friday as several bank employees unions called a strike to protest against the Italian Banking Association's decision to rescind a national collective bargaining contract. About 90 percent of the union members joined the strike.
In central Rome, about 10,000 bank employees held a protest against what they called banker's selfishness and arrogance. Other protests are taking place in Milan, Palermo and Ravenna. Unions say the banking sector currently employs 300,000 people, with 68,000 jobs lost over the past 15 years and 20,000 more at serious risk of being slashed in the near future.

STORYLINE
Italy's financial system has sometimes been criticised for its conservative approach to the financial market and its preference for more secure types of investments.
Many Italians generally prefer to invest in real estate and small insurance funds to increment the state pension.
It is also very hard to access credit lines without the necessary guarantees. These can sometimes be as much as three times the line of credit required as caf owner Nando Rossetti explained.
"If we ask for a loan of 100-thousand euros (137-thousand US dollars), banks will ask us for a minimum guarantee of 300-thousand euros (410-thousand US dollars) to 350-thousand (479-thousand US dollars)."
Such measures have helped the Italian financial system remain more solid and stable.
Premier Silvio Berlusconi's government met on Wednesday to discuss emergency measures to protect Italian banks and Italians' savings from the world financial turmoil.
Berlusconi and other government officials have repeatedly said they would not allow speculative attacks on Italian banks and will take all necessary measures to protect citizens' accounts.
Shares in Italian banks and most other stocks have sunk repeatedly since last week in the wake of the U.S. financial meltdown.
Among the emergency measure passed Wednesday night, the government would step in to guarantee deposits up to the currently insured level of 103-thousand euros (141,400 US dollars) should a bank be unable to repay the sum.

For example, if we ask for a loan of 100-thousand euros (137-thousand US dollars), banks will ask us for a minimum guarantee of 300-thousand euros (410-thousand US dollars) to 350-thousand (479-thousand US dollars)."

"This is not really going to affect the small firms. We have a lot of small banks which perhaps are in a sound condition and they may still be giving credit to firms. The problem is that the global economic conditions are weakening so perhaps it is not a good time now, even if the banking system is in a sound condition, it's not a good time to invest."

Today, Bank of America (BAC) is the second largest bank in the U.S. by assets. But, before becoming a global company, it was a small neighborhood bank in San Francisco founded by Amadeo Giannini in 1904. He established the Bank of Italy to serve working class citizens, particularly Italian Americans. Bank of Italy was renamed in 1930 to Bank of America National Trust and Savings Organization. From the beginning, BofA supported several public projects - including the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge which opened in 1937. The bank also used the latest technologies to enhance its services, creating the first computer to be used in banking in 1955. That same year it developed the string of numbers found at the bottom of checks today known as the bank's routing number. In 1969, BofA piloted its first ATM at the Stonestown branch in San Francisco. Today, BofA has more than 16,000 ATMs. In 1983, BofA began offering 'Home Banking' to give customers access to their accounts remotely through their PCs. And in 2008, the bank acquired Merrill Lynch, making BofA the world's largest wealth management corporation.

The Medici - Secrets of the most Powerful Family in the World (Full Documentary) Secrets of Rothschild Family Fortune: The Medici were among the most powerful families in the world. Beginning in the fourteenth century, they built a fortune bankrolling popes and kings. Through their wealth and their political abilities, they went from being one of many patrician clans in Florence to the city's hereditary rulers. They married into the royal houses of Austria and France, and two of their number were made pope. Scholars and lovers of art, the Medici were patrons of Leonardo, Raphael, Botticelli, Galileo, Michelangelo, and Cellini. And under their rule, Florence became the intellectual hub of the Western world. Many of the leading Medici were buried in the Chapel of San Lorenzo in Florence, which long enjoyed the family's patronage. In 2004, we obtained Superintendent Antonio Paolucci's permission to examine 47 of the Medici interred there, including Cosimo. The multiyear project is a unique opportunity to study the health of the Medici (a rare look at a single family over a long period) and might settle allegations of murder to be found in legends about the dynasty. The House of Medici (/ˈmɛdɨtʃi/ med-i-chee; Italian pronunciation: [de ˈmɛːditʃi]) was a banking family, political dynasty and later royal house that first began to gather prominence under Cosimo de' Medici in the Republic of Florence during the late 14th century. The family originated in the Mugello region of the Tuscan countryside, gradually rising until they were able to fund the Medici Bank. The bank was the largest in Europe during the 15th century, seeing the Medici gain political power in Florence — though officially they remained citizens rather than monarchs. The Medici produced four Popes of the Catholic Church—Pope Leo X (1513–1521), Pope Clement VII (1523–1534), Pope Pius IV (1559–1565), and Pope Leo XI (1605);[1] two regent queens of France—Catherine de' Medici (1547–1559) and Marie de' Medici (1600–1610); and, in 1531, the family became hereditary Dukes of Florence. In 1569, the duchy was elevated to a grand duchy after territorial expansion. They ruled the Grand Duchy of Tuscany from its inception until 1737, with the death of Gian Gastone de' Medici. The grand duchy witnessed degrees of economic growth under the earlier grand dukes, but by the time of Cosimo İ de' Medici, Tuscany was fiscally bankrupt. Their wealth and influence initially derived from the textile trade guided by the guild of the Arte della Lana. Like other signore families, they dominated their city's government, they were able to bring Florence under their family's power, and they created an environment where art and humanism could flourish. They along with other families of Italy, such as the Visconti and Sforza of Milan, the Este of Ferrara, and the Gonzaga of Mantua, fostered and inspired the birth of the Italian Renaissance. The Medici Bank was one of the most prosperous and most respected institutions in Europe. There are some estimates that the Medici family were the wealthiest family in Europe for a period of time. From this base, they acquired political power initially in Florence and later in wider Italy and Europe. A notable contribution to the profession of accounting was the improvement of the general ledger system through the development of the double-entry bookkeeping system for tracking credits and debits. The Medici family were among the earliest businesses to use the system. http://www.swiss-banking-lawyers.com In this video you can see some of the most beautiful beaches and secret bays of Italy. This secret paradise is not far away from Otranto, the heel of Italy.
We used a Gopro 3+ cam installed on a Phantom 2 quadrocopter. The drone started and landed on the boat. The drone was piloted from the boat which was always in movement.
The images made with a drone controlled from a fast moving boat are much more dynamic and interesting compared to the images made with a drone guided from land. Here you see the results you can obtain if the drone starts from a fast moving boat.
The rare beauty of the secret beaches and the unknown bays of the Italian Salento region shown on this video can easy compete with the best beaches and well-known bays of Sardinia. Enjoy the video.
