She embarked on the California Dreams Tour, which grossed nearly $60 million worldwide. She holds his clothes in the dark
rocking them she whispers
her hand falls slowly from her neck
to her left a streetlight dances gently through a window
it hurts to say his name
she swears she can hear him calling her, hey Avery
there between her craving and imagination
it falls into the night
the air is still and he's still calling her, hey Avery
Is there room enough for me, its been so long
Is there something you should say to me, Avery?
pity drives him down, his candle burning out
she thought it was the answer
her pity drives her down, her years are burning out
she thought it was the answer
her cross still hanging in the corner
she's afraid to take it down
it reminds her she's gotta start life over
hey Avery, Is there room enough for me, its been so long
Is there something you should say to me, Avery?
pity drives him down, his candle burning out
she thought it was the answer
her pity drives her down, her years are burning out
she's dying from the answer
she wears his picture on a chain
she prays that the pain won't last forever
and I know that she's still praying
that the pain won't last forever
there between her craving and imagination
it falls into the night
the air is still and he's still calling her, hey Avery
why wasn't there room enough for me?
Gettin so weak
And i wish u understood
How u make me feel
'cause right now i don't feel real
And you don't even listen
To the words that i speak
And the thoughts that i'm havin r gettin me really freaked
And the tears in my eyes
Fall like rain from the sky
Like the planets unligned
And your questioning why
I don't get the point
It just makes no sense
I thought it was the beginning
Have I reached the end
I'm hiding from my friends
How could they understand me
When they do not know me
They can't show me
How to live my life
What is wrong from right
But then again
Who am i
Look back the days
When i tried so hard
Just to fit in
The way i am feeling
All these feelings
Building up in me
Driving me insane
Making me crazy
And never have i
Felt so alone
Where i don't feel the warmth
Inside my home
I used to have ur shoulder to lean on
But somehow
U pulled it away
What do i do now
Then i came to see
What i didn't want to believe
That you
Were never there for me
I needed u
Beside me
But u just
Denied me
Of that feeling
Or love
I wanted you to
Hold me
But instead u
Just told me
U were busy
So i had enough
And now i'm gettin up my strength
Changin my love for u to hate
And mending up my heart
So i can move on
I'm independent
Don't need you
'cause i can see through
All ur bullshit
I've had enough of that
And i don't want to
Belong to
Anyone
Especially u
When u dont have the decency to call
Pick me up if i fall
Or even pretend
Like u care
See ya gotta know what i wanna do
When i'm with you
Can't u see that i wannabe
Next to u
And i dont get whats so great about
Wasting time just making out
Puttin hands up on my chest
Unnh un i dont like that
Can't u see why u gotta be that way
Sometimes I completely adore
Other days just wish i could ignore u
I wanna chill out
wannabe
laid back
like before
lie down
sit around
laugh out
hear me shout
don't care
whatd u say
don't listen anyway
so tell me
baby
y cant
u see
that what u wanna do what u wanna do
Hang at the mall w/ my girls and boiz
Goin in the stores, playin w/ the toiz
Slidin down the hall gluin quarters 2 the ground
Watch the people see em, try to get em, and bend down
Run from the cops and for stealing pennies from the fountain
Hide in the store behind the canfood mountain
Go in a pharmacy and try out all their stuff
If you don't like it well than thats just tuff
Thats what i like to do
Does that appeal to you?
If it doesnt dont change ur mind
It'll be ok
'cause i don't want to
Be with you if ur not being u
So be the first guy to rise above
And not give me
Verse:
Used to be the one girl, sneaking through your window
Thought that maybe you were the one
T-shirt with my chucks on, I was just a skater girl
hoping you were somebody else
i was true, i was faithful
you were always looking for the next girl
you had me wrapped around your finger,
but now i got you figured out
Chorus:
You pull me back and forth
im sick of war,
im finally getting over you
i was caught in your masquerade
your love charade
BOY IM SICK OF HATING YOUR GUTS!!!
oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh
boy im sick of hating your guts
oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh
boy im sick of hating your guts
Verse 2:
Disney got me hoping, for a happy ending,
how stupid was I to believe
woke up to reality, you were just the enemy
captivating me in your scene
i'm always falling for the bad boys,
but you won't catch me on my ass again
you might as well lock up your window,
cauz i ain't ever coming back!!!
Chorus:
You pull me back and forth
im sick of war,
im finally getting over you
i was caught in your masquerade
your love charade
BOY IM SICK OF HATING YOUR GUTS!!!
oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh
boy im sick of hating your guts
oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh
boy im sick of hating your guts
Bridge:
You ain't no superman, boy you're just the opposite
now i'm fighting back with the strength you gave me
i know your motives, boy don't play no hero
cauz the only one your playing is me
Don't play no hero, boy you're just a zero.
Don't play no hero, d-dont play no hero. (x2)
Chorus:
You pull me back and forth
im sick of war,
im finally getting over you
i was caught in your masquerade
your love charade
BOY IM SICK OF HATING YOUR GUTS!!!
oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh
boy im sick of hating your guts
oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh
I came into the party
And i saw u there
Ur baby blue eyes
And spiked up hair
I tried to ignore u
We were along time ago
But no matter how i try to hide it
I know its gonna show
I started to talk with my friends
But then u came over
With some new chick
I wonder how u know her
I wanted to ask u
I even tried
But whenever i'm around u
I get so tonguetied
We were supposed to be
Together
Forever
Forever aint so long no more
We were in love for the longest time
So why now do i get so
Tonguetied
Five months later'
Sittin at home
Drinkin some pepsi
All alone
The telephone rings
I say hello
It turned out to be you
Who woulda known
It was so weird
And i dont know why
U gave me full closure
And i started to cry
We were supposed to be
Together
Forever
Forever aint so long no more
We were in love for the longest time
So why now do i get so
I love hot topic
And to wear cool clothes
Not the trendy types
Like shoes that crush your toes
And i aint got a problem
With Avril Lavigne
In fact
Shes the one who made me
Remember my dream
I don't care if i'm a sk8ter
A punk
Or a prep
I'm just bein me
When we were together
It was perfect
I remember our first kiss
When we first met
All the times we had together
Never compared u w/ other guys
Until i saw
U were full of liez
When u told me u were busy
U were out smokin weed
But i still believed
U had everything i did need
I thought i knew everything about u
U were my best friend
But even the greatest things
Have to come to an end
U were my first love
U were my true love
The one no one could
Rise above
So i just closed my eyes
And looked the other way
Just to hold onto u
One more day
So i spent my nights crying
'cause i was so scared
Where had u gone
Why had u dissapered?
I didn't know
That having company
Could still make someone
Feel this lonely
And i wanted to hold you
And say it was ok
That i'd be there
Everyday
And that u could go out
And do as u please
U had me on a leash
I'd beg on my knees
ALL BECAUSE
U were my first love
U were my true love
The one no one could
Rise above
So i just closed my eyes
And looked the other way
Just to hold onto u
One more day
I will always love u
Unless u say not to
Then i'll try to fight it
Try to hide it
Love me or let me go, go go
Love me or let me go, go go!
Stuck, stuck in your picture perfect fantasy world.
Keep run in circles in your merry go around
So for once, dont try to tell me which way to go,
Whoaa oh
I'm gettin tired of trying to fit your description
Of that girl, shes so barbie shes so fiction.
Wake up, your mind is somewhere stuck in a dream
Whoaa oh
I’m suffacating I need to know
Chorus
If this isn’t real, gimme back all my kisses
I shoulda kept them for somebody else
Baby I’m real, I’m not your plastic princess

I ain't your prom queen
I aint the one u need
I aint some lil ball of clay u can mold
In the palm of ur hand
I dont need protection
Or for u to hold my hand
Or u to stick up for me just 'cause u can
I can do it myself
I can be just a little bit
Of a little bitch when i want 2
I can be that
Lil bitch to you
U know that u
Don't appreciate dont want me
So why u actin
Like u really do?
'cause i'll feel what i want to
Do what i gotta do
Say what i mean
So no to you
Why are u trippin
What r u sippin
If u think
We'd be good
I'll never call ur cell
Make u hurt like hell
Not really care about what u do
Piss u off so bad
Get u really mad
I hear opposites attract
But not in this case
I aint ur type
U know i'm right
So stop playin
Ur foolin urself
Don't wanna end it
Lose our good friendship
I wasted my tears
I wasted my Time
Wishin u were here
And u were mine
I shoulda known
It all came too soon
U came w/ the sun
And left w/ the moon
I wish i had noticed
Ur smiles were distant
Then i would have stopped myself
Before i kept wishin
I wasted my tears
I wasted my time
Wishin u were here
And u were mine
I woke up one day
With u at dawn
I just closed my eyes
And you were gone
I trusted too much
And gave u my heart
But i didn't know
U would break it apart
I wasted my tears
I wasted my time
Wishin u were here
