In L.A., Flynn Parker loses his job as a health inspector when his time in prison comes to light, his girlfriend Maggie moves out because of his prevarications, and his ne'er-do-well father, Nat, summons him to Atlantic City with a tale of a malignant cancer. Flynn doesn't like Nat, a small-time hustler and the cause of Flynn's jail time, but Nat cajoles his son into a cross-country trip through family memories toward New Mexico where an experimental treatment awaits. The trip is not just about the past, but whether either can tell the truth - and then what to do with those truths. From time to time, Flynn calls Maggie to leave messages. And what about Flynn's mother?

Psychologist Bill Capa gives up his practise when he unintentionally pushes a patient to commit suicide. In an effort to come to terms with this tragedy he visits an old colleague, Bob Moore, who is subsequently murdered. The quest to catch the killer centres around a group of Moore's psychologically disturbed patients, however equally as important is an affair which develops between Capa and the mysterious Rose. This relationship, at first a diversion, becomes central to the plot as the film progresses.

Morelia, Mich., a 16 de septiembre de 2015.- El Presidente Municipal de Morelia Alfonso Martínez Alcázar, dio el banderazo de arranque a las obras de bacheo que se realizarán en diferentes puntos de la ciudad, esto con la finalidad de brindarle a los morelianos vías transitables, así como seguras y con una tecnología innovadora. Reunidos en vialidades de Calzada La Huerta, el Alcalde estuvo acompañado por el Síndico Municipal, Fabio Sistos Rangel, el secretario del Ayuntamiento, Jesús Ávalos Plata, el Encargado de despacho de la Secretaría de Efectividad e Innovación Gubernamental, Antonio Plaza Urbina, así como de funcionarios de la administración. Alfonso Martínez, aseguró que el mejoramiento vial es una de las prioridades para la actual administración, por lo que se buscarán las mejores herramientas y métodos que ayuden a disminuir los baches en la capital del Estado, y con ello, se reduzca la inseguridad por accidentes. Destacó que el mal estado de las vialidades se complica cuando se trata de baches pequeños, por lo que se utilizarán los materiales adecuados para restablecerlos de manera eficiente y rápida, sin afectar el libre tránsito de los morelianos. En este sentido, Alfonso Martínez comentó que estos trabajos se realizarán fuera de los horarios de mayor tránsito vehicular, de manera que la ciudadanía no se vea afectada por complicaciones viales. Asimismo, especificó que para este proyecto se utilizarán equipos de alta tecnología que permiten reducir los tiempos de aplicación y eliminan los residuos de materiales en las vías públicas, de igual forma se estará reduciendo el personal y los vehículos necesarios para el trabajo operativo tales como camiones de volteo, rodillos y cortadoras, además el sistema de bacheo a alta presión es aplicable en condiciones de frío y humedad. Es de resaltar que con el sistema de alta presión se reduce el tiempo de aplicación de 50 a 10 minutos y se puede abrir la circulación vehicular inmediatamente. El material tiene una durabilidad de aproximadamente 3 años y no se dejan bordes a nivel. La emulsión que se utiliza es con base en agua, por lo que no existen emisiones de gases tóxicos. Finalmente el Presidente Municipal especificó que para realizar estos trabajos de bacheo, se utiliza la tecnología referida con una meta aproximada de ocho mil metros cuadrados, con un espesor promedio de 4.5 cm en cada aplicación.

Luis Alberto Martínez Biografía El bolero "Nuestro juramento" es el mayor éxito de Luis Alberto Martínez, uno de los intérpretes que, junto a Palmenia Pizarro y Ramón Aguilera, están entre las primeras figuras del repertorio popular formado por boleros y valses peruanos en Chile. Otros de sus éxitos son “Hoy se casa” y “Flores para mi madre”. Dueño de lo que algunos medios calificaron como «la voz más triste de Chile», a Martínez también se le recuerda como el padre de la canción cebolla, pues fue su sentido estilo de interpretación el que patentó ese subgénero de canción romántica. Iniciado a la par que Ramón Aguilera en 1962, el cantante ha trabajado entre otros con el Trío Inspiración y Valentín Trujillo. Llegada a Santiago La primera juventud de Luis Alberto Martínez estuvo lejos, geográfica y biográficamente, de los centros disqueros del país. Fanático de la canción romántica, cuando se empleó como jefe de estación de Ollagüe, en pleno altiplano, aprovechaba los tiempos muertos en el trabajo para componer con su guitarra. Sus primeros pasos ante público los dio en bares de Ollagüe, y los buenos resultados lo animaron a trasladarse a Santiago. Durante un tiempo, alternó su oficio de cantante durante la noche con un trabajo diurno de lavador de platos en una fuente de soda de calle Santa Rosa. Según un perfil biográfico publicado en The Clinic, el productor Luciano Galleguillos lo envió recomendado a Rubén Nouzeilles, entonces a cargo de la dirección artística de EMI. En su oficina, Martínez le cantó “Amigo de qué”, bolero popularizado por Julio Jaramillo. «Venga a grabar mañana», fue la respuesta del ejecutivo. Grabó en esas primeras sesiones junto a Valentín Trujillo y Arturo Giolito. «Él tenía su conjunto con guitarras y nosotros le agregamos piano y percusión, siguiendo su línea típicamente popular, en su peculiar interpretación, su fraseo», recordaba Trujillo en la citada nota. «En las palabras fuertes, él aumentaba el volumen de voz y en aquellas que expresaban cariño era muy sutil. Más que cantar, él narraba las canciones». El single “Amigo de qué” / “Cancioncita viajera” fue el fruto de esa primera sesión. En los siguientes dos meses grabaría otros diez temas. El timbre y estilo de Martínez probarían ser irresistibles para el público afín al bolero. Según Rubén Nouzeilles, «tenía lo que más cuesta encontrar en un artista popular, que es lo sencillamente bonito, lo que suena bien, lo que está bien interpretado». Martínez resultaría clave en los inicios de la carrera de Palmenia Pizarro, a quien ayudó a grabar un demo para presentarlo en EMI y a la que llevó en una gira por todo el país. Su marca era reconocible por la sencilla disposición sobre el escenario, pero también por la intencional cercanía al público, opuesta a la escuela de glamour que comenzó por esos años a legitimar la televisión. Como explicaba Joaquín Riveros en The Clinic: «El reino de Martínez estaba enChile, acotado en una corriente del bolero que hasta entonces monopolizaba el ecuatoriano Julio Jaramillo. Era lo que alguien elegamentemente llamó el bolero popular romántico, paralelo al romántico a secas, cuyo gran intérprete en Chile era por lejos Lucho Gatica. Si éste enamoraba a las mujeres con su voz pastosa y engolada, Luis Alberto Martínez las hacía llorar con un repertorio derechamente trágico». La carga sentimental y dramática queda fuera de dudas al leer los títulos de su repertorio: “Flores para mi madre”, “Te vi pasar con otro”, “Calabozo de mis penas”, “Lágrimas de hombre”, “Angustia”, “Llorarás” y la exitosa “Hoy se casa”, todas compuestas por él mismo. Martínez fue un cantante popular y masivo, portada habitual de revistas como Romance y Ritmo. Partida de Chile Un viaje a Bolivia, en 1972, inició el período de alejamiento del cantante de Chile. Allí se casó y no volvió al país sino hasta principios de los años ochenta.
