FIVER es una banda de pop rock con influencias americanas y
anglosajonas. Está integrada por cinco jóvenes de entre 18 y 23 años: Pau (voz), Uri (guitarra), Mayans (guitarra), Pol (bajo) y Ernest
(batería).
Tienen de referentes grupos como McFly, All Time Low, Simple
Plan, Fall Out Boy…
Los cinco, con experiencias previas en otros grupos, confluyen en
este proyecto, que aspira a ser la revelación del año en España.
FIVER acaba de presentar su primer single “Stand by Me” como
adelanto de su primer trabajo discográfico que verá la luz en los
próximos meses.
La canción ha sido producida por Jordi Cubino, grabada en los
estudios Aurha de Barcelona y masterizada en los estudios Abbey
Road de Londres.
Al tiempo que acaban de preparar su disco de debut, su primer
single ha sido elegido para promocionar la película “Stand by Me
Doraemon”.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, JamBase teamed with Telefunken to produce the Songs Of Their Own video series. We began with a list of 100 Grateful Dead original songs (exclusively their tunes, not covers they often played) and tapped many of our favorite artists to record a cover version either at the JamBase office in San Francisco or at one of the many venues around town and beyond. FIVER es una banda de pop rock con influencias americanas y
anglosajonas. Está integrada por cinco jóvenes de entre 18 y 23 años: Pau (voz), Uri (guitarra), Mayans (guitarra), Pol (bajo) y Ernest
(batería).
Tienen de referentes grupos como McFly, All Time Low, Simple
Plan, Fall Out Boy…
Los cinco, con experiencias previas en otros grupos, confluyen en
este proyecto, que aspira a ser la revelación del año en España.
FIVER acaba de presentar su primer single “Stand by Me” como
adelanto de su primer trabajo discográfico que verá la luz en los
próximos meses.
La canción ha sido producida por Jordi Cubino, grabada en los
estudios Aurha de Barcelona y masterizada en los estudios Abbey
Road de Londres.
Al tiempo que acaban de preparar su disco de debut, su primer
single ha sido elegido para promocionar la película “Stand by Me
Doraemon”.

FIVER es una banda de pop rock con influencias americanas y
anglosajonas. Está integrada por cinco jóvenes de entre 18 y 23 años: Pau (voz), Uri (guitarra), Mayans (guitarra), Pol (bajo) y Ernest
(batería).
Tienen de referentes grupos como McFly, All Time Low, Simple
Plan, Fall Out Boy…
Los cinco, con experiencias previas en otros grupos, confluyen en
este proyecto, que aspira a ser la revelación del año en España.
FIVER acaba de presentar su primer single “Stand by Me” como
adelanto de su primer trabajo discográfico que verá la luz en los
próximos meses.
La canción ha sido producida por Jordi Cubino, grabada en los
estudios Aurha de Barcelona y masterizada en los estudios Abbey
Road de Londres.
Al tiempo que acaban de preparar su disco de debut, su primer
single ha sido elegido para promocionar la película “Stand by Me
Doraemon”.

videoclipe dirigido e produzido pela própria banda, a faixa intitulada Fiver inicia o calendário
de lançamentos de materiais relacionados ao álbum que tem previsão de estreia no segundo
semestre de 2014.
Fiver é um prenúncio estético das demais faixas do álbum 12:00. O disco adota um formato
conceitual ao contar subjetivamente a história de um adolescente que descobre a verdade em
relação ao seu falecido pai, após encontrar no porão de sua casa diversas caixas escondidas
contendo fitas VHS. Em “12:00” cada música representa uma neurose nutrida pelo pai, e
cada faixa se relaciona com imagens de arquivos supostamente armazenadas pelo mesmo. A
sonoridade do álbum caminha entre o eletrônico, o burlesco, o terror e a psicodelia, através de
samplers estranhos, vocais de 8bit melancólicos, mantras em delay, baixos densos e pesados,

FIVER es una banda de pop rock con influencias americanas y
anglosajonas. Está integrada por cinco jóvenes de entre 18 y 23 años: Pau (voz), Uri (guitarra), Mayans (guitarra), Pol (bajo) y Ernest
(batería).
Tienen de referentes grupos como McFly, All Time Low, Simple
Plan, Fall Out Boy…
Los cinco, con experiencias previas en otros grupos, confluyen en
este proyecto, que aspira a ser la revelación del año en España.
FIVER acaba de presentar su primer single “Stand by Me” como
adelanto de su primer trabajo discográfico que verá la luz en los
próximos meses.
La canción ha sido producida por Jordi Cubino, grabada en los
estudios Aurha de Barcelona y masterizada en los estudios Abbey
Road de Londres.
Al tiempo que acaban de preparar su disco de debut, su primer
single ha sido elegido para promocionar la película “Stand by Me
Doraemon”.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, JamBase teamed with Telefunken to produce the Songs Of Their Own video series. We began with a list of 100 Grateful Dead original songs (exclusively their tunes, not covers they often played) and tapped many of our favorite artists to record a cover version either at the JamBase office in San Francisco or at one of the many venues around town and beyond. No song was allowed to be covered twice, and today’s participant Fiver Brown ran off “Row Jimmy.”
Debuted along with several other new tunes at the February 9, 1973 show at Roscoe Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto, California, and ultimately performed over 270 times, “Row Jimmy” was recorded for the band’s 1973 studio album Wake Of The Flood - the first to feature Keith Godchaux and Donna Godchaux. An often performed part of Dead shows throughout the rest of the decade, by 1981 the Hunter/Garcia song became less commonly played, being brought out a few times a year until its final live rendition on June 21, 1995 at Albany’s Knickerbocker Arena.
Atlanta native and current Bay Area houseboat resident Fiver Brown brought along bassist Eric DiBerardino and guitarist Chris Haugen to the JamBase offices this week to record “Row Jimmy.” With DiBerardino on upright acoustic bass and Haugen on acoustic slide guitar, Brown and the trio executed a twangy, gentle rendition of the tune for the assembled JamBase staff.

A great spotted woodpecker made a rare but welcome appearance in The Fiver’s garden, where it chased the t1ts from the fatballs and enjoyed a lengthy peck (The Fiver has some work to do when it comes to reporting the natural world) ... A bus full of stories

Travelling in the local bus can be quite an interesting experience. I recall how the bus I boarded regularly to go to college had to pass the bungalow of a Member of Parliament. His house was heavily guarded by black cats armed with rifles ... There was no fiver to give! Noticing his quandary, a man gave a fiver, which the conductor gave to the old lady ... The conductor asked the mother of two to request the old lady to give her the fiver ... ....
