Frank Lord (13 March 1936 – June 2005) was an English footballer and manager. He played as a centre-forward, with a goalscoring ratio of nearly 1 goal in every 2 league matches. He holds two records for Crewe Alexandra for most hat-tricks in total (8), and most hat-tricks in one season (4).

After finishing his playing career he moved into management in South Africa with Cape Town City, and was later appointed manager at Hereford United. Three largely unsuccessful years at Edgar Street followed, and his only other foray in English football management was a brief spell as caretaker manager at Wigan Athletic in 1995.

He later returned to South Africa, settling in Cape Town where he was a scout for Manchester United.

Herman Frank is a heavy metal guitarist from Germany best known for his work with Accept and Victory. In 2009, he released his first solo album called Loyal to None. Frank has also recorded with Hazzard, Sinner, Moon'Doc, Saeko, Thomsen and Poison Sun. As a record producer and engineer, he has worked for Saxon, Rose Tattoo, Molly Hatchet and several others.

Herman Frank joined Accept in 1982 shortly before the release of their album Restless and Wild. He replaced guitarist Jan Koemmet, who had been hired for Jörg Fischer but had left the band before the recording sessions. Frank himself departed after the release of the following (and the band's most successful) album Balls to the Wall in 1983.

When Accept reunited for festival appearances in 2005, it was with Herman Frank in the spot alongside constant presence Wolf Hoffmann. He was involved in the band's recent reunion and appears on their 2010 album Blood of the Nations, their first album in 14 years, and its 2012 follow-up Stalingrad.

Frank Duval (born November 22, 1940, Berlin) is a German composer, conductor, record producer, songwriter and singer.

Born into an artists' family, he studied as an actor and dancer, but also sang with his sister, Maria. By the 1960s, Duval was also composing music, both orchestral and pop, and his first soundtrack, for an episode of the German serial Tatort, was broadcast in 1977. From his 1979 first album, Die Schönsten Melodien Aus Derrick und der Alte, the song "Todesengel" became a moderate hit.

During the 1980s, Duval released several soundtracks, as well as proper artist albums (with occasional lyrical help from his wife, Kalina Maloyer). He was in the German charts several times, with "Ways" (1983), "Lovers Will Survive" (1986) and "When You Were Mine" (1987).

Duval wrote songs for Ivan Rebroff, Alexandra, Karin Huebner, Margot Werner, Klaus Löwitsch and Maria Schell.

Frank Jensen (born 28 May 1961) is a Danish politician, member of the Danish Social Democrats, and has been Lord Mayor of Copenhagen since 1 January 2010. He was Minister for Research 27 September 1994 to 30 December 1996 in the Cabinet of Poul Nyrup Rasmussen II and Justice Minister from 30 December 1996 to 27 November 2001 in the Cabinets of Poul Nyrup Rasmussen III and IV.

When Mogens Lykketoft resigned as leader of the Social Democrats after losing the 2005 Danish parliamentary election, Frank Jensen and Helle Thorning-Schmidt were the two candidates to succeed him. The party members voted on 12 April 2005, electing Helle Thorning-Schmidt as leader with 24,261 votes (53%) against 21,348 votes (47%) for Frank Jensen.

"A Whiter Shade of Pale" is the debut song by the British band Procol Harum, released 12 May 1967. The single reached number one in the UK Singles Chart on 8 June 1967, and stayed there for six weeks. Without much promotion, it reached #5 on the US charts, as well. It is one of the fewer than 30 all-time singles to have sold 10 million (or more) copies worldwide.^{[citation needed]}

With its haunting Bach-flavoured instrumental melody, soulful vocals, and unusual lyrics—by the song's co-authors Gary Brooker, Keith Reid, and Matthew Fisher-- "A Whiter Shade of Pale" reached #1 in several countries when released in 1967. In the years since, it has become an enduring classic. It was the most played song in the last 75 years in public places in the UK (as of 2009), and the United Kingdom performing rights group Phonographic Performance Limited in 2004 recognised it as the most-played record by British broadcasting of the past 70 years. Also in 2004, Rolling Stone placed "A Whiter Shade of Pale" #57 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
