Via ContraInfo:
On July 17th 2015, the preliminary hearing against Silvia Guerini, Costantino ‘Costa’ Ragusa and Luca ‘Billy’ Bernasconi took place in Turin, Italy. The three have been previously arrested and jailed for several years in Switzerland, accused of having organised an act of sabotage against a nanotechnology research centre of IBM, under construction at the time. On April 15th 2010, they were stopped and arrested by Swiss police who searched their car and found explosives, as well as leaflets claiming the imminent action under the name ‘Earth Liberation Front Switzerland’.
They have now been indicted according to the article 110 of the Italian penal code, which is used to punish offenses of criminal association. Particularly they’re accused of having conspired together to plan the action in Italy, of having illegally obtained the materials needed to assemble and prepare explosive devices, and of having smuggled such devices between the Italian and Swiss border. All charges include the aggravating circumstance of the ‘purpose of terrorism’, historically used in political trials in Italy to obtain long pretrial detention, and longer prison sentence if found guilty.
The judge at the preliminary hearing accepted the thesis proposed by the deputy prosecutor Enrico Arnaldi Di Balme and found irrelevant that Billy, Costa and Silvia have already been tried and convicted in the Swiss Confederation.
The trial will commence on January 13th 2016 in Turin. Let’s use it as an occasion to relaunch the struggle against environmental destruction.
In view of the trial, the three comrades are facing a hard time and need to cover several legal expenses, so they’ve shared a call for support. Any help is much appreciated.

ABOUT THE WEEK OF ACTION
A week of action has been called to encourage people all of the UK & the
world to take action against the construction of the North Wales Prison
in Wrexham.
The prison will be the second largest prison in Europe, holding more
than 2100 people and costing £250 million to build. Australian
contractor Lend Lease was awarded the contract to build the Wrexham
titan prison by the government in May 2014.
Local people have resisted the prison for over half a decade; objecting
to planning applications, lobbying, going to meetings. Full planning
permission was eventually granted in November 2014 despite local
resistance. It is now a construction site and this place of abuse and
oppression is being built as we speak. Read the rest of this entry »

via RabbleLDN:
Today, bombs placed at a rally in the Turkish town of Ankara killed at least 86 people. This comes in the context of the bomb attacks in Amed in June, against an election rally; the attack on Kobanê from Turkey’s borders in June and the attack in July in Suruç against a delegation bringing aid to Kobanê. Many comrades in Turkey and Kurdistan blame these attacks on the Turkish state.
This statement has been released by Revolutionary Anarchist Action (DAF):
CAN’T BE FORGOTTEN, CAN’T BE FORGIVEN
“Today, on the 10th of October, the “Labor, Democracy and Peace Meeting” that was organized by various unions, associations and organizations has been attacked. Like in Amed on June and in Suruc in July, the bombs exploding in Ankara today has killed tens of people.
Thousands of people came together from many different cities of the geography against the politics of war, against war profiteering of different power groups.
Today, the bombs that exploded, murdered the people who wanted peace, life and freedom against war.
This explosion, in which more than 30 people have lost their lives until now, is a reflection of the blood thirsty greed of the powers. The ones who murdered in Amed, in Pirsus, in Cizir, are now trying to intimidate the peoples, frustrate with war politics and discourage from the struggle for freedom, by murdering tens of people in Ankara.
The powers should know that by any means, be it arrests or murder with bombs, we will not be afraid of the powers or submit to their war politics.
For a new world, a life of freedom, the murderers in Amed, in Pirsus, Cizir and Ankara, murdered ones CAN’T BE FORGOTTEN, the murderers CAN’T BE FORGIVEN.”

Early morning on October 2, we attacked the westside olympia police substation. We smashed the windows and door security keypads, glued the locks, tagged the outside, and trashed the inside with paint mixed with brake fluid. One tag read “no cops no charges.” Our hearts swelled with joy. A few blunt objects, some super glue, and some paint can be found lying around in nearly any garage (make sure there is nothing incriminating left behind), or can be scored for a few bucks (use cash). A group of trusted comrades with a plan can break piggy’s hearts with relative ease, they are too demoralized to even clean up their own sty.
If this strikes you as “violent,” consider the fact that the police are the most consistently racist and misogynist of all mass shooters.
We loved seeing the light reflect off city hall’s shattered windows as the leaves turned from green to golden. We hope the westside substation stays trashed, with its windows boarded up, keeping out the sunlight. We hope that this way the swine get just a tiny taste of the misery they inflict on millions of people by imprisoning them in cells for years on end. We hope they incinerate themselves inside, and nothing is left, like the prisons we want to see in ashes.
We fight from where we stand. We hope others do the same.
We attack because we want to communicate with you, because we are inspired to act against the police.
We hope you will act in your own way to fight for a world without police.

Once you are released from prison, the first thing you realise is that your glance doesn’t stumble into walls, bars or dividers. It can wander and face the sky, without staring through barbed wire. Then, your footsteps are no longer numbered—twenty walking towards the wall of the prison yard, and twenty going back to your cell. Certainly, in my case, the prison yard walls have expanded by one kilometer distance from my home, without even being able to have contact with my companion…
But be that as it may, for me my release from prison feels like a first victory against fear and injustice they want to impose on us as a restrictive condition of living…
Nothing of this would have happened if it weren’t for a dynamic polymorphous movement of solidarity, who conveyed to me from every corner of Greece the strength and optimism that history is not only written by the authoritarians but also the insurgents…
A big thank you goes out to all of the known and unknown comrades who broke the terror of the Power’s omnipotence.
A big thank you also goes to the doctors at the General State Hospital of Nikaia, and even more to the physicians Spyros Sakkas and Olga Kosmopoulou, who supported me with warmth and self-abnegation from the very first moment.
Of course, I do not forget those left behind, in prisons and frigid cells… I’ll always stand beside them and hold on to all the moments we shared, until we meet again…
Because as long as there are prisons, no one will be free…
Freedom for political prisoners
Freedom for those who are in prison cells

28. September 2015: 7. Update Nichtfreilassung Marco Camenisch
ENGLISH VERSION
Read the rest of this entry »

Our Day Will Come – Cover
Our Day Will Come
Attending to the solidarity call to Evi Statiri we share with you a book which speaks about what was triggered after the arrest of the fugitive Christos Xiros, the discovery of an escape plan to escape from Korydallos prison by Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, Imprisoned Members Cell; the subsequent manhunt against comrade Aggeliki Spyropoulo and her detention with relatives and friends of CCF comrades, and finally, the hunger strike for over 30 days in which they put their lives at risk.
It also has a prologue by CCF, imprisoned members cell.
We are interested that the experiences of CCF`s escape attempt and subsequent hunger strike could be transmitted as an expression of anarchic ability to build our offense in an autonomous way, as a part of our defense and dissemination of every indomitable and antagonist attitude against Power.
The most of the text were taken from the related anarchic webs.
Also, this book has a Spanish version, with translations made by us and other comrades.
Without another word, we share this book with you.

New Danish-language anarchist site.
The goal is to create a small part of the needed infrastructure for a
living and developing anarchist tendency in danish-speaking territory.
To that end we publish translations, texts, news, propaganda, etc. of
relevance to anarchists.
Archive of translations and ready-to-print pamphlets and other
propaganda is under construction.
Groups and individuals can send their texts for publication.
The name means “gasoline on the fire”… It is an expression which
means escalating a situation of conflict or adding fuel to the anger.

Anarchist gathering in solidarity with Evi Statiri, who has undertaken hunger strike since September 14th against fear and injustice: Wednesday, September 30th 2015, at 18:00 outside the General State Hospital of Nikaia in Piraeus. — Assembly in solidarity with Evi Statiri (in Athens).
In the early hours of Sunday, September 27th 2015, when Evi Statiri entered the 14th day of her hunger strike, she suffered severe hypoglycemia and presented with symptoms such as intense pallor, orthostatic hypotension and tachycardia on exertion. Additionally, she has experienced malaise, palpitations when making the slightest effort and when standing, and cold intolerance, often accompanied by chills. Later that day, she was urgently transferred from Koridallos prison to the General State Hospital of Nikaia in Piraeus, having lost 11% of her initial body weight.

Vlad Lenko is an anti-fascist from Ivatsevichy. On December 27, 2014 he
was arrested for a fight with neo-nazis, which occurred on the 23rd of
December of the same year. He is charged under Art. 339.2 (hooliganism
in a group of people) and 147.2 (causing grievous bodily harm). The
court sentenced Vlad to a six-year period of imprisonment in a maximum
security colony. It is necessary to collect a large sum to appeal the
verdict, as well as to pay the victim a compensation ordered by a court
in the amount of 1000 euro. There is the hope to reduce the period by
half. Please, everyone, do not stay on the sidelines, help our mate in a
difficult moment, only together we can help him. Also Vlad needs moral
support, and later we’ll publish a postal address of the correctional
institution.

COMUNICADO:
Read the rest of this entry »

It is a longstanding as well as an infamous tactic of the State — particularly of the police-judicial mechanism — to use fabricated charges against relatives so as to hold them hostage and put pressure on fighters and political prisoners. It was done in 2002 [against Angeliki Sotiropoulou, wife of 17N prisoner Dimitris Koufontinas], it was done in 2010 [against Marie Beraha, wife of Revolutionary Struggle prisoner Kostas Gournas], and it was done again in March 2015 [against Evi Statiri, wife of CCF prisoner Gerasimos Tsakalos, but also against Athena Tsakalou, mother of the Tsakalos brothers]. This is because the repressive policy applied against imprisoned members of armed organisations is an ongoing process of political extermination by any means.
After its capitulation on February 20th, the SYRIZA-led government was faced with the first class confrontation — that is, the hunger strike of political prisoners during Spring — and was compelled to vote favorably — among others – on an amendment that theoretically opened the way for the relatives of CCF members to be released. Today, after being refused her liberation six times by judicial councils, Evi Statiri, companion of an imprisoned member of the organisation, is still in prison. Her case is the clearest proof, not only of the acceptance of a state of emergency surrounding the memorandum by the government of the Left, but also of the strict application of a state of exception for political prisoners.
For those in society who had the clarity and determination to approach the ‘no’ vote in the referendum in a class manner and to oppose every memorandum, though without being able to take the next step forward, the question of an alternative way other than the one of delegation or relinquishment, which all the bourgeois parliamentary forces are charting, is more pressing than ever. And this is no other way than struggle and solidarity. Evi’s way…

No Prison – No State!
Anti-Authoritarian days against the prison society in Hamburg
8th-11th October, 2015
Whilst we are working, consuming, functioning… they hold the cage we`re
living in!
Life under democratic regimes are dominated by a continuous process of
adaption to the problems and developments of the system.
The state permanently reflects and improves itself, trying to keep up a
civic discourse through offering so-called alternatives and reforms.
This is supposed to destroy the basis for unrest and resistance and to
many it legitimates strong repressive answers to such rebellious
behavior.
This phenomenon can be found in almost every aspect of modern life. The
illusion of participation is one of their strongest weapons, and
together with the ongoing expansion of so called rights, democracy is
developing towards a system, in which the ruled are actively
participating in their own oppression.

With this call out we invite individuals, organizations, collectives to participate in or support our fight for liberation, liberation not only of the Kurds for their land, but first and foremost liberation from the power of the state and capitalism and of patriarchy. We invite you to come to Rojava, Canton Cizire and Kobani.
Rojava (Western Kurdistan) is a piece of land largely freed from the presence of ISIS but under embargo: an embargo implemented against us not only from Turkey but also from Iraqi Kurdistan, whose regime does not appreciate the social changes taking place here. This embargo limits the availability of basic necessities, but also on the shortage of medicines and medical equipment needed to treat the injured. Here there are thousands of martyrs, of people killed by war: many have lost their family and home.
Our region lives since four years in an intensive atmosphere of war and great popular resistance. The attacks of authoritarian forces of modern capitalism backed up by regional reactionary forces which are deployed in the region, and are practically embodied in extremist religious organizations with its different names, which can be summed up in ISIS, is not only an armed attack which is supported by all technical modern means against the forces of resistance, such as women, youth and the forces of protection, but it is an intellectual and ideological attack that represents the peak of authoritarian and monopolistic patriarchal mentality which is anti-women, youth and the whole society. It is an international war, all hegemonic powers are directly or indirectly playing their part, all because they want influence in this region. Read the rest of this entry »

Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, a 64 year-old Lebanese communist, was arrested in Lyon (France) on 24 October 1984 and sentenced to life imprisonment for actions for which the Lebanese Armed Revolutionary Factions (LARF) claimed responsibility.
In 1978 he fought with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) to push back the Israeli invasion of the Lebanon.
He was due for release in 1999, and keeping him in jail responds to a political decision on the part of the French State, with the backing of Israel and the United States. The latest request for parole for Georges Ibrahim Abdallah filed in 2014 was once again turned down. But we will not be deterred by this decision; it will only make us all the more determined! We will not be silenced by this decision; we will make our voice heard! Read the rest of this entry »
