Yukon/ˈjuːkɒn/ is the westernmost and smallest of Canada's three federal territories.
The territory was created from the rump of the Hudson's Bay Company's North-Western Territory in 1898 as "the Yukon". Receiving royal assent on March 27, 2002, the federal government moderized the Yukon Act to confirm "Yukon", rather than "Yukon Territory", as the current usage standard. Though officially bilingual (English and French) the Yukon Government also recognizes First Nations languages.
At 5,959 m (19,551 ft), Yukon's Mount Logan, in Kluane National Park and Reserve, is the highest mountain in Canada and the second-highest of North America (after Mount McKinley in the U.S. state of Alaska). The territory's climate is Arctic and subarctic, resulting in long cold winters, short summers, and little precipitation.
It was named after the Yukon River. The word Yukon means "Great River" in Gwich’in.
The territory is the approximate shape of a right triangle, bordering the U.S. state of Alaska to the west for 1,210 km (752 mi) mostly along longitude 141° W, the Northwest Territories to the east and British Columbia to the south. Its northern coast is on the Beaufort Sea. Its ragged eastern boundary mostly follows the divide between the Yukon Basin and the Mackenzie River drainage basin to the east in the Mackenzie mountains. Whitehorse is the territorial capital.
Plot

All Mark and Tom wanted was a fun night out on the town, but now they'll be forced to fight if they want to survive until dawn. Thankfully Mark is handy with an axe, and medical student Tom has played enough video games to keep his cool in the chaos. With depressive video store clerk Raven helping to fend off the horde, they may stand a chance of making it through the night without getting devoured - or worse. But who is Miller, and what connection does his missing wife have to these horrible creatures. By the time the weary survivors find out, it may already be too late.

How far would you go to survive?
The end is here.
Jackal: This ain't your lucky day, buddy.
Dakota: They're back.::Darwin: I hope they found something interesting.::Dakota: They did.
[first lines]::Darwin: [voiceover] The end. The end of life as we know it. We didn't see it coming, that's for sure. I mean, who plans for an apocalypse? But you know the really funny thing? It wasn't something big and horrible that did us in. It wasn't nuclear war or a deadly virus or a comet crashing into the planet. It wasn't over-population or global warming. I wish it was. You know, something... lofty and magnificent. Something worthy of exterminating most of the human race. No. In the end it was none of those things. We simply ran out of gas.
Ford: What's the point of being a carnivore if all we can eat is rabbit food?
Darwin: [voiceover] In the year 2012, the gasoline ran out. You could almost hear the giant sucking sound as the last drop of crude was pumped from the Earth. Within a year the reserves were gone too. We were supposed to have 20 years of gas left. That's what the experts said and... they were wrong. Detroit was still churning out gas guzzlers even as the wells went dry. You'd have thought we could survive without gas. But the end of gasoline meant the end of electricity, nuclear power. There's coal, but you still need trucks to deliver the fuel. No electricity means no refrigerators, and that means spoiled food. In days the grocery stores were picked clean, within weeks there was looting, rioting, and chaos. The government had a plan, but it was too busy trying to stop the violence. When they finally declared martial law, it was already too late. Civilization collapsed into anarchy. The smart ones moved south, until they realized that millions of other smart people had the same smart idea. All those people in one place fighting for the same shelter and food, it was a bloodbath. Within three years more than two-thirds of the world's population had starved to death, frozen to death, or slaughtered each other. The American dream became the American nightmare.
Viper: So what's your story?::Neon: Me?::Viper: Yeah. What are you doing here in Philadelphia?::Neon: My um... my boyfriend and I were on our way to Florida, and we heard there was shelter and food here.::Viper: You were misinformed.
Darwin: You're no different than anybody else.::Viper: Oh is that right?::Darwin: Yeah.::Viper: You know, because I've never seen you haul shit. And I've never seen you get your fucking hands dirty.::Dakota: Viper, we all know that he is very busy.::Viper: Yeah, fucking you.
Ford: [after Neon tries to talk to Nova] Don't bother. She's retarded.::[Dakota throws a book at Ford's head]::Ford: Ow! You bitch! That hurt! Jesus.::Dakota: Nova is not retarded. She just doesn't speak to anyone.::Ford: That's retarded.::[Dakota picks up another book]
Neon: I didn't tell you guys everything.::Ford: Well, tell us now.::Neon: Look, the real reason that my boyfriend and I are here is we were running.::Ford: From what?::Neon: From them. They're Rovers.::Ford: What's a Rover?::Neon: They're cannibals. They eat people for food.::Ford: What are you talking about?::Neon: They killed my family. They killed my friends. They... they ate them.
Max: Five against fourteen. That's not good.::Ford: No shit, Sherlock!

Plot
The "Rattler", head of an outlaw band have been terrorizing the residents of Peaceful Valley with a crimewave of rustling, killing, robbing. The Federal Government has sent for its best 25 agents to clean up the valley. These 25 are to drift into town and meet at the Dirty Dog Saloon.

Prologue Narrator: Many stories have been told of the lawlessness of the Western frontier, but none can match the plight of Peaceful Valley where outlaw gangs robbed and murdered with impunity. Horse thieves and cattle rustlers drove hard-working ranchers into bankruptcy and night riders terrorized innocent homesteaders. Lurking behind all this violence was a mysterious figure known to some as "The Rattler". His cunning disguises enabled him to conceal his true identity even from the men working for him. While his masked riders vandalized the countryside, the town was in the grip of his syndicate of bankers and businessmen. Except for the few ranches run by honest cattlemen or their daughters, the entire valley was a dangerous no-man's land filled with ambushers and lynch mobs. The situation seemed hopeless and, indeed, would have been had not the federal government sent the 25 best lawmen in the West. They came in one at a time. Some were easily spotted by their white horse and distinctive hat, but most chose to travel incognito, using assumed names and sometimes even posing as outlaws. It is to these fearless lawmen, their loyal sidekicks and the women of the valley who trusted them that our story is dedicated.
Narrator: Well, you can read about it in them history books, hear about it in songs, but, if you really want to know how it happened, you better come and ask Pat Buttram. I know, because I was there. In fact, I was the one who sent for them 25 hard-ridin', two-fisted troubleshooters. I'd have took care of The Rattler myself single-handed, man-to-man, 'cept I didn't want to jeopardize the lives of innocent townspeople. They was already in trouble clear up to their suspenders.
Narrator: Meanwhile, back at the ranch, more of my men were arrivin'. Some came in answer to the call of justice and same came to the call of...::[camera focuses on a beautiful woman]::Narrator: ...other reasons.
Narrator: Now, I could see right through The Rattler's scheme 'cause Tom Wilson and Autry's dad was double-first cousins of Tex's mother's nephew. So I knew right away we would need all the help we could get.
Narrator: Well, we really showed 'em how the bear goes through the buckwheat - but we had tipped our hand. Now we had to gather evidence fast and we used every possible means, even including, well...::[Miss Joyce looks coyly at the camera]::Narrator: ...every possible means.
Narrator: Everybody joined in and we really laid it on 'em. 'Course, I wasn't there - I knew we had 'em and I was back at the ranch getting' the paperwork ready for the trial. And without me doin' the coordinatin' things got pretty confusin' as to who was what...::[one of the cowboy heroes leaps onto a figure and prepares to pummel him only to discover the man he's knocked down is actually a young woman]
[last lines]::Narrator: And so Peaceful Valley was peaceful once more, thanks to our great cowboy heroes - and me. We cut the tail off the Rattler... or did we?::[scene cuts to the Rattler preparing to blow up a safe with dynamite]::Narrator: Oh no! Hey, boys, come back! Gene! Roy! Buck! Hoppy! He's alive! Come back! Monte! Hoot! Rex! Help! He's still alive! We need you! Andy! Smiley! Where are you...?
Narrator: I remember how happy we was when that first lawman rode into town. You could tell he was a lawman - he was ridin' a clean horse.
Narrator: Back in town somethin' was cookin' and it wasn't chicken - it was trouble.
