Bayonetta 2 - Walkthrough Part 18(FINAL) - Chapter 16 Final Boss: Aesir *3rd Climax* READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR WALKTHROUGH, CHAPTER AND VERSE INFORMATION. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part 18(FINAL) of my Walkthrough for Bayonetta 2 on WiiU! The walkthrough is played on 3rd Climax mode on a NG file. All cutscenes will be recorded with English VA's and subs. Chapters will be completed with all/most hidden verses found, there are still a few I don't know about at this point in time though, but any missed ones will be dealt with through the annotation system or I'll mention it in the description. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHAPTER INFO --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Woooo! We made it all the way to the final chapter! -We start off with a neat little on-rails shooting section, reminiscent of the Space Harrier part in Bayo 1. It's far shorter though, thank god! -If you have the Star Fox costume equipped on this part, the jet turns into an arwing, and you get a Star Fox 64 reticule and everything! -Anyways, Aesir is a 2-stage fight. First his human form(prophet), which is pretty much identical to the previous fight with him. Except you're not in flight and can use launchers, panther and crow etc. -2nd Phase is his God form. He becomes much more of a threat, he's way faster, but most of his attacks resemble those of Prophet. -Throughout the fight he'll summon different contraptions. The first are the bomber planes, if you dodge the bombs, you get a huge amount of witch time and can pummel Aesir for quite some time. -The 2nd one is the satellite, which will destroy the platform you're on and force you into flight mode for the rest of the fight. -The third is an even bigger satellite, but you get a QTE prompt and can deal a chunk of damage by completing it. -It's possible to get 2-3 witch time activations when he summons the little orbs. Even when they're not yet in flight they have a hitbox around them which you can use to get witch time, manually get close and dodge while near one. Then once witch time ends, they'll most likely immediately fire off, dodge again to activate witch time, then dodge a 3rd time if you see any other orbs still around you. You need to know how long Witch Time lasts, but it allows you to deal some good damage on Aesir. -The final part of the fight is Aesir being combo fodder, do with him as you please! -And then we get a section akin to the "SMASH GOD INTO THE SUN" part from Bayo 1, except it's not as grand...and it's also very easy. Ah well. -And then we have the ending of the game! This game is so much fun, I hope everyone who doesn't have the game yet, but has a Wii U picks this up day 1. You won't regret it! -So I'm pretty bad at the credits sequences, especially the Masked Lumen one is...REALLY hard, I don't know how to get platinum on it, let alone PP. Seems a bit luck based? You need Witch time to do anything so you better hope he does lots of attacks instead of dodging around/not attacking. -I muted the poledancing credits scene, because I'm afraid of copyright strikes. Moon River(the original) plays here. -I also show off all unlockables I got, the only ones missing are Jeanne and Rosa, which are account-bound and were thus already unlocked. Jeanne for beating 2nd climax, Rosa for 3rd. -The unlockables I got are pretty much 90% of the unlockables in the game, you get a lot of them up-front instead of Bayo 1 where it was harder to unlock them. -Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed the walkthrough! I'm not sure what to do next...I want to play Bayo 1 on the Wii U as well, but I also want to a full playthrough as Jeanne.
