Tirana 
i/tɨˈrɑːnə/ (indefinite form in Albanian: Tiranë, in the region sub-dialect of Gheg Albanian: Tirona) is the capital and the largest city of Albania. Modern Tirana was founded as an Ottoman town in 1614 by Sulejman Bargjini, a local ruler from Mullet, although the area has been continuously inhabited since antiquity. Tirana became Albania's capital city in 1920 and has a population of 400,000 , with metro area population of 763,634 . The city is host to public institutions and private universities, and is the center of the political, economical, and cultural life of the country.
The Municipality of Tirana is located at (41.33°N, 19.82°E) in Tirana District, Tirana County on the river Ishëm, about 32 kilometers (20 mi) inland. Tirana's average altitude is 110 meters (360 ft) above sea level and its highest point measures 1,828 m (5,997.38 ft) at Mali me Gropa. The city is mostly surrounded by hills, with Dajti Mountain on the East and a slight valley opening on the North-West overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the distance. The Tiranë river also runs through the city, whereas the Lanë river is a brook. The city borders the surrounding municipalities of Paskuqan, Dajt, Farkë, Vaqarr, Kashar, and Kamëz. It also contains a total of four artificial lakes: the Tirana Artificial Lake around which was built the Big Park, Paskuqani Lake, Farka Lake, and Tufina Lake. Tirana is on the same parallel as Naples, Madrid, Istanbul, and New York, and on the same meridian as Budapest and Kraków.

Die 3te Station unseres Balkan Roadtrip heißt Tirana und ist die Hauptstadt von Albanien! Wir haben uns in 2 Tagen die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Tirana angesehen und zeigen euch welche Spots einen Besuch wert sind!

Die Hauptstadt von Albanien ist sehr zentral gelegen und mit dem Bus von Skopje in zirka 8h zu erreichen. Neben den Sehenswürdigkeiten in Tirana selbst sollte man unbedingt einen Abstecher auf den Dajti Berg machen um eine grandiose Aussicht über die Stadt genießen zu können.
Unsere Erkundungstour führte uns zu den folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten in Tirana:

A slice of life living in Tirana, Albania. This is my last day unfortunately and go about the business that people usually do before the leave somewhere cool and affordable. Stock up on stuff, eat lots of good food and further explore the area. Tirana has a bad rep like most of Albania and from what I experienced, it's totally unwarranted. I had a fantastic time trying a bit of living in Tirana and living in Albania in general.
I say living in as opposed to visiting because I didn't really do much touristy stuff compared to just go about my day to day life while I was there. Tirana and Albania in general are places I'd like to return to one day during the summer to get another taste; cool spot.

This is a video I made with my friend Alex right after arriving in Tirana on the bus from Saranda. It was a Saturday night so we decided to see what the nightlife in Tirana was all about and guess what? It was pretty sweet. The drinks were beyond reasonable, the people were beyond friendly, lots of people spoke English and I didn't once sense any aggression aka a good spot to enjoy yourself. We mainly hung out at Libraria, Murphy's Irish Pub and Mumja which was the cool club at the end. You'll want to go to the "Block" or "Bloku" as they call it in Tirana. Nightlife in Tirana, Albania

This is a video I made with my friend Alex right after arriving in Tirana on the bus from Saranda. It was a Saturday night so we decided to see what the nightlife in Tirana was all about and guess what? It was pretty sweet. The drinks were beyond reasonable, the people were beyond friendly, lots of people spoke English and I didn't once sense any aggression aka a good spot to enjoy yourself. We mainly hung out at Libraria, Murphy's Irish Pub and Mumja which was the cool club at the end.
You'll want to go to the "Block" or "Bloku" as they call it in Tirana.
