Martin Seamus "Marty" McFly, Sr. is the protagonist in the Back to the Future film trilogy, and is portrayed by actor Michael J. Fox. Marty was also the protagonist in the animated series where he was voiced by David Kaufman. In the videogame by Telltale Games, he is voiced by AJ LoCascio.
Eric Stoltz was originally cast as Marty McFly, but after five weeks of shooting scenes for the first film, director Robert Zemeckis and executive producer Steven Spielberg chose to re-cast the role to Fox.
Marty was born in Hill Valley, California in 1968 to a family of Irish descent. Little is known about Marty's life prior to the first Back to the Future film, except for the fact that he accidentally set his parents' living room rug on fire when he was 8 (which we know from a statement of Marty's to his future parents).
In 1985, Marty plays lead guitar with his group The Pinheads and likes listening to Huey Lewis and the News, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Van Halen. He is also a talented skateboarder and proven to be an excellent shot with a gun, honed by endlessly playing shooting games such as Wild Gunman at his local 7-Eleven.
Michael J. Fox, OC (born Michael Andrew Fox; June 9, 1961) is a Canadian American actor, author, celebrity, producer, activist and voice-over artist. With a film and television career spanning from the late 1970s, Fox's roles have included Marty McFly from the Back to the Future trilogy (1985–1990); Alex P. Keaton from Family Ties (1982–1989) for which he won three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award; and Mike Flaherty from Spin City (1996–2000), for which he won an Emmy, three Golden Globes, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, and disclosed his condition to the public in 1998. Fox semi-retired from acting in 2000 as the symptoms of his disease worsened. He has since become an activist for research toward finding a cure. This led him to create the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and on March 5, 2010, Sweden's Karolinska Institutet gave him a honoris causa doctorate for his work in advocating a cure for Parkinson's disease.
Since 2000 Fox has mainly worked as a voice-over actor in films such as Stuart Little and Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and taken guest TV roles such as in Boston Legal, The Good Wife, Scrubs, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Rescue Me. He has also released three books, Lucky Man: A Memoir (2002); Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist (2009); and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future: Twists and Turns and Lessons Learned (2010). He was inducted as an Officer of the Order of Canada on May 27, 2011, for his outreach and fundraising work.
David Michael Letterman (born April 12, 1947) is an American television host and comedian. He hosts the late night television talk show, Late Show with David Letterman, broadcast on CBS. Letterman has been a fixture on late night television since the 1982 debut of Late Night with David Letterman on NBC. Letterman recently surpassed friend and mentor Johnny Carson for having the longest late-night hosting career in the United States of America.
Letterman is also a television and film producer. His company Worldwide Pants produces his show as well as its network follow-up The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Worldwide Pants has also produced several prime-time comedies, the most successful of which was Everybody Loves Raymond, currently in syndication.
In 1996, David Letterman was ranked #45 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time.
Letterman was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. His father, Harry Joseph Letterman (April 1915 – February 1973), was a florist of British descent; his mother Dorothy Letterman (née Hofert, now Dorothy Mengering), a Presbyterian church secretary of German descent, is an occasional figure on the show, usually at holidays and birthdays.
Plot
Follow the members of Team Bad Wizard as they attempt to hike from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail through California, Oregon, and Washington. Walking 2600 miles through deserts, fires, snow and rain, the Wizards combine all of the blister-popping, dirty, salt-encrusted misery of five and a half months of hiking with the joys of nature, friendship, and far more dancing than you would expect in a trail documentary. About 300 people attempt to 'thru-hike' the PCT every year. The Wizards not only succeed -- they have fun doing it.
Jester: Hiking is for suckers.
H.R. Huff N' Puff: It's a poopin' injury!

Doc: You're just not thinking fourth dimensionally!::Marty McFly: Right, right. I have a real problem with that.
[Doc Brown and Marty are hijacking a train]::Doc: Reach!::Engineer: Is this a holdup?::Doc: It's a science experiment!
[after the duel between Buford Tannen and Marty, which ended with Buford landing in green horse dung]::Seamus McFly: [chuckling to himself] That was good.
Marty McFly: Listen, you got a back door to this place?::Bartender: Yeah, it's in the back.
Jennifer Parker: Dr. Brown, I brought this note back from the future and now it's erased.::Doc: Of course it's erased.::Jennifer Parker: But what does that mean?::Doc: It means your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one, both of you.::Marty McFly: [Marty wraps his arm around Jennifer] We will, Doc.
Doc: Clara was one in a million. One in a billion. One in a googolplex!
Doc: Marty, I gave you explicit instructions not to come here but to go directly back to 1985.::Marty McFly: I know, Doc. But I had to come.::Doc: But it's good to see ya, Marty.
Doc: Marty, you can't go losing your judgment every time someone calls you a name. That's exactly what causes you to get into that accident in the future.
[at the town festival]::Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen: Then let's finish it, right now!::Buford's Gang Member #1: Uh, not now, Buford. Uh, Marshal's got our guns.::Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen: Like I said, we'll finish this tomorrow.::Buford's Gang Member #2: Tomorrow, we're robbin' the Pine City Stage.::Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen: What about Monday? Are we doin' anything Monday?::Buford's Gang Member #1: Uh, no, Monday'd be fine. You can kill him on Monday.::Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen: I'll be back this way on Monday! We'll settle this then... right there... out in the street... in front of the Palace Saloon!::Marty McFly: Yeah, right. When? High noon?::Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen: Noon? I do my killin' before breakfast! Seven o'clock!::Marty McFly: Eight o'clock. I do my killin' after breakfast!
[last lines]::Marty McFly: Hey, Doc! Where you goin' now? Back to the future?::Doc: Nope. Already been there.

Marty McFly: [arriving in 1955] Oh, this is heavy, Doc. I mean, it's like I was just here yesterday.::Doc: You were here yesterday, Marty.

He's the only kid ever to get into trouble before he was born. [UK]
He was never in time for his classes . . .Then one day he wasn't in his time at all.
17 year old Marty McFly got home early last night. 30 years early.
He was never in time for his classes... He wasn't in time for his dinner... Then one day... he wasn't in his time at all.
Marty McFly's having the time of his life. The only question is -- what time is it?
Meet Marty McFly. He's broken the time barrier. Busted his parents' first date. And, maybe, botched his chances of ever being born.
Marty McFly just broke the time barrier. He's only got one week to get it fixed.
George McFly: Last night, Darth Vader came down from Planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out, that he'd melt my brain.
Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?::Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
[1955 Doc is watching a video of 1985 Doc]::Dr. Emmett Brown: What on Earth is this thing I'm wearing?::Marty McFly: Ah, this, this is a radiation suit.::Dr. Emmett Brown: Radiation suit? Of course. 'Cause of all the fallout from the atomic wars.
[in the past, Marty observes his dad's incompetence]::Marty McFly: Jesus, George, it was a wonder I was even born.
George McFly: Lorraine. My density has popped me to you.::Lorraine Baines: What?::George McFly: Oh. What I meant to say was...::Lorraine Baines: Wait a minute. Don't I know you from somewhere?::George McFly: Yes. Yes. I'm George. George McFly. I'm your density. I mean, your destiny.
Mr. Strickland: I noticed your band is on the roster for the dance auditions after school today. Why even bother, McFly? You don't have a chance. You're too much like your old man. No McFly ever amounted to anything in the history of Hill Valley!::Marty McFly: Yeah, well, history is gonna change.
[repeated line]::Marty McFly: If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.
Biff Tannen: Mr. McFly! Mr. McFly, this just arrived. Oh, hi, Marty. I think it's your new book.::Lorraine Baines: Oh, honey! Your first novel.::George McFly: Like I've always told you, you put your mind to it, you can accomplish *anything*.::Biff Tannen: Oh, Marty. Marty, here's your keys. You're all waxed up, ready for tonight.::Marty McFly: Keys?
Marty McFly: "Too loud." I can't believe it. I'm never gonna get a chance to play in front of anybody.::Jennifer Parker: Marty, one rejection isn't the end of the world.::Marty McFly: Nah, I just don't think I'm cut out for music.::Jennifer Parker: But you're good, Marty. You're really good, and this audition tape of yours is great. You've gotta send it in to the record company. It's like Doc's always saying.::Marty McFly: Yeah, I know. I know. "If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything."::[Marty notices two girls walk by and looks at them]::Jennifer Parker: [turns Marty's head back to her] That's good advice, Marty.::Marty McFly: All right, okay, Jennifer. What if I send in the tape in and they don't like it? What if they say I'm no good? What if they say, "Get out of here kid. You've got no future"? I mean, I just don't think I can take that kind of rejection. Jesus, I'm starting to sound like my old man.::Jennifer Parker: Come on. He's not that bad. At least he's letting you borrow the car tomorrow night.::Marty McFly: [sees a tow truck pull up with a 4x4 Toyota on the flat bed] Check out that 4x4. That is hot. Someday, Jennifer. Someday. Wouldn't it be great to take that truck up to the lake? Throw a couple of sleeping bags in the back. Lie out underneath the stars.::Jennifer Parker: Stop it.::Marty McFly: What?::Jennifer Parker: Does your mom know? About tomorrow night?::Marty McFly: No, get out of town. My mom thinks I'm going camping with the guys. Look, Jennifer, my mother would freak out if she knew I was going out with you, and I'd get the standard lecture about how she never did that kind of stuff when she was a kid. I mean, look, I think the woman was born a nun.::Jennifer Parker: She's just trying to keep you respectable.::Marty McFly: Well, she's not doing a very good job.::Jennifer Parker: Terrible.
Biff Tannen: And where's my reports?::George McFly: Well, I haven't finished those up yet, but you know, I... I figured since they weren't due till...::Biff Tannen: Hello? Hello? Anybody home? Huh? Think, McFly. Think! I gotta have time to get them retyped. Do you realize what would happen if I hand in my reports in your handwriting? I'll get fired. You wouldn't want that to happen, would ya? Would ya?::George McFly: Of course not, Biff. Now, I wouldn't want that to happen. Now, look. I'll, uh, finish those reports on up tonight, and I'll run 'em on over first thing tomorrow, all right?::Biff Tannen: Not too early. I sleep in Saturday. Oh, McFly, your shoe's untied.::[jabs his finger up to George's face]::Biff Tannen: Don't be so gullible, McFly. Got the place fixed up nice, though, McFly.
You cut me
off the mixtape TRAP DOOR
InTRO
If I could go back into time, I'd one night you
My hearts frozen, colder than ice cubes
and who gave you that right to, walk and bounce
you used the key to my heart at the wrong house
so now my plans startin' to mount, now im cookin it up
im down but the way its lookin' is up
and its nuts, cause after all that time wantin' to cry
im just laughin, cause you just lost that one of a kind
CHORUS
This time was different, felt like i was just a victum
And it cut me like a knife
when you walked out of my life
Now im , in this condition, and i got all the symptoms
And you cut me like a knife
But no matter what youll never see me cry
Verse
first, you gotta know what you did to me
you made a monster, the old mes history
you've done turn me to the craziest man
ive gone cold, so ill never be the same again
and nope, i was runnin' back... you had a chance
but you was there holdin' hands with some other man
damn, and every word was another lie
cupid musta hit my eye, cause love is blind
when you left it was hard, just to see passed
you could hop out a box, it wouldn't be jack
to me, here i am with that new look
it was a game, i used the wrong rule book
i shoulda known i was mixed with a mix-match
i got attached, and now im bluer than crip flags
she said stuff i aint have to hear
i whipe my eyes, but i still cry tattoo tears
HOOK
my hearts gone, im addicted to darkness
she left my heart, over there on the park bench
i even heard from sources, that she was gettin' around
so now im mad, burnin up like arsonist
never understood the non sense, she bragged about
i let her talk, but she nagged me 'round
and had me down, even tried to break me quick
and everytime i hear her name now, it makes me sick
i puke,
how you gonna say you loved me, you need me, believed me
then you turn around and you leave me?
its deceiving, you kill me with that weak smile
forget love, me and cupid got a beef now
i gave love a shot, gave it a clip toss
you put me down, quicker than some sick dogs
the other side got grass the greenest,
so im goin, but the next time you say love, better mean it
Honestly, aint no such thing as love
Make sure you understand that
dont give anybody your emotion
emotion is the, most powerful thing you own
dont let it break you
OH! and thanks again girl, cause I've been livin' my life
I wonder what it feels like
You shouln't day dream baby this is real life
& tomorrow ain't promised so
Living for the moment is the only thing logical.
INTERLUDE
He spends his nights in California,
Watching the stars on the big screen.
Then he lies awake and he wonders,
Why can't that be me?
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank every fan that i've got
I know i do it all the time, i'm not planning to stop
But around me the world is not what it seems like
Which makes me stop at the green light's
I need to slow down, cause when im gone ya'll gone miss me
The world turns slow but backs turn quickly
& even though the pain is bottled inside
I keep my middle finger up and i swallow my pride
& time flies but the days don't follow
My heads full of stress but my hearts all hollow
I'm giving it my all, waiting for the bravo
Trying not to drown in a pool full of sorrow
Pause...i backstroke towards sanity
Do it for the love and i do it for my family
Now im in control like the eye of the storm
But when the reign comes down, it breaks through the canopy
Yeah...every days a slow day
The sun's gonna shine if you prey for snow days
And even when they tell you that you are not alone
They stay for a while but then they gotta go
Man, I just can't be free
Everytime I'm round ya'll i just can't be me
And sometimes i feel im driving in a limo
Trap DOOR
off Trap Door
Chorus
She said she feel so (DAMN UNPRETTY)
She said she feel so (DAMN UNPRETTY)
damn unpretty damn unpretty
damn..damn unpretty
Verse
Yeah
I think its crazy all the things he doesnt do for you
Instead of wanting change he should call you beautiful
And hes probably got some low self esteem so hes tryna change a queen to a normal human being
I see your hurt and imma break it to you gently
You give out all you got and then you sit there feeling empty
you think this all happens accidently?
DOnt alter yourself, thats like putting bumper stickers on a bently
And damn there she go again, crying all alone again
Imma play Regis baby know that you can phone a friend
Any time you need me i can turn a frown
right a round just call me up when you wanna see me
and we can chase stars through the yellow bricks of OZ
in the words of bruno mars, you are perfect how you are
I know that you are strong and you are gonna fight it hard
but he dont need a knife to leave you scarred.
HOOK
Verse
Can you tell me why youll stick around another day
WHen you know for a fact nothings gonna change
Is it a phase? would you tell me if you were afraid?
Cause if you are i can take you to another place
Its far away in a whole nother galaxy
Girl your the mona lisa of the gallery
And everybodys gonna have to say the same thing
IF you think hes good for you than your insane
So baby its decieving, tell him that your leaving
You dont gotta change, God made you for a reason
And i gotta promise you as long as im breathing
That you gon shine brighter than the biggest start gleaming
I hope this ends soon, its probably just a phase
If it is then im sure you gon see some brighter days
This life is played out about a 100 million ways but you are somebody that i cant see fade

Verse - Marty
I wish I was a kid again, without a problem in the world
I miss my old life and i miss my old girl
And i miss the old days, i would run around and play
Then come home just knowing everything would be okay
But, time flies in the blink of an eye
The sheets on your death bed are a wrinkle in time
and the scars on my arms are all that i have
to show the good side of bad
And i just think of everything that's on my mind
Its a messed up world, but if you're living its fine
Positivity's key, but for me that's hard to do
Especiallly when i'm involved with you
Where the hell am I at? I just wonder where'd the rap fans go
Its cliche, but im bluer then a pac man ghost

Can I be the only one, who never sleeps at night
When there's something on my mind, im always loosing time
Maybe, one day ill meet
Somebody who can relate to me, maybe
I know im not the only one
Verse
I'm always tryna sleep, but I always never can
I'm always tryna take back things ive never said
& life is just an hour glass, glued to the table
& we all staring at it wondering when it's gonna end
People always laughing at these plans of mine
I'm tryna go & build castles in the sands of time
But when i try to move forward everybody tries to clown me
I'm feeling like a land mine no one comes around me
It's irritating, ive tried counting sheep
HOw my supposed to dream big if i cant even sleep?
Well i guess im too bleek, but that will never stop
Cause im tired of pretending to be happy when im not
Im so lost, i need one last plan
I was suited up in hearts but i played a bad hand
I know I should of folded but i couldn't have man
cause i know a good run is better than a bad stand
HOOK
There's a little bit of loneliness in all of us
But i guess im more alone then i thought i was
So i find myself talking to the wall
Getting all these dirty looks when im walking through the halls
The same bull, story of my life
Nothing gets me worried more than cory with a knife
I'm just looking for the glory and the light
my ex calls me crazy and now im pretty sure that she is right
BUT ive never been the type to just settle
In a dark room shadown boxing with the devil
But she dont wear prada or stelettos?
She got on a northface, uggs and a watch with a bezel
Its no sweat though, i wont acknowledge it
Give my heart a twitter and i still wouldn't follow it
Cause sometimes the heart plays tricks on your mind
Actually all the time, especially when its mine
It was the end of last year when I saw this movie with you in,
It was a winter night as I recall dreamin' of the sky
But all this time she wished for something more
Than to earn a life and keep it for herself
And I swear I'll be that guy who wanted the same
I never wanted change, so just keep us apart
And it's just a one night thing so sit back down again
Yeah, you heard me
But can I be the one who breaks it down for you?
It was at the movies when she heard this piece of good advice
It was an old romance as I recall dreaming of jealousy
But her name was pure and spoke of something more
Than a wish for blue that she keeps to herself
And I swore I'd be the guy who wants you the same
I never asked for change... never
Yeah, there's so much here to save if you never ask for rain
So just keep us apart...
No, I never asked for rain tonight at all...
Now you'll never be the same
I want it, I need it so read it...
You want it? You need it?... So be it.
Don't ask me why I wish that I - and I hope that I - cannot leave tonight
Always be true to the oceans blue, here's to the truth you told
Hook - Gary David
I can change the world
I would be the sunlight of your universe
You would think my love was really something good
Baby if I could, change the world
Verse - Marty McFly
I walk alone around a place I don't wanna be
In a world full of cornballs and drama queens
Where people carry round guns just to feel hard
Where everybody wants attention like a drill sgt.
Around here nobody does what they need to do
Where everybody rather hate then believe in you
But we were placed here, this ain't a chosen life
I guess the world's gonna be turning real slow tonight
I've been hopeless, sleeping with the roaches
Hating every stormy day, praying for a solstice
feeling like an outsider fighting with the soc's
I had to sell my ford cause i couldn't keep my focus
And now i'm feeling like a man without a cause
I'm tryna find the perfect time to overlook the flaws
And maybe I can't change the whole entire world but
Baby I am pretty sure I can change yours
Hook - Gary David
I can change the world
I would be the sunlight of your universe
You would think my love was really something good
Baby if I could, change the world
Verse 2 - Marty McFly
Lets have a toast to the girls who respect themself
Go tell that corn that you with he should check himself
How you grown and you still living at home
And rather then go get a job you be getting stoned
It's such a shame, everybodys gone crazy
Daddy's little baby had a baby
We living in a world where recessions an excuse for being lazy
where all your close friends turn shady
I'm feeling out of place on this planet
so im thinking i should probably go
My life is ice cream...a cold rockie road
So im gonna walk it slow until i find change
Im not a player but im tired of the mind games
While everybodys up in everybodys business
I try hard...i could never make a difference
Cause they don't listen to the priest's or the pastors
So why they gonna listen to a rapper?
Hook - Gary David
I can change the world
I would be the sunlight of your universe
You would think my love was really something good
Baby if I could, change the world

UHH yeah marty...MC...FLY ...or something like that
Verse
My whole life i was labeled as a nuisance
I was the nerd at the table with the cool kids
and i was ruthless, but the truth is
Talkin is cheap so you can keep your 2 cents
Cause all i need is a dream and a dollar
Aint worried bout yesterday im tryna see tomorrow
And nothing else matters when you've spotted your goals
Im all alone cause I know you cant rot when your cold
SOOO hopefully i can (right/write) your wrong
They see scars and they ask me why i fight so long
ITS ALL GOOD, as long as when they lights go off
Im still here to excel like microsoft
And they told me get respect but nobody ever showed me how
And right now a yellow light couldnt slow me down
I rhyme LIFE yall rhyme for fun
Ill stay (DEF) cause everone alive is dumb
HOOK

All im saying is.
I am retro, yall aint ghetto.

Verse
My competiton always loves to harass me
They'r like teachers they will never pass me
Its all work man i thrive for some party time
Im so high you look at me and get stary eyed

Youll be paying the price if you wnat me saying it twice
My name buzz now the bees try to hunny coat
I like girls but id rather have some money tho
And if she diggin me i guess i cant tell her
Got people on my tip like NELSON MANDELLA
And yall cant fool me YO, the flow is coolio
And all my rhymes universal like studio's
I aint jones'n im roy in his prime
i got hands to beat a royal flush or 4 of a kind
So dont bluff or im callin it quick
and imma rhyme round cats till they callin it quits.
HOOK REPEAT
Its all good.
I aint playing but i wish yall would.
All im saying is.
I am retro, yall aint ghetto.
GTFO
Imma get it this time so don’t sweat it
Im bout to get my immortal technique on man
Yeah Rest in peace…uh
HOOK
She said, I wonder when it’ll be my day
Cause im not too far from breaking down
All ive got are screams inside
But somehow they come out in a smile
And I wondered if ill always feel this way, this way
Verse
You should of seen her she was beautiful, I think that its unusual
That baby girl was flawless from her hair down to her cuticles
I couldn’t let her walk away, cause my skies are often gray
And shorty had a smile that could brighten up your darkest day
We were always hanging out, we would grab some hagan das
And chill up in some parking lot and talk a lot
Now my music’s catching up, now im seeing less of her
Now she’s chilling with some new kids and all the peer pressure heckles her
Now she’s smoking green with some kids she’s never seen
To make a long story short it was obscene, she became a feen
And weed wasn’t diligent, so she would pop a pill again
Trying meth with kids she’s never met and doing heroin
And I was at a show up in mass man I didn’t know
Baby girl had called me twice, damn, and I missed em both
And when I checked my voice mail she left me 2 messages
The first one was nothing but this is what the second said
Hook
She said, I wonder when it’ll be my day
Cause im not too far from breaking down
All ive got are screams inside
But somehow they come out in a smile
And I wondered if ill always feel this way, this way
Verse
So right after my show, yeah I called her up
She told me bout the drugs and I tore her up
I told her she was stupid but she roasted me, talking bout it openly
I wanna keep you close to me, this aint how its suppose to be
I told her not to talk at all, see this isn’t fun for me
You pick either drugs or me, thinking she would run to me
But then she just hung up on me, this is all bad luck for me
All im thinking bout is her the problems adding up to me
And all I have is photographs, reflections in that broken glass
Every time you thinking positive man you hope it last
Every single breath is like a choke and gasp
Driving up that road to fast all you do is hope you crash
I’m feeling all alone, I hit her up I knew I couldn’t give her up
I called her to apologize for all the times that I was acting bitter but
Her voice mail answered and my eyes started filling up
I took a deep breath and I spilled my guts
This is what I said
HOOK
Mabey you’ve fallen down
Mabey you just took the long way home
Baby, you could never love you, like me
And one day this will fade away
In the mirror you’ll see your smiling face
And standing next to you will always be me, yeah me
VERSE
Yeah, she never answered me & this was really weird to me
I got up in my car to go see her and her family
I knocked up on the door and I asked if she was home
But her sister started crying and she said that she was gone
and she grabbed me just to hold me close
Hid up in my open coat and frantically she told me that she passed from an overdose
I couldn’t really hear or see anything that’s going on
The overwhelmed explosions in my mind had started going off
I couldn’t help but cry when the feelings finally settled
The rose that grew from heaven had simply lost its pedals
I learned there’s no prevention or escape from your dimension
I know that all the angel’s fall when you are not in heaven
Eternity will dwell upon the right and wrong decisions
The unexamined life is simply not worth living
So knowing that she wasn’t there I called her phone again
With a mouth full of alcohol and this is what she said
Hook
Tell me about those nights you stayed awake
Tell me about those days you hated me
Tell me how you’d rather die alone then being stuck her with me
One day your gonna see things my way
You gave me so much room and I cant breathe
Tell me about those nights you stayed awake
Tell me about those days you hated me
Tell me how you’d rather die alone then being stuck her with me
One day your gonna see things my way

I am, the only person who I wanna be
I stand out, kinkos; couldn't copy me
I can't make cents, minds full of poverty
I'm livin like a jelly fish I aint got no heart in me
Aside from the stress, hate,& the scrutinty
I'm not the person who I choose to be
To all of ya'll saluting me,
I'm not the person who I used to be
Life is like an escort,it always trys screwing me
Who are you to try to tell me I'm a changed man?
I'm the same man, I just got a different game plan
buildin' stamina, workin' on my gameface
focused on the long run, ya'll is in the same place
everybody try to say that im not good enough
these girls goldy-locks, nothin's ever good enough
too hot, too cold, shoulda, coulda, woulda stuff
i was 17 doing things you never coulda done
Hook
You only get this one life to live
Although it mabey too hard to fit in
When you feel like no ones listening
Love yourself
You only get this one life to give
So you gotta keep it for yourself
Dont you ever let them bring you down
Love yourself
And no one else
Verse
My life in three words, better than.. yours
I fly around, ya'll pedallin'
to me, thinkin' out the box is the medicine
mind of a cherokee, and i dont like settlin'
but see, every room got an elephant
or three or four skeletons in every door im enterin'
but thats irrelevant, i love how the show react
like a gifted kid in school, no ones gonna hold me back
cause all ive ever had is pride and a vision
and all ive ever wanted in this life, was to fit in
but ya'll are quick to judge, when im put in this position
i just wish you knew the man under the fitted
cause times is rough,
and see my life has been a mess since the start of it
life is like a box of chocolate without a top on it
life is like a glock, with a chamber full of hollow tips
and i know its hard to swallow, but at least you could acknowledge it
HOOK REPEAT
Verse
yeah, and life is more than just a little game
it sounds strange, but pain; is my middle name
i've never changed, ive been doin' this for ???(eeons)???
i would only drink, so i had something to lean on
my future is a picture, i wish that i could edit
its hard to forget it, when you know they really meant it
its gettin' to my head, and its hard not to let it
but, people will do anything besides give you credit
and, no matter how good my damn song goes
they will find a reason to hate on it, but lord knows
that, ahh frig it, im exhausted
tell me how I sound like drake, when I started before him..
and how come, they compared me to marshall
than it was benefit, how does rapping benefit
to people who just wanna start expressing themself
and what the hells the point in livin', if your stressing yourself
but who knows, ive turned cold, im tired of the yearnin
i wish i went to highschool, to find a higher learnin'
i wish i made sense, or had some incents, to call pass,
so i could sit back and watch it burn yeah
and gary i know you said a 16,
and I'm sorry I just need to let myself speak
I've been holdin' it for too long, and everyone knows
now my crews gone, I just gotta focus on these new songs
but i dont know, what the hell im tryin' to do it for
i wish i had the attitude, to just say screw it all
and to the very few fans that ive had,
i wanna thank you all for always having my back
