Severe thunderstorms, flash flooding possible for parts of Southwest

There is a risk of severe thunderstorms, heavy rain and flash flooding across eastern New Mexico and west Texas through the day Wednesday. Rain is likely across the northern Plains, Pacific Northwest and Great Lakes. Showers and thunderstorms are possible in Florida. Water-logged portions of the southeast will see dry weather.
