Part 1 Compilation Flooding in Charleston,SC as Hurricane Joaquin moves away from East Coast
About 22 million Americans across the East Coast were under flood watches Saturday as a "once in 200 years rainfall event" started soaking the Carolinas — with the worst yet to come.
As much as a foot of rain fell overnight in Wilmington, North Carolina, and numerous water rescues were reported.
"Our goal constantly is to be overprepared and underwhelmed," North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory told reporters Saturday morning.
South Carolina could get more rain in three days than it normally does during the entire fall, The Associated Press reported. Saturday was the third consecutive day of the relentless onslaught of rain, with a plume of precipitation expected to last through the weekend and only start to let up on Monday.
Officials on Saturday reported 17,000 power outages across North Carolina. So far, one resident had been killed in the weather: A woman driving on Interstate 95 died when a tree fell on her car Thursday.
In South Carolina, more than 3,000 power outages were reported. Heavy rain was expected to pound major metro areas, including Charlotte and the cities of Charleston and Columbia.
"We're more concerned about what could happen tonight if there's another wave," Greenville, South Carolina, Mayor Knox White told NBC News. "If it gets worse, that could be another story."

FULL GRAPHIC VIDEO Of S.C Police Officer SHOOTING UNARMED Black Man 8 TIMES In The BACK!!
WASHINGTON — A white police officer in North Charleston, S.C., was charged with murder on Tuesday after a video surfaced showing him shooting and killing an apparently unarmed black man in the back while he ran away.
The officer, Michael T. Slager, 33, had said he feared for his life because the man took his stun gun in a scuffle after a traffic stop on Saturday. A video, however, shows the officer firing eight times as the man — Walter L. Scott, 50 — fled.
The North Charleston mayor announced the state charges at a news conference Tuesday evening.
The shooting comes on the heels of high-profile incidents of police officers using lethal force in New York, Cleveland, Ferguson, Mo., and elsewhere around the country. The deaths have sparked a national debate over whether police are too quick to use force, particularly in cases involving black men.
A White House task force has recommended a host of changes to the nation’s police policies, and President Obama dispatched Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., to cities around the country to try to improve police relations with minority neighborhoods.
North Charleston is the state’s third-largest city with a population of about 100,000. African-Americans make up about 47 percent of residents, and whites account for about 37 percent. The city police department is about 80 percent white, according to data collected by the Justice Department in 2007, the most recent period available.
“When you’re wrong, you’re wrong,” Mayor Keith Summey said of the shooting during the news conference. “And if you make a bad decision, don’t care if you’re behind the shield or just a citizen on the street, you have to live by that decision.”
The shooting unfolded after Officer Slager stopped the driver of a Mercedes-Benz with a broken taillight, according to police reports. Mr. Scott ran away, and Officer Slager chased him into a grassy lot that abuts a muffler shop. He fired his Taser, an electronic stun gun, but it did not stop Mr. Scott, according to police reports.
Moments after the struggle, Officer Slager reported on his radio, “Shots fired and the subject is down. He took my Taser,” according to police reports.
But the video, which was taken by a bystander and provided to The New York Times by Mr. Scott’s lawyer, presents a different account. The video begins in the vacant lot, apparently moments after Officer Slager fired his Taser. Wires, which carry the electrical current from the stun gun, appear to be extending from Mr. Scott’s body as the two men tussle and Mr. Scott turns to run.

Bill O'Reilly To Todd Rutherford: Fox News Justifies Brutal Crimes Against Black Americans?
Bill O'Reilly To Todd Rutherford Fox News Justifies Brutal Crimes Against Black Americans? Todd Rutherford, a South Carolina state legislator and a friend of one of the victims, spoke out on bill o'reilly on fox news about how “the rhetoric in South Carolina, the rhetoric nationwide, has led people to believe… that it’s okay to walk into a church and take nine lives.”
Rutherford spoke to bill o'reilly about the Charleston church shooting and the death of his friend Reverend Clementa Pinckney.
He said that South Carolina is part of the problem because there’s no hate crimes law and the Confederate flag flies at the capitol. Rutherford referred to networks using “coded language” before calling out one network in particular:
“[The gunman] hears that because he watches the news and he watches things like Fox News, where they talk about things that they call news, but they’re really not. They use that coded language, they use hate speech, they talk about the president as if he’s not the president, they talk about churchgoers that they’re not really churchgoers. And that’s what this young man acted on. That’s why you can walk into a church and treat people like animals when they’re really human beings.”

Donald Trump sat down with Chris Wallace on Fox New Sunday for a “huuuuuuuge” two-part interview. Not too long after, Wallace discussed the New York real estate mogul’s talking points (or lack thereof) with Washington Post opinion writer Charles Lane. His thoughts? “None of it made sense.” That’s one of the larger conclusions you can draw about the interview, especially since Trump didn’t adequately answer most of Wallace’s questions. Instead, he refused to give specific answers and emphasized his desire to remain “unpredictable” during the campaign. “Let’s do a lightening round. Quick questions, quick answers,” said Wallace. “Would you be wi

Donald Trump returned to Fox News tonight, effectively ending his boycott of the network, and faced a somewhat combative Bill O’Reilly, who told him he needs to be more “mature.” After O’Reilly had on two contributors critical of Trump, The Donald lashed out on Twitter, called him “negative,” and told him to stop having “Trump haters” on. This and other less-than-glowing coverage led Trump to announce a Fox News boycott that started last week and ended today. O’Reilly’s criticized Trump since then, but when Trump ended his boycott tonight, Trump immediately told O’Reilly he’s always considered him a fair person. The first segment was solely p

Donald Trump: 'Guns or No Guns, It Doesn't Matter' Donald Trump responds to President Obama's comments about the mass shooting in Oregon and points the finger at the problem of mental health. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, when asked if he believes the Middle East would be better today if Moammar Gadhafi of Libya and Saddam Hussein of Iraq were still in power, responded, "It's not even a contest." He related the situations in both of those countries with what is currently happening in Syria and seemed to endorse a stronger President Bashar Assad, even while admitting that he is "probably a bad guy." "You can make the case, if you look at Libya, look at what we did there — it's a mess — if you look at Saddam Hussein with Iraq, look what we did there — it's a mess — it's [Syria] going to be same thing," the real estate mogul said.

Donald Trump, when asked if he believes the Middle East would be better today if Moammar Gadhafi of Libya and Saddam Hussein of Iraq were still in power, responded, “It’s not even a contest.” Meet The Press This is a sentiment that Trump took with him on Saturday to a rally in Franklin, Tennessee where he recalled our strategy with arming rebels during the days of Qaddafi's reign. Trump told about 1,500 in an event hall: "Then the rebels killed our ambassador in the worst way, what happened to him. And three other people, and many other people by the way. Okay? Remember that." In regards to Iraq, Trump echoed a familiar line from his campaign: "Don't forget, ISIS came out of Iraq," Trump recalled, calling the terror organization "the leftovers that didn't get taken care of." He also told the Franklin audience that during the time of Saddam Hussein's "vicious" rule in Iraq "there were no terrorists in Iraq." "You know what he used to do to terrorists?" Trump polled the crowd. "A one day trial and shoot him…and the one day trial usually lasted five minutes, right? There was no terrorism then."
And in light of recent bombing campaigns by Russian forces in Syria, Trump says that he likes "that Putin is bombin' the hell out of ISIS" not because he trusts him, but because he realizes that Putin "doesn't want ISIS coming into Russia." Trump still predicts that Putin will "get bogged down there" much like many other nations who have interceded in Middle Eastern affairs. "Everybody that's gone to the Middle East has had nothing but problems."

But should Trump's policy positions earn him anything but favorability in the polls, he seemed comfortable telling Chuck Todd that he'd be just as happy back in his business. "I'm not a masochist...If I were doing poorly, if I saw myself going down, if you would stop calling me because you no longer have any interest in Trump because 'he has no chance,' I'd go back to my business." Trump said that when he looks at the state of the Republican field at large there are some hopefuls who "should not be running any longer" because "they're not gonna make it."
"If I felt I was in that position, I'd get out," he told NBC News. "But in all fairness, I think I'm in the exact opposite position right now." NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist polling has Trump at the top of the latest polls out of Iowa and New Hampshire.

Donald Trump Fox News Sunday FULL Interview
“Would you be willing to use the debt limit and risk the possibility of the country going into default to get more spending cuts?”
“I would use the debt limit… I don’t want to say… I want to be unpredictable because we need unpredictability,” Trump rambled. “Everything is so predictable with our county.”Donald Trump told chris wallace on "fox news sunday" that his immigration policies would have prevented the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks from taking place. trump says to wallace “I’m so tough on illegal immigration, 9/11 wouldn’t have happened if I was president,” Trump said on “Fox News Sunday.” The Republican front-runner has made criticisms of former President George W. Bill O'Reilly Donald Trump FULL Interview. Trump ENDS Fox News Boycott
The first segment was solely policy-focused, but the second segment was all about Trump’s relationship with the press and O’Reilly specifically. O’Reilly asked, “Am I fair to say that in order for you to win the Republican nomination that you’re going to have to change your style and be a bit kinder and more mature?”
Donld Trump sat with Bill O'Reilly Tonight ending his boycott on fox news. Bill O'Reilly asked Donald Trump tonight about his policy positions, including how he would deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia's growing presence in Syria. Trump said that in terms of leadership, he would give Putin an 'A,' while Obama isn't doing very well. He said that the U.S. invested trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives in the Middle East, and Putin is now taking over what we started. "He, frankly, wants to fight ISIS, and I think that's a wonderful thing," Trump said. "If he wants to fight ISIS, let him fight ISIS. Why do we always have to do everything?" O'Reilly said the downside of Putin fighting ISIS is that Russia will keep Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in power and then effectively control Syria. "We have given the Middle East to Putin and Iran, and they will run it for the foreseeable future," O'Reilly said. "I believe that's true," Trump said, pointing to incompetent U.S. leadership. Watch more from the "Factor" interview above.
Bill O'Reilly asked Donald Trump tonight about how he's treated by the media and what changes he might have to make to his public persona to secure the GOP nomination. O'Reilly acknowledged that Trump won't get a "fair shake" from the mainstream media, but he asked if Trump needs to change his style and become "a bit kinder and more mature." Trump disagreed with the word "mature," and said the 2016 isn't about being nice, but who's the most competent candidate. O'Reilly noted that Trump recently called his fellow GOP contender Marco Rubio a "clown" and said that type of name-calling isn't presidential. Trump said he's a counter-puncher and he simply reacted when Rubio attacked him on his policies. "He was a member of the gang of eight, which was a disaster, he was totally weak on immigration and, by the way, he hasn't changed," Trump said of the Florida senator. "That's fine," O'Reilly said. "It's the 'clown' stuff that's not fine."
"Well, OK, I can understand that," Trump replied.
wn.com/Bill O'Reilly Donald Trump Full Interview. Trump Ends Fox News Boycott
Bill O'Reilly Donald Trump Interview. Trump Slams GOP Field: I Don't Have a Lot of Respect for ...
bill o'reilly speaks to donald trump on him running for president. tonight in an O'Reilly Factor exclusive, Trump explains why he's the one Americans should trust to right the ship. Billionaire Donald Trump announced today that he's throwing his hat in the ring to run for president. O’Reilly Factor will feature an extensive interview with Trump that is expected to cover a wide variety of topics. And, according to some advance excerpts provided by Fox, Trump is holding nothing back. Trump has nothing nice to say about any of his fellow 2016 candidates, whether they are on the left or right side of the political spectrum.
“Well I don’t have a lot of respect for many of them, but yes I do a couple,” Trump said of the 2016 field, without naming any names. “But I will tell you I’ve been dealing with politicians all my life. They are all talk, no action.” Trump sat down with Bill O'Reilly for his first post-announcement interview and discussed a variety of topics, including how he would defeat ISIS.
"I would find our proper general. I would find the Patton or the MacArthur," Trump said. "I would hit them so hard your head would spin."
Trump also weighed in on the Iran nuclear talks and asserted that the biggest problem the world faces right now is maniacs controlling nuclear weapons.
"Obama wants to play golf instead of deal with people," Trump said. "Part of being a leader is to get everybody in line."
What would you do about Vladimir Putin? O'Reilly asked.
"I would be willing to bet I would have a great relationship with Putin," Trump said, adding that the Russian president has no respect for Obama. "You can't have everybody hating you. The whole world hates us."
O'Reilly noted that during his announcement, Trump promised to build a wall along the southern border and make Mexico pay for it. "The Factor" host stated that there's no way that they will pay for it.
"You have to let me handle that," Trump said. "They will pay for the wall, and the wall will go up. And Mexico will start behaving. Mexico is not our friend."
As for his fellow GOP presidential candidates, Trump said, "I don't have a lot of respect for many of them."
"They're all talk. They're no action. And they're totally controlled by their donors and by the lobbyists ... If we have another politician, this country's going down."
Stay tuned for the video.
On Jeb Bush specifically, Trump added, “I’m not a big fan of Jeb Bush. The last thing we need is another Bush.”
As for Hillary Clinton, Trump said he laughs when he sees her talk about income inequality. “That can be beaten. That can be beaten. All you have to do is take a look at her donor list,” he said, admitting that he could lose the general election for attacking her as a woman. “Maybe I don’t win for that reason,” he said. “But maybe I do.”
But while Trump had plenty of negative things to say about the Americans he is running against, he was surprisingly genial on the topic of Russia President Vladimir Putin.
“Putin has no respect for our president whatsoever. He’s got a tremendous popularity in Russia, they love what he’s doing, they love what he represents,” Trump said. “I was over in Moscow two years ago and I will tell you – you can get along with those people and get along with them well. You can make deals with those people. Obama can’t.”
“I would be willing to bet I would have a great relationship with Putin,” he added. “It’s about leadership.”
Finally, Trump laid out his unique plan to defeat ISIS. “I say that you can defeat ISIS by taking their wealth,” he said. “Take back the oil. Once you go over and take back that oil they have nothing. You bomb the hell out of them and then you encircle it, and then you go in. And you let Mobil go in, and you let our great oil companies go in. Once you take that oil they have nothing left.”
“I would hit them so hard,” he continued. “I would find you a proper general, I would find the Patton or MacArthur I would hit them so hard your head would spin.”
“There’s nobody bigger or better at the military than I am,” Trump declared with typical understatement.
We will post the full video of O’Reilly’s interview with Trump as soon as it becomes available.

On "Hannity" tonight, Donald Trump stood by his statement that as president, he would ship out all the Syrian refugees who are brought into America. Trump pointed out that the U.S. already has too many problems, including a multi-trillion dollar deficit. "Now, we're going to start taking 200,000 people. We have no idea where they come from. They could be ISIS. It could be a plot," Trump said. Trump explained that during a speech in New Hampshire, he said that he would notify any refugee coming to the U.S. that he will ship them out. He said that some critics have responded to that statement by asking how he plans to do that. "Well, they’re shipping them in, why can’t we ship them out?" Trump said. "If we take 200,000 people - and they could very well be ISIS, we have no idea who they are - we are absolutely insane. This country is going insane." Trump also weighed in on the increasing Russian aggression in Syria. Earlier this week, Trump urged caution by the U.S. and argued that it's a "wonderful thing" that Russia wants to fight ISIS in Syria. Trump told "Hannity" that the U.S. doesn't aim for victory anymore in its military engagements, whether it's Iraq, Afghanistan or fighting ISIS. "We used to be the country that never lost a war. Now, we never win a war," Trump said. "We haven't had the right leaders. We haven't had the right thinking or thought process. Hopefully, if I win, that will change and it'll change quickly." The GOP contender stood by his stance that he doesn't want the U.S. to be bogged down in Syria, which he said could now happen to Russia.

Donald Trump hit back at his critics on "Media Buzz" today, saying that he "can't apologize" for making truthful statements about illegal immigrants and Mexico. Howard Kurtz asked the 2016 presidential candidate if he will apologize for the controversial statements he made about illegal immigrants and Mexico.
"I don't have to say that," Trump replied. "In terms of the border, it's a disgrace. Either we have a border or we don't have a country."
"I can never apologize for the truth, I don't mind apologizing for things, but I can't apologize for the truth," he added. "I said tremendous crime is coming across, everybody knows that's true, and it's happening all the time." Trump proclaimed that he's not a racist.
"I'm number two and I'm going up, people take me very seriously," Trump stated. "Frankly, I'm the one that's going to bring back health to the country. I'm going to make America great again; politicians aren't going to do that."
Trump said that he thinks his poll numbers will increase, because some Americans agree with his stance on immigration.

'Donald Trump Interview CNN'' Donald Trump Interview Chris Cuomo' 'Donald Trump CNN Interview' CNN Chris Cuomo takes on Clinton, Bush and the Pope Donald Trump Interview on CNN Donald Trump takes on Clinton, Bush and the Pope CNN Special Report: The Donald Trump interview" at 9 p.m. ET for CNN's Chris Cuomo's full sit-down interview with Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.
New York (CNN)Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump took on an array of subjects and political figures during a lengthy interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo on Wednesday, including Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush, Pope Francis and even Caroline Kennedy.
Asked first about his standing in a recent CNN/ORC poll, Trump said the controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton's email use is "devastating," and that it's not surprising that he came within 6 points of the Democrat in a head-to-head polling match-up.
"I think it's devastating for the election, but I think her bigger problem is not the election. I think her bigger problem is going to be the criminal (problem)," Trump said. Immigration
Trump isn't backing down from his call to revoke automatic citizenship for children born in the U.S. to undocumented immigrant parents despite concerns he'll turn Hispanic voters off to the GOP.
"I have to do the right thing," the mogul said in an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo Wednesday, when asked about his immigration plan being under fire.
Trump has called for building a wall along the border with Mexico, revoking the right to citizenship to children born the U.S. if their parents aren't documented, and for deporting undocumented immigrants and then allowing "good ones" to re-enter the country.
He has been hit with criticism from some Republicans while taking and heavy fire from the left.
He even took flak as he sat down for the interview with CNN in Trump Tower, when an onlooker in the lobby of the building shouted: "You will never win the Latino vote. The Latino (voters) don't like you."

Trump didn't respond to the heckler, and after the interview finished taping, two people watching from the crowd told Trump they were Mexican-American and would gladly support him, which he relayed to Cuomo.
"You know, this country is so politically correct. Nobody wants to take a stance on anything," Trump told Cuomo. "Now they like to use the word undocumented because it's more political -- I don't use that word. They're illegal immigrants. They came over illegally. Some are wonderful people, and they've been here for a while. They've got to go out. They've got to leave."
He did say there were "a lot of good ones" among immigrants, and that he would try to bring them back.
"These people -- the really good ones, and we have some great ones -- we're going to try and expedite so they can come back," he said. "But they're going to come back legally."

The candidate also reiterated that he believes in changing birthright citizenship -- which grants automatic citizenship to all children born in the U.S. -- though he said he wouldn't need to amend the Constitution to do it.
"No. 1, the 14th Amendment is very questionable as to whether or not somebody can come over, have a baby and immediately that baby is a citizen. OK?" Trump said. "Amending is too big a deal. It's going to take -- it'll be two terms. I'd be in my second term or my eighth year by the time -- assuming everything went smoothly. ... I believe you can win it legally."
He said people can't be allowed to just "walk over" the border to give birth.
"You have people on the border and in one day they walk over, have a baby. And now all of a sudden we're supposed to pay the baby ... medical, Social Security," Trump said.
Clinton email scandal
While he said Clinton is not his "focus right now," he predicted she would struggle to get over the bad headlines generated by the investigation into her private server and the possible transmission of classified information in her private email, as well as the money she has raked in for speeches since leaving office.
"I think that Hillary's going to have a hard time being in the election based on what's going on with the emails, the servers, maybe even the speeches," Trump said. "I think it's going to be a very hard thing for her to overcome."
