This video shows the high altitude capability of the T182T Skylane. It is equipped with a flat rated, large 540 cubic inch Lycoming engine, turbo charged.
This specific Skylane is well traveled, several Atlantic crossings and a crossing of the entire Arctic region from Northern Canada to Norway via Spitsbergen.

After a short period of time after getting endorsed to solo, my schedule finally allowed for me to go up on my first solo flight in an airplane. Although not even close to being perfect it was a nice flight to get used to how the aircraft felt with just one person.
My solo flight consisted of at least 8 traffic patterns with touch & go landings. Coming from the helicopter background I felt that it would be most beneficial to work on my takeoff and landings. Like I stated in the video, I need to keep the nice more straight with the runway alignment on landing as to not put any side load on the landing gear. Between that and wanting to float the nice gear longer on landing as well, I had my work cut out for me.
Overall a good flight! Keep the learning coming.

To the aircraft's audio port I plugged in one Y cable. 1/4 male to two 1/4 female. To one end I attached a 1/4 male to 1/8 male converter, with the 1/8 male end plugged in my sound recorder (Sony ICD AX-412). The other 1/4 female port is used to plug in my headset audio cable).

My friends and I are all experienced licensed skydivers. We asked one of our friends to take us up in his Cessna to jump. After taking off we encountered engine issues and were forced into a muddy field. Landing gear ripped off after hitting a ditch/mud and the plane flipped over nose first. Pilot did a good job handling a bad situation once we found ourselves in it.
Thank God the plane did not catch fire after flipping over....Everyone survived with relatively minor injuries...

The Cessna Aircraft Company is an airplane manufacturing corporation headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, USA. Their main products are general aviation aircraft. Although they are the most well known for their small, piston-powered aircraft, they also produce business jets. The company is a subsidiary of the U.S. conglomerate Textron.
The company traces its history to June 1911, when Clyde Cessna, a farmer in Rago, Kansas, built a wood-and-fabric plane and became the first person to build and fly an aircraft between the Mississippi River and the Rocky Mountains. Cessna started his aircraft ventures in Enid, Oklahoma, testing many of his early planes on the salt flats. When bankers in Enid refused to lend him more money to build his planes, he moved to Wichita.
Cessna Aircraft was formed in 1927 when Clyde Cessna and Victor Roos became partners in the Cessna-Roos Aircraft Company. Roos resigned just one month into the partnership selling back his interest to Cessna. In the same year, the Secretary of State approved a name change to Cessna Aircraft Company. The Cessna DC-6 earned certification on October 29, 1929, sharing this day in history with the stock market crash of 1929.

My friends and I are all experienced licensed skydivers. We asked one of our friends to take us up in his Cessna to jump. After taking off we encountered engine issues and were forced into a muddy field. Landing gear ripped off after hitting a ditch/mud and the plane flipped over nose first. Pilot did a good job handling a bad situation once we found ourselves in it. Thank God the plane did not catch fire after flipping over....Everyone survived with relatively minor injuries... Cessna Skylane at 19,000ft - cockpit video - must see!
This video shows the high altitude capability of the T182T Skylane. It is equipped with a flat rated, large 540 cubic inch Lycoming engine, turbo charged. This specific Skylane is well traveled, several Atlantic crossings and a crossing of the entire Arctic region from Northern Canada to Norway via Spitsbergen. Day 4 - Solo flight in a Cessna 172
After a short period of time after getting endorsed to solo, my schedule finally allowed for me to go up on my first solo flight in an airplane. Although not even close to being perfect it was a nice flight to get used to how the aircraft felt with just one person. My solo flight consisted of at least 8 traffic patterns with touch & go landings. Coming from the helicopter background I felt that it would be most beneficial to work on my takeoff and landings. Like I stated in the video, I need to keep the nice more straight with the runway alignment on landing as to not put any side load on the landing gear. Between that and wanting to float the nice gear longer on landing as well, I had my work cut out for me. Overall a good flight! Keep the learning coming. -

My friends and I are all experienced licensed skydivers. We asked one of our friends to take us up in his Cessna to jump. After taking off we encountered engine issues and were forced into a muddy field. Landing gear ripped off after hitting a ditch/mud and the plane flipped over nose first. Pilot did a good job handling a bad situation once we found ourselves in it.
Thank God the plane did not catch fire after flipping over....Everyone survived with relatively minor injuries...
