It is home to the Assiniboine Indians and Gros Ventre Indians. Below are several links to help the Chippewas Indians of Fort Belknap Reservation, learn the truth about who they are. Most important is the Seven Fires Prophecy. The 1832 Edinburgh Encyclopedia proves the Athabascan People or Dene People including the Apache, Chipewyan, and Navajo are Algonquin. The third link is to a page with a list of tribes speaking Algonquin. The fourth link is to a googlebooks pdf book written by Andrew Blackbird in 1887, titled History of the Ottawa and Chippewas Indians of Michigan. Blackbird wrote that Chippewas or Anishinabe, was extensively spoken among the Shoshone which means the Shoshone are Chippewas. It is on pages 89 and 90. The fifth link is to a webpage about the Macro-Algonquian Languages. The Chippewas or Anishinabe Language, was spoken from the Arctic Ocean to Florida, and from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean.
