Chakma Folk Dance at Xperience Northeast Bangalore 2017 | CSAK
This is a Karbi (Hills Tribe of Northeast India) traditional harvest festival song. So this is our version of the song performed live in a folk fusion style, as we put it forward to you, we hope you guys like it.
My first attempt to cover a song n so here I am with my fav song....Thank you Albert E. Brumley for such a beautiful composit....Hope you guys like it.
Daniel Engty : Guitars, Bamhum, Dengdong, Tribal percussion, Lead vocals. Vishal J.Singh : Guitars, General MIDI drums, Latin percussion. Ashok Kemprai : Electric Bass. Jambili…. Name derived from “Jambili Athon” a symbol or a totem that represents the five major clans of karbi community. Likewise to the band it is about being representative to the people who are voiceless and deprived of their legitimate rights to self determine. The songs talk about contemporary issues of the society that needs immediate justice and attention. Music…. Jambili don’t confine itself to any particular genre of music .It is a progressive fusion of karbi folk music with all the other musical style till jazz & heavy metal… since the band sings of freedom it believes in practicing freedom in its music too. ...
dis video was made within three days of discussion.. idea exchange & working it out ....first attempt so just freak out for the heck of it... songs named Ove 4m my album Kaike thanx .. Love, Peace & Regards...Daniel
CSAK presents the most awaited "Chakma Dance" performed at Xperience Northeast Fest 2017, Bangalore .
You are here alone again
In your sweet insanity
All too calm, you hide yourself from reality
Do you call it solitude? Do you call it liberty?
When all the world turns away to leave you lonely
The fields are filled with desires
All voices crying for freedom
But all in vain they will fade away
There's only you to answer you, forever
In blinded mind you are singing
A glorious hallelujah
The distant flutter of angels
They're all too far, too far to reach for you
I am here alone again
In my sweet serenity
Hoping you will ever find me in any place
I will call it solitude when all my songs fade in vain
