O cão fêmea da raça American Pit Bul Terrier foi encontrada nas ruas da cidade de Jaraguá do Sul - SC, brigando com outros cães, onde moradores por temerem a raça, ligaram para a prefeitura e o cão foi recolhido a um abrigo.
Na época os veterinários constataram que ela tinha problemas estéticos, pois suas orelhas foram cortadas muito curtas, o que é considerado atualmente como mutilação, tinha dentição nova e bonita, o que indicava que deveria ter no máximo dois anos e também foi constatado que ela havia acabado de amamentar seus filhotes, pois estava com as "tetinhas" bem grandes, então chegou-se a conclusão que: alguém havia comprado ela, mutilado as orelhas para obter fins estéticos e não satisfeito com o resultado tirou uma ninhada de filhotes para não sair no prejuízo depois de ter adquirido um exemplar de raça e estragado ele esteticamente por ter feito um procedimento cirúrgico de maneira não correta e em local inadequado.
Na época, no ano de 2010, Robson foi até o abrigo a procura de um amigo, e encontrou lá um exemplar que sonhou em ter desde criança, um autêntico Pit Bull. Ela já tinha um nome: Angelina Jolie, que para provar que não queria mais saber de brigas estava dividindo o canil com um pequeno SRD, o Brad Pitt... :) ...
Naquele momento Robson não hesitou e a levou para casa para mostrar para seus pais, mas Jolie fez muito feio, literalmente fez uma "cagada" bem na porta da casa e seus pais ao olharem aquela Pit Bull, com as orelhas cortadas e uma cara de malvada, ainda mais depois de saberem seu histórico de brigas nas ruas, temeram pela vida de Pluto, um pequeno SRD adotado pelos pais de Robson no ano de 2004.
- Pluto foi um grande companheiro de Jolie, infelizmente faleceu em Junho de 2014, devido a problemas cardíacos que teve desde filhote. -
Robson estava lá, com a Jolie que havia acabado de fazer "cagada" na frente da porta e seus pais, olhando assustados, fizeram a proposta: ou vai Jolie embora, ou vão os dois embora! E lá se foram os dois...
Primeiro, tentando socorro na casa da avó de Robson, que já tinha 4 cães na época e não tinha como ficar com mais um, depois, foram até a casa de uma na morada que Robson tinha, porém, ela morava também com os pais e já tinham 3 cães, então, Robson foi para o sítio da família, onde passo a noite com Jolie.
No outro dia, precisava leva-la novamente ao veterinário, pois era necessário extrair um dente canino dela, que estava mole devido a mordidas que ela deu, para atacar ou se defender de outros cães, para isso ela deveria passar a noite na clínica e ficar mais dois dias para se recuperar bem da desnutrição das ruas, foi o tempo que Robson necessitou para convencer seus pais a o deixarem adotar ela.
"No começo ela era muito arisca, se assustava com qualquer coisa, sacolas, bolsas, chinelos, qualquer movimento brusco ela se assustava e fugia, ou dava sinais de que iria atacar e até hoje ela tem algum problema muito sério com gatos".
Robson enfrentou muitos problemas com ela, muitos olhares de cara feia, pessoas atravessando a rua para desviarem do cão e até no parque onde Robson vai desde criança, depois de conseguir socializar muito bem ela com pessoas e outros cães, desde que se mantenham certos padrões de conduta, Robson teve de aderir ao uso de focinheira par passear com sua amada Jolie.
Em 2013 Jolie teve Piometra (infecção uterina) e teve de ser castrada, Robson ficou com o coração na mão, mas por sorta na época estava trabalhando em um hospital veterinário muito conceituado na região e Jolie recebeu os melhores atendimentos, assim se recuperou rapidamente da cirurgia.
"Depois de 4 anos de muito trabalho e dedicação, e é muito importante frisar que o esforço é por parte de ambos, animais, irmãos, juntos, com uma sintonia muito grande de energias e aí está o resultado, ainda tem muito a se fazer..." um cão totalmente dócil, calmo, tranquilo, obediente, amoroso, forte e focado, quebrando todos os mitos que ouvimos sobre os Pitt Bull's, espero que gostem... #Jolie #JoLinda #PitBull #PitBoba #PitLove

Terisa Turner studied at the University of York (U.K.), Oberlin College (U.S.A.), and received her Ph.D. from the London School of Economics. As a United Nations energy specialist she has worked in Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East. She has edited Oil and Class Struggle (1980), Arise Ye Mighty People! Gender, Class and Race in Popular Struggles (1994), Gender, Feminism and the Civil Commons (2001), Women and Global Climate Change (2007), and articles on fossil fuel moratoria, resource conflict, international political economy, gender and subsistence. As a founding member of the International Oil Working Group, she worked to implement the United Nations oil embargo against apartheid South Africa. Through First Woman: the East and Southern African Indigenous Knowledge and Oral History Network, she records the life histories of old women who engaged in the 1950s Mau Mau anti-colonial war. Since 2006 she has focused on 'commoners against climate change.' She is an editor of the Journal of Asian and African Studies and Capitalism Nature Socialism.
Sara Dorow is Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Alberta, where she teaches and conducts research in the areas of globalization, race and culture, gender and family, qualitative methods, and the concept of community. She is currently writing an ethnography of Fort McMurray, "urban service area" to the oil/tar sands, and is heading a team of researchers examining employment-related mobility in Alberta.

Albert Richard "Al" Dorow (November 15, 1929 – December 7, 2009) was an American collegiate and Professional Football quarterback. He played collegiately for Michigan State and professionally in the National Football League and the American Football League.
Dorow, a quarterback, played college football at Michigan State University and was All-American in 1951. He was drafted in the third round of the 1952 NFL Draft. After serving the required two years in the military, Dorow played for the Washington Redskins during the 1954, 1955, and 1956 seasons, and for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1957. After being released by the Eagles before the start of the 1958 season, Dorow spent two years in the Canadian Football League, playing for Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Toronto. Dorow moved to the AFL for its inaugural season, playing for the New York Titans (forerunner of the New York Jets) in 1960 and 1961, before being traded to the Buffalo Bills for the 1962 season. Dorow injured his arm in the fourth game of the 1962 season and was unable to play again.

Geraldo Rivera (born Gerald Michael Riviera; July 4, 1943) is an American attorney, journalist, author, reporter, and talk show host. Rivera hosts the newsmagazine program Geraldo at Large and appears regularly on Fox News Channel.
Rivera was born at Beth Israel Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Lillian (née Friedman), a waitress, and the late Cruz "Allen" Rivera (October 1, 1915 – November 1987), a restaurant worker and cab driver. Rivera's father was a Catholic Puerto Rican of Spanish ancestry, and his mother is of Ashkenazi Russian Jewish descent. He was raised "mostly Jewish" and had a Bar Mitzvah. He grew up in Brooklyn and West Babylon, New York. He has four siblings: Wilfredo, Sharon, Irene, and Craig.
Rivera is an alumnus of the University of Arizona, where he played varsity lacrosse as goalie. From September 1961 to May 1963, he attended the State University of New York Maritime College, where he was a member of the rowing team. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1969, did postgraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania that same year.

Alphonse Gabriel "Al" Capone (January 17, 1899 – January 25, 1947) was an American gangster who led a Prohibition-era crime syndicate. The Chicago Outfit, which subsequently became known as the "Capones", was dedicated to smuggling and bootlegging liquor, and other illegal activities such as prostitution, in Chicago from the early 1920s to 1931.
Born in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City to Italian immigrants, Capone became involved with gang activity at a young age after being expelled from school at age 14. In his early twenties, he moved to Chicago to take advantage of a new opportunity to make money smuggling illegal alcoholic beverages into the city during Prohibition. He also engaged in various other criminal activities, including bribery of government figures and prostitution. Despite his illegitimate occupation, Capone became a highly visible public figure. He made donations to various charitable endeavors using the money he made from his activities, and was viewed by many to be a "modern-day Robin Hood".

O cão fêmea da raça American Pit Bul Terrier foi encontrada nas ruas da cidade de Jaraguá do Sul - SC, brigando com outros cães, onde moradores por temerem a raça, ligaram para a prefeitura e o cão foi recolhido a um abrigo.
Na época os veterinários constataram que ela tinha problemas estéticos, pois suas orelhas foram cortadas muito curtas, o que é considerado atualmente como mutilação, tinha dentição nova e bonita, o que indicava que deveria ter no máximo dois anos e também foi constatado que ela havia acabado de amamentar seus filhotes, pois estava com as "tetinhas" bem grandes, então chegou-se a conclusão que: alguém havia comprado ela, mutilado as orelhas para obter fins estéticos e não satisfeito com o resultado tirou uma ninhada de filhotes para não sair no prejuízo depois de ter adquirido um exemplar de raça e estragado ele esteticamente por ter feito um procedimento cirúrgico de maneira não correta e em local inadequado.
Na época, no ano de 2010, Robson foi até o abrigo a procura de um amigo, e encontrou lá um exemplar que sonhou em ter desde criança, um autêntico Pit Bull. Ela já tinha um nome: Angelina Jolie, que para provar que não queria mais saber de brigas estava dividindo o canil com um pequeno SRD, o Brad Pitt... :) ...
Naquele momento Robson não hesitou e a levou para casa para mostrar para seus pais, mas Jolie fez muito feio, literalmente fez uma "cagada" bem na porta da casa e seus pais ao olharem aquela Pit Bull, com as orelhas cortadas e uma cara de malvada, ainda mais depois de saberem seu histórico de brigas nas ruas, temeram pela vida de Pluto, um pequeno SRD adotado pelos pais de Robson no ano de 2004.
- Pluto foi um grande companheiro de Jolie, infelizmente faleceu em Junho de 2014, devido a problemas cardíacos que teve desde filhote. -
Robson estava lá, com a Jolie que havia acabado de fazer "cagada" na frente da porta e seus pais, olhando assustados, fizeram a proposta: ou vai Jolie embora, ou vão os dois embora! E lá se foram os dois...
Primeiro, tentando socorro na casa da avó de Robson, que já tinha 4 cães na época e não tinha como ficar com mais um, depois, foram até a casa de uma na morada que Robson tinha, porém, ela morava também com os pais e já tinham 3 cães, então, Robson foi para o sítio da família, onde passo a noite com Jolie.
No outro dia, precisava leva-la novamente ao veterinário, pois era necessário extrair um dente canino dela, que estava mole devido a mordidas que ela deu, para atacar ou se defender de outros cães, para isso ela deveria passar a noite na clínica e ficar mais dois dias para se recuperar bem da desnutrição das ruas, foi o tempo que Robson necessitou para convencer seus pais a o deixarem adotar ela.
"No começo ela era muito arisca, se assustava com qualquer coisa, sacolas, bolsas, chinelos, qualquer movimento brusco ela se assustava e fugia, ou dava sinais de que iria atacar e até hoje ela tem algum problema muito sério com gatos".
Robson enfrentou muitos problemas com ela, muitos olhares de cara feia, pessoas atravessando a rua para desviarem do cão e até no parque onde Robson vai desde criança, depois de conseguir socializar muito bem ela com pessoas e outros cães, desde que se mantenham certos padrões de conduta, Robson teve de aderir ao uso de focinheira par passear com sua amada Jolie.
Em 2013 Jolie teve Piometra (infecção uterina) e teve de ser castrada, Robson ficou com o coração na mão, mas por sorta na época estava trabalhando em um hospital veterinário muito conceituado na região e Jolie recebeu os melhores atendimentos, assim se recuperou rapidamente da cirurgia.
"Depois de 4 anos de muito trabalho e dedicação, e é muito importante frisar que o esforço é por parte de ambos, animais, irmãos, juntos, com uma sintonia muito grande de energias e aí está o resultado, ainda tem muito a se fazer..." um cão totalmente dócil, calmo, tranquilo, obediente, amoroso, forte e focado, quebrando todos os mitos que ouvimos sobre os Pitt Bull's, espero que gostem... #Jolie #JoLinda #PitBull #PitBoba #PitLove

O cão fêmea da raça American Pit Bul Terrier foi encontrada nas ruas da cidade de Jaraguá do Sul - SC, brigando com outros cães, onde moradores por temerem a raça, ligaram para a prefeitura e o cão foi recolhido a um abrigo.
Na época os veterinários constataram que ela tinha problemas estéticos, pois suas orelhas foram cortadas muito curtas, o que é considerado atualmente como mutilação, tinha dentição nova e bonita, o que indicava que deveria ter no máximo dois anos e também foi constatado que ela havia acabado de amamentar seus filhotes, pois estava com as "tetinhas" bem grandes, então chegou-se a conclusão que: alguém havia comprado ela, mutilado as orelhas para obter fins estéticos e não satisfeito com o resultado tirou uma ninhada de filhotes para não sair no prejuízo depois de ter adquirido um exemplar de raça e estragado ele esteticamente por ter feito um procedimento cirúrgico de maneira não correta e em local inadequado.
Na época, no ano de 2010, Robson foi até o abrigo a procura de um amigo, e encontrou lá um exemplar que sonhou em ter desde criança, um autêntico Pit Bull. Ela já tinha um nome: Angelina Jolie, que para provar que não queria mais saber de brigas estava dividindo o canil com um pequeno SRD, o Brad Pitt... :) ...
Naquele momento Robson não hesitou e a levou para casa para mostrar para seus pais, mas Jolie fez muito feio, literalmente fez uma "cagada" bem na porta da casa e seus pais ao olharem aquela Pit Bull, com as orelhas cortadas e uma cara de malvada, ainda mais depois de saberem seu histórico de brigas nas ruas, temeram pela vida de Pluto, um pequeno SRD adotado pelos pais de Robson no ano de 2004.
- Pluto foi um grande companheiro de Jolie, infelizmente faleceu em Junho de 2014, devido a problemas cardíacos que teve desde filhote. -
Robson estava lá, com a Jolie que havia acabado de fazer "cagada" na frente da porta e seus pais, olhando assustados, fizeram a proposta: ou vai Jolie embora, ou vão os dois embora! E lá se foram os dois...
Primeiro, tentando socorro na casa da avó de Robson, que já tinha 4 cães na época e não tinha como ficar com mais um, depois, foram até a casa de uma na morada que Robson tinha, porém, ela morava também com os pais e já tinham 3 cães, então, Robson foi para o sítio da família, onde passo a noite com Jolie.
No outro dia, precisava leva-la novamente ao veterinário, pois era necessário extrair um dente canino dela, que estava mole devido a mordidas que ela deu, para atacar ou se defender de outros cães, para isso ela deveria passar a noite na clínica e ficar mais dois dias para se recuperar bem da desnutrição das ruas, foi o tempo que Robson necessitou para convencer seus pais a o deixarem adotar ela.
"No começo ela era muito arisca, se assustava com qualquer coisa, sacolas, bolsas, chinelos, qualquer movimento brusco ela se assustava e fugia, ou dava sinais de que iria atacar e até hoje ela tem algum problema muito sério com gatos".
Robson enfrentou muitos problemas com ela, muitos olhares de cara feia, pessoas atravessando a rua para desviarem do cão e até no parque onde Robson vai desde criança, depois de conseguir socializar muito bem ela com pessoas e outros cães, desde que se mantenham certos padrões de conduta, Robson teve de aderir ao uso de focinheira par passear com sua amada Jolie.
Em 2013 Jolie teve Piometra (infecção uterina) e teve de ser castrada, Robson ficou com o coração na mão, mas por sorta na época estava trabalhando em um hospital veterinário muito conceituado na região e Jolie recebeu os melhores atendimentos, assim se recuperou rapidamente da cirurgia.
"Depois de 4 anos de muito trabalho e dedicação, e é muito importante frisar que o esforço é por parte de ambos, animais, irmãos, juntos, com uma sintonia muito grande de energias e aí está o resultado, ainda tem muito a se fazer..." um cão totalmente dócil, calmo, tranquilo, obediente, amoroso, forte e focado, quebrando todos os mitos que ouvimos sobre os Pitt Bull's, espero que gostem... #Jolie #JoLinda #PitBull #PitBoba #PitLove

Through First Woman: the East and Southern African Indigenous Knowledge and Oral History Network, she records the life histories of old women who engaged in the 1950s Mau Mau anti-colonial war. Since 2006 she has focused on 'commoners against climate change.' She is an editor of the Journal of Asian and African Studies and Capitalism Nature Socialism.
Sara Dorow is Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Alberta, where she teaches and conducts research in the areas of globalization, race and culture, gender and family, qualitative methods, and the concept of community. She is currently writing an ethnography of Fort McMurray, "urban service area" to the oil/tar sands, and is heading a team of researchers examining employment-related mobility in Alberta.

A Minnesota federal appeals court has reversed an earlier ruling that awarded $1.35 million to former Minnesota Gov.
