Synergy is two or more things functioning together to produce a result not independently obtainable. The term synergy comes from the Greek word synergia συνεργία from synergos, συνεργός, meaning "working together".
In the natural world, synergistic phenomena are ubiquitous, ranging from physics (for example, the different combinations of quarks that produce protons and neutrons) to chemistry (a popular example is water, a compound of hydrogen and oxygen), to the cooperative interactions among the genes in genomes, the division of labor in bacterial colonies, the synergies of scale in multi-cellular organisms, as well as the many different kinds of synergies produced by socially-organized groups, from honeybee colonies to wolf packs and human societies. Even the tools and technologies that are widespread in the natural world represent important sources of synergistic effects. The tools that enabled early hominins to become systematic big-game hunters is a primordial human example.
Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic (pronunciation: /ˈjæŋkəvɪk/; born October 23, 1959) is an American singer-songwriter, music producer, accordionist, actor, comedian, writer, satirist, and parodist. Yankovic is known for his humorous songs that make light of popular culture and that often parody specific songs by contemporary musical acts. Since his first-aired comedy song in 1976, he has sold more than 12 million albums (as of 2007), recorded more than 150 parody and original songs, and has performed more than 1,000 live shows. His works have earned him three Grammy Awards among nine nominations, four gold records, and six platinum records in the United States. Yankovic's first top ten Billboard album (Straight Outta Lynwood) and single ("White & Nerdy") were both released in 2006, nearly three decades into his career.
Yankovic's success comes in part from his effective use of music video to further parody popular culture, the song's original artist, and the original music videos themselves, scene-for-scene in some cases. He directed later videos himself and went on to direct for other artists including Ben Folds, Hanson, Black Crowes, and The Presidents of the United States of America. In addition to recording his albums, Yankovic wrote and starred in the film, UHF, and television show, The Weird Al Show. He has also made guest appearances on many television shows, in addition to starring in Al TV specials on MTV.
Plot
Software analysts worked to exhaustion by the sadistic and clueless management at Synergy Wireless, Dave and Craig finally say what's really their minds during an ambush conference call designed to drop an impossible workload for an impossible project on top of their already insane schedule. They manage to stall the project, but the release feels so good that they quit anyway, but not before sabotaging their boss by sending incriminating e-mail messages from his workstation.

Everyone has a breaking point.
Craig: Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. My portable is making this awful grinding noise, and there's this smell, like valuable proprietary data going up in smoke.::Tech Support: Don't worry about that, it's a common problem on the portables.::Craig: When it catches on fire and the sprinklers go off, we really will have a common problem.::Tech Support: Oh, if you want the sprinkler system disabled, that's going to be facilities management.::Craig: What? No!::[Hold music plays. Craig glares at the phone.]
Mary: What's that on the order-of-magnitude scale?::Craig: I don't think the scale applies here, Mary.::Paul: Craig, stick to the methodology!
Mary: I'm putting you down as "Very Hard".::Craig: I would say twenty thousand very hards, plus or minus fifty percent.::Mary: I'm afraid each change request can only be assigned a single difficulty rating. What about you, Dave?::Dave: I'm also "Very Hard."
Paul: We're going to fit this into our current release schedule, Bob.::Dave: I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to say that's impossible.::Mary: Nothing's impossible.::Dave: This is.::Craig: I think what my dear colleague, Dave, is trying to say is that this is beyond our capabilities as an organization to complete.
Dave: Please, listen to him. This could destroy Synergy Wireless as a corporation and take us with it. We'll spend years working 80-hour weeks out of our cubicles, reeking of BO, sleeping between system builds and, when it fails, the rest of our shattered lives will be spent wandering the desert from headhunter to headhunter, begging for one last chance at a project with a rational budget and timetable, or at least one that doesn't violate basic tenets of space-time!
Dave: Synergy's going to hell because we have inept leaders, no direction, we can't make difficult decisions and, since we pay shit, we hire any moron that walks in the door, regardless of their qualifications.::Craig: Yeah... What's your degree in?::Dave: Comparative literature... (beat) You asshole.
Dave: There's an agenda?
Craig: You know Bob, I can't think of one good reason for you to request this tool. You must know it's impossible to build. I understand that marketing's taking over your workload and your department's facing layoffs.::Business Customer: Uh...::Craig: Yeah, so if you start this project it'll become such a huge disaster that you'll be promoted so quickly for your vision and we'll be canned for failing to implement it and wasting shareholder money, yes?::Business Customer: Ah, coughs, um...

When I look into your eyes, opache to all illusion
Magnified and opened wide, to voluminous confusion
Touch me, touch me, feel me, feel me
Know me, know me, show me, show me
Mdmazing, mdmazing
Mdmazing, mdmmazing
We got the power, you and me, you and me
We are together in ecstasy
We got the power, you and me, you and me
We are together in ecstasy
Energise, synchronise, in the strobe light radiation
Resonate and scintillate, such a beautiful mutation
Touch me, touch me, feel me, feel me
Know me, know me, show me, show me
Mdmazing, mdmazing

It's bitter how the world has become
Tied up, untold, controlled
The power, invested in me
The paralysis of the strongest man
In trust
Human lust
Emancipation of embodiment
Breeds no control
Who will abort the last child?
Will it be me? Take a stand or be passive
Who will abduct the last child?
Let us decide, it's human control
It's painful how the human beholds
The paralysis of the weakest child
In trust
Human lust
Emancipation of embodiment
Breeds no control
My words told
But silence hold
yes/no
It's human control
Who will abduct the last child?
Let us decide, it's human control
Oh look there you go fucking it all up again
Take me for all I am worth
Cuz being clean of you means everything to me
Rake up your words and jump in that pile of shit
Leave nothing unsaid making sure you mean every word
Holiest of priests he is dancing with mannequins
Passionately condescending all upon the other side
Taking my innocence praying it all away
Angel with horns he is
Taking my innocence fucking it all away
You bring me down
Ya drag me down
Ya drag me down
You shut me down
If you poison me by turning voices
Further in my head
I won't even care if you suddenly you should
Wind up dead
Slipping further down this spiraling
Twisted wasteful home
Counting shards of glass, broken from
The mirror of our... of our home
And what if you bring me down
You tear me down you drag me down again
I'm sick of talking through you
Took a real good look at myself
Didn't like what I see
Someday I guess I will feel something
How you wanted me to
Now I'm dying for you
You bring me down
Ya drag me down
Ya drag me down
You shut me down
If you poison me by turning voices
Further in my head
I won't even care if you suddenly you should
Wind up dead
Slipping further down this spiraling
Twisted wasteful home
Counting shards of glass, broken from
The mirror of our..
Twitch
If you poison me by turning voices
Further in my head
I won't even care if you suddenly you should
Wind up dead
Slipping further down this spiraling
Twisted wasteful home
Counting shards of glass, broken from
The mirror of our...
...Of our home(!)
just the way it happened
just how the pictures have been framed
i know you know i'm watching
naked bleeding cold and quite insane
it's all creepy crawley
helter skelter in our veins
but who are they to judge who gives or takes
or who'll inflict the pain
the way it's going is just fine
and now we're coming
you'll get yours and i'll get mine
those things they'll never say is what we're gonna do
god if they only knew
synergy my love
those blackened little secrets that we call our own
now that the seeds have been sown
synergy my love
pain the primal mover
turning twisted as it hides
as the grip grows tighter
scarletta domina at my side
and the fire's blazing
i know you like to watch me burn
cure this restless hunger
And so it's the end
The hollow end
So speed the process
Again and again
Move as fast as you can
Like the wind
On no end
Horizontal flickering
Like flash before my eyes
Recurring pictures
The holocaust
Over and over
Burnt into my mind
Like bright stars
I will deliver
Your work shall be forever
I will endure
Keep my strength in you
Memories fade
Cease to pause
To measure time
To treasure day
But when I see it
The way I see it
I swear the scissors have moved
At a distance - in space
The constellations have changed
