The other day as I was making lunch a mouse ran out from behind the bread bin. I suspect he had been trying to get at the croissants. As he scuttled along the worktop I tried to batter him with the frying pan but he was too quick ... Then he leapt to the floor, ran under the fridge and vanished. My children were delighted ...
