Update #4 -

Hello all!
It's been a while since we have given an update-
Since then, Stephen has had his initial court date, where he requested a trial by jury....
Unfortunately, this means he could be waiting until next year before anything moves forward, according to the magistrate. This is apparently due to a backlog of jury and pretrial services that the Dutchfork magistrate is struggling to keep up with.
In the meantime, we hope to keep working towards our current goal of $5000 - as even that may not be sufficient to cover legal fees. For all the support y'all have already given us, we are incredibly grateful. It has been very reinforcing.
We have also been very excited to see that Eddien is free, after serving two months. The action isn't over until everyone is free!
Also, it was great to see folks stand up against racist demonstrations in
Minnesota ( https://itsgoingdown.org/minnesota-stands-united-against-w…/), and DC ( https://itsgoingdown.org/anti-racist-protesters-disrupt-so…/)!
