Talk on Corners is the second album by Irish band The Corrs, released on 20 October 1997 in Ireland and 16 April 1998 in the United States. The name of the album is derived from a line from the album's song "Queen of Hollywood". After its release, songs from this album were to dominate their live set for a long time to come and through the biggest growth period of the band's career. During this album's long reign, they worked solidly with very little time off and gained a lot of exposure with TV appearances and tours. Their next studio album took nearly 3 years to materialise. In between was a live 'unplugged' album which introduced only a handful of new songs. Hence their continuing reliance on existing material, some of which became subject to rearranging or remixing along the way.
The Corrs are an Irish band that combines rock with traditional Celtic Irish folk themes within their music. The group consists of the Corr siblings, Andrea (lead vocals, tin whistle); Sharon (violin, vocals); Caroline (drums, percussion, piano, bodhrán, vocals) and Jim (guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals). They are from Dundalk, Co. Louth, in Ireland.
The Corrs have released six studio albums and numerous singles, which have reached platinum in many countries.Talk on Corners, their most successful album to date, reached multi-platinum status in Australia and in the UK it was the highest selling album of 1998. The band is one of only a handful of acts who have held the top two positions simultaneously in the UK album charts, with Talk on Corners at number one and Forgiven, Not Forgotten at number two. The latter was the third highest selling album in Australia in 1996, behind Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill and Celine Dion's Falling Into You. Their third studio album, In Blue, went to number one in seventeen countries.
A television advertisement (variously called a television commercial, commercial or ad in American English, and known in British English as an advert) is a span of television programming produced and paid for by an organization, which conveys a message, typically to market a product or service. Advertising revenue provides a significant portion of the funding for most privately owned television networks. The vast majority of television advertisements today consist of brief advertising spots, ranging in length from a few seconds to several minutes (as well as program-length infomercials). Advertisements of this sort have been used to promote a wide variety of goods, services and ideas since the beginning of television.
The effects of television advertising upon the viewing public (and the effects of mass media in general) have been the subject of philosophical discourse by such luminaries as Marshall McLuhan. The viewership of television programming, as measured by companies such as Nielsen Media Research, is often used as a metric for television advertisement placement, and consequently, for the rates charged to advertisers to air within a given network, television program, or time of day (called a "daypart").

Opened my eyes today
And I knew there's something different
Saw you in a brand new way
Like the clouds had somehow lifted
And if yesterday I heard
Myself saying these words
I would swear it was a lie
I don't know why..., but suddenly I'm falling
(na na na, na na na na na)
Was I so blind...
I was loving you all the time
Now I'm hopelessly addicted
Helplessly attracted
I'll make a wish this day
And I'll send it to the heavens
That we will always stay
Entwined like this forever
And though the world may change
Coz nothing stays the same
I know we will survive
I don't know why..., but suddenly I'm falling
(na na na, na na na na na)
Was I so blind...
I was loving you all the time
Now I'm hopelessly addicted
Naturally we acted
I don't know why..., but suddenly I'm falling
(na na na, na na na na na)
I was so blind...
I was loving you all the time
And now I'm
Hopelessly addicted
Helplessly attracted
(na na na, na na na na na)
Chemically reacted
I was loving you all the time
Hopelessly addicted
Helplessly attracted
Chemically reacted
Naturally we acted
Yeah, Ohh...
