Biography:
Rammstein were formed in 1993 by an assembly of factory-weary proletarians raised in East Germany. They took their name (adding an "m") from the location of a German tragedy where 80 people were hurt and killed as the result of a crash during an American Air Force flight show.
(The literal translation of "ram stein" is a battering ram made of stone.) Word of Rammstein's horror/romanticist blend of theater and music -- one-time Olympic swimmer Till Lindemann would sing entire songs engulfed in flame from head to toe -- spread quickly. The band's first album, Herzeleid (Heartache), built on the grounds created by the band's live reputation. Scaling the German charts (and remaining there until the release of the second Rammstein LP some two years later), the album also introduced the band to the world outside of the Germany/Switzerland/Austria region. As Rammstein's second album, Sehnsucht (Longing), was released, the band was headlining throughout Europe to crowds of 10,000 to 30,000 people. Sehnsucht entered the German charts at number one immediately upon its release and came very close to doing the same in Austria and Switzerland. Within weeks, entries on other countries' charts had Sehnsucht rubbing elbows with the Prodigy, Radiohead, and the Rolling Stones on Billboard's cumulative Eurochart. From there the fever spread, transcending any perceived language barrier. Mutter followed in 2001, Reise, Reise in 2004, and the live collection Volkerball in 2006. Friedrich Engels (German pronunciation: [ˈfʁiːdʁɪç ˈɛŋəls]; 28 November 1820 – 5 August 1895) was a German-English industrialist, social scientist, author, political theorist, philosopher, and father of Marxist theory, alongside Karl Marx. In 1845 he published The Condition of the Working Class in England, based on personal observations and research. In 1848 he co-authored The Communist Manifesto with Karl Marx, and later he supported Marx financially to do research and write Das Kapital. After Marx's death Engels edited the second and third volumes. Additionally, Engels organized Marx's notes on the "Theories of Surplus Value" and this was later published as the "fourth volume" of Capital.
Friedrich (Frederick) Engels was born on November 28, 1820 in Barmen, Prussia (now Wuppertal, Germany). At the time, Barmen was an expanding industrial metropole and Frederick was the eldest son of a wealthy German cotton manufacturer. As his father, Friederich Sr., was a Methodist. Accordingly, Fredrick was raised Christian Pietist. As he grew up, his relationship with his parents became strained because of his atheist beliefs. Parental disapproval of his revolutionary activities is recorded in an October, 1848 letter from his mother, Elizabeth Engels. In this letter his mother berates him for having "really gone too far" and "begged" him "to proceed no further.". "You have paid more heed to other people, to strangers, and have taken no account of your mother's pleas. God alone knows what I have felt and suffered of late. I was trembling when I picked up the newspaper and saw therein that a warrant was out for my son's arrest." At the point this letter was written Frederick Engels was in hiding in Brussels, Belgium and was soon to make his way to Switzerland and then in 1849 make his way back into Germany to participate in the revolutionary uprising in Baden and Palatinate.

Pablo Hasél is a Spanish rapper, MC and poet. He was born in Lleida, Spain, in 1989. He's a communist[citation needed], and is the son of the owner of the former football team UE Lleida.[citation needed]
In his compositions, he speaks about politics, because he is communist. He also sings about social criticism, personal topics and subjects that ridicule everything; but above all he is pacifist[citation needed].
He has worked as a rapper since 2005, as well as with others rappers, like Cíniko, Keny Arkana, Los Chikos del Maíz and Charly Efe.
He was arrested in Lleida in October 2011 for praising terrorism, due to his connection with GRAPO, a Maoist group.

Pierre David Guetta (7 November 1967), known professionally as David Guetta (French pronunciation: [daˌvid ɡɛˈta]), is a French house music producer and DJ. Originally a DJ at nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s, he co-founded Gum Productions and released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007). His 2009 album One Love included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over" (featuring Kelly Rowland), "Gettin' Over You" (featuring Chris Willis, Fergie & LMFAO) and "Sexy Bitch" (featuring Akon), the last becoming a top five hit in the United States and all three reaching #1 in the United Kingdom, as well as another internationally known single called "Memories" featuring Kid Cudi which became a top five hit in many countries. Guetta has sold over three million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. He is currently one of the most sought-after music producers. Hallo meine Lieben, wie bereits angekündigt geht heute ein ganz besonderes Video online. Lasst es einfach auf euch wirken. Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dieses war der schwierigste Dreh, den wir jemals hatten. Murat und mir ist das Video so wichtig, dass Murat auch selbst mit vor die Kamera kam. Das hätte er wirklich nicht gemacht, wenn es ihm nicht so wichtig wäre. Vor kurzem habe ich eine kleine Videobotschaft von der Cakeworld Messe in Hamburg an Ilayda gesendet. Seit diesem Tag beschäftigen wir uns mit dem Krankheitsverlauf von Ilayda. Sie ist 10 Jahre jung und kämpft seit 4 Jahren gegen die tödliche Krankheit Leukämie und kämpft um ihr junges, kleines Leben. Ilayda ist ein wirklich starkes Kind. Durch ihre Spendenaufrufaktion vor 3 Jahren hat sie insgesamt über 25.000 Menschen dazu bewegt sich bei der DKMS registrieren zu lassen. Über 40 dieser registrierten Menschen haben sich anschließend bei Ilaydas Familie gemeldet, um ihnen mitzuteilen, dass sie Knochenmark spenden durften. Ilayda hat somit wahrscheinlich mindestens 40 Menschen eine Therapie durch Knochenmark ermöglicht und so viele Leben gerettet. Nur für sie selbst gab es damals keinen passenden Spender. Bisher haben alle Therapien und Behandlungen durch Chemotherapie und Antikörper Therapie nicht angeschlagen, der Krebs kam immer wieder zurück. Für Ilayda gibt es in Deutschland keine Chance mehr zu überleben. Die einzige Chance Ilayda das Leben zu retten bietet eine Therapie (Car T Cells) in Seattle, USA. Diese Behandlung wird in Deutschland nicht durchgeführt. Von insgesamt 30 Kindern, die dort behandelt wurden, überlebten 27. Die Kosten für die Behandlung muss Ilaydas Familie selbst tragen und werden nicht von der Krankenkasse übernommen, weil es in Deutschland hierzu keine Studien gibt. Murat, ich und mein gesamtes Team möchten gerne alles tun, und all unsere Reichweite nutzen, um gemeinsam mit den Eltern diesem kleinen starken Mädchen das Leben zu retten. Stundenlang saßen wir mit den Eltern zusammen und haben uns ihr Schicksal angehört. Es gibt keinen anderen Ausweg und keine andere Möglichkeit als die Therapie in den USA. Wenn Ilayda nicht in den nächsten Wochen therapiert wird, wird sie nicht überleben. Das Video kann nicht ausdrücken, wie dramatisch die Lage ist. Wir wussten selbst nicht wie wir das Video drehen sollten, weil zu viele Emotionen im Spiel sind und wir nicht wissen, wie wir damit umgehen sollen. Bitte helft uns dabei. Plot: The story takes place in the sixties, at a children's pioneer league masquerade ball. The protagonist, still in his adolescence at the time - though when he is telling the story he is an adult already - prepares to emigrate, but before, for the last time he would like to be carefreely happy in the swirling crowd of the ball - to say farewell to everything he is leaving behind. And in this crowd, amidst his masqueraded mates, he seems to recognise his family: his parents, grandmother, and grandfather. As he recalls the events of the family's history, they come alive. The ambience of the party and the farewell evokes the well-known situations embedded in the family history from the sixties - the under blanket collective listening to Free Europe Radio, family card games, the fright of nightly searches by the authorities, childhood toys, the first car in the neighbourhood, the divorce trial, the moments of liberation and homecoming. Because of the animated memories and his impressions of the pioneer league ball, our hero decides, after all the pros and cons to stay. Because he is happy here on this ball and nothing can take this away or replace it.

Scaling the German charts (and remaining there until the release of the second Rammstein LP some two years later), the album also introduced the band to the world outside of the Germany/Switzerland/Austria region. As Rammstein's second album, Sehnsucht (Longing), was released, the band was headlining throughout Europe to crowds of 10,000 to 30,000 people. Sehnsucht entered the German charts at number one immediately upon its release and came very close to doing the same in Austria and Switzerland. Within weeks, entries on other countries' charts had Sehnsucht rubbing elbows with the Prodigy, Radiohead, and the Rolling Stones on Billboard's cumulative Eurochart. From there the fever spread, transcending any perceived language barrier. Mutter followed in 2001, Reise, Reise in 2004, and the live collection Volkerball in 2006. Hallo meine Lieben,
wie bereits angekündigt geht heute ein ganz besonderes Video online. Lasst es einfach auf euch wirken. Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dieses war der schwierigste Dreh, den wir jemals hatten. Murat und mir ist das Video so wichtig, dass Murat auch selbst mit vor die Kamera kam. Das hätte er wirklich nicht gemacht, wenn es ihm nicht so wichtig wäre.
Vor kurzem habe ich eine kleine Videobotschaft von der Cakeworld Messe in Hamburg an Ilayda gesendet. Seit diesem Tag beschäftigen wir uns mit dem Krankheitsverlauf von Ilayda. Sie ist 10 Jahre jung und kämpft seit 4 Jahren gegen die tödliche Krankheit Leukämie und kämpft um ihr junges, kleines Leben.
Ilayda ist ein wirklich starkes Kind. Durch ihre Spendenaufrufaktion vor 3 Jahren hat sie insgesamt über 25.000 Menschen dazu bewegt sich bei der DKMS registrieren zu lassen. Über 40 dieser registrierten Menschen haben sich anschließend bei Ilaydas Familie gemeldet, um ihnen mitzuteilen, dass sie Knochenmark spenden durften. Ilayda hat somit wahrscheinlich mindestens 40 Menschen eine Therapie durch Knochenmark ermöglicht und so viele Leben gerettet. Nur für sie selbst gab es damals keinen passenden Spender.
Bisher haben alle Therapien und Behandlungen durch Chemotherapie und Antikörper Therapie nicht angeschlagen, der Krebs kam immer wieder zurück. Für Ilayda gibt es in Deutschland keine Chance mehr zu überleben. Die einzige Chance Ilayda das Leben zu retten bietet eine Therapie (Car T Cells) in Seattle, USA. Diese Behandlung wird in Deutschland nicht durchgeführt. Von insgesamt 30 Kindern, die dort behandelt wurden, überlebten 27.
Die Kosten für die Behandlung muss Ilaydas Familie selbst tragen und werden nicht von der Krankenkasse übernommen, weil es in Deutschland hierzu keine Studien gibt.
Murat, ich und mein gesamtes Team möchten gerne alles tun, und all unsere Reichweite nutzen, um gemeinsam mit den Eltern diesem kleinen starken Mädchen das Leben zu retten. Stundenlang saßen wir mit den Eltern zusammen und haben uns ihr Schicksal angehört. Es gibt keinen anderen Ausweg und keine andere Möglichkeit als die Therapie in den USA. Wenn Ilayda nicht in den nächsten Wochen therapiert wird, wird sie nicht überleben.
Das Video kann nicht ausdrücken, wie dramatisch die Lage ist. Wir wussten selbst nicht wie wir das Video drehen sollten, weil zu viele Emotionen im Spiel sind und wir nicht wissen, wie wir damit umgehen sollen. Bitte helft uns dabei. Alleine schaffen wir es nicht.

In 1848 he co-authored The Communist Manifesto with Karl Marx, and later he supported Marx financially to do research and write Das Kapital. After Marx's death Engels edited the second and third volumes. Additionally, Engels organized Marx's notes on the "Theories of Surplus Value" and this was later published as the "fourth volume" of Capital.[1] He has also made important contributions to family economics.
EARLY YEARS
Friedrich (Frederick) Engels was born on November 28, 1820 in Barmen, Prussia (now Wuppertal, Germany).[2] At the time, Barmen was an expanding industrial metropole and Frederick was the eldest son of a wealthy German cotton manufacturer. His father, Friederich, Sr., was an evangelical.[3] Accordingly, Engels was raised Christian Pietist. As he grew up, his relationship with his parents became strained because of his atheist beliefs.[4] Parental disapproval of his revolutionary activities is recorded in an October, 1848 letter from his mother, Elizabeth Engels.[5] In this letter his mother berates him for having "really gone too far" and "begged" him "to proceed no further.".[6] "You have paid more heed to other people, to strangers, and have taken no account of your mother's pleas. God alone knows what I have felt and suffered of late. I was trembling when I picked up the newspaper and saw therein that a warrant was out for my son's arrest."[7] At the time this letter was written, Frederick Engels was in hiding in Brussels, Belgium, soon to make his way to Switzerland and then, in 1849, back into Germany for participation in the Baden and Palatinate revolutionary uprising.
When he was 17 years of age, young Frederick had dropped out of high school due to family circumstances. He spent a year at Barmen, and in 1838, was sent by his father to work as a nonsalaried office clerk at a commercial house in Bremen.[8][9] His parents expected that he would begin a career in business like his father therefore Frederick's revolutionary activities were a definite disappointment to them.
Whilst at Bremen, Engels began reading the philosophy of Hegel, whose teachings had dominated German philosophy at the time. In September 1838, he published his first work, a poem entitled The Bedouin, in the Bremisches Conversationsblatt No. 40. He also engaged in other literary and journalistic work.[10][11]
In 1841, Engels joined the Prussian Army as a member of the Household Artillery. This position moved him to Berlin where he attended university lectures and began to associate with groups of Young Hegelians. He anonymously published articles in the Rheinische Zeitung exposing the employment and living conditions that factory workers had to endure.[9] Editor of the Rheinische Zeitung was Karl Marx. However, Engels never met Karl Marx until they had a brief encounter near the end of November 1842.[12] Throughout his lifetime, Engels would point out that he was indebted to German philosophy because of its effect on his intellectual development.[8] A quotation of his from that period states: "To get the most out of life you must be active, you must live and you must have the courage to taste the thrill of being young ... [WM]: True, true, they don't. They're as ignorant as I was, and if they're out there listening, I'd like to say that you can follow the exact same path I have followed. Now that you know the truth about the Craft--whether you believe me or not--you should go out and verify for yourself. [WC]: Not only that, but once you do know about it, you are no longer innocent, but you are...if you don't do something about it, or leave the Lodge, or do as this young gentleman is doing, help us to relieve ourselves from the yolk of these secret societies who are planning on stripping us of our freedoms and our rights. And the purpose of this show is to prevent bloodshed. We want to wake people up and do something about this while we can, legally and lawfully. Anybody with half a brain can look around and talk to people, and see that that day is going to come. Because nothing is getting better, it's only getting worse, and we don't want that to happen. That's why we're doing this. That's why I've dedicated my life, and that's why I've suffered so much in my life, to try and wake people up, is to prevent that kind of thing. And they are dead set on seeing their dream come true, aren't they, Will?
[WM]: They have dedicated their lives, their labors and, indeed, their entire faith to this, and you have not exaggerated or overrated the problem at all. This is dangerous, people. These men mean business. The Scottish Rite themselves have taken a public stance totally in support of public education by the government. Now, all you need to do is look at how screwed up your schools are, and then turn around and look at how screwed up your kids are, and you've got a big, big, rich organization out there with incredible political power and widespread influence that is supporting this current failed system. This is just one, isolated example. If you are not part of the solution and you have even been, just [a tiny bit] exposed to the truth, then you are part of the problem.
[WC]: That's correct, and we know that public education, conducted and supervised and organized and funded by the government, is one of the planks of the Communist Manifesto, written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Now, why would Americans ever support such a thing? The strength of our educational system, before it began to self-destruct, was that is always handled, funded, and governed, and maintained, and approved, and anything else on a local level. In other words, the school system in my town might be different from the school system in someone else's town a hundred miles away, but it would controlled, governed, decided, textbooks would be chosen, everything, on a local level. Our schools did not begin to self-destruct until the state got into the school system, and then the federal government began to poke into it and, specifically, when teachers' colleges by the Carnegie, the Ford and the Rockefeller Institutes began to change what they taught teachers to teach children. And when that happened, when it became an organized, funded, dictated to, type thing [sic], then it began to fall apart. And the less control on the local level, the less our children are educated.
[WM]: You've hit the nail right on the head. As you've stated in your own book, Behold a Pale Horse, the true enemy is not Communism, but Illuminism.

◥ OBJETIVO DO CURSO
O objetivo deste curso é apresentar alguns autores importantes da sociologia marxista da religião, dando particular enfase à cientistas sociais que geralmente não são considerados como "sociólogos da religião". A reflexão marxista sobre a religião não pode ser reduzia a clássica fórmula "o ópio do povo". Não só os escritos de Marx e Engels sugerem uma visão bem mais rica e complexa dos fatos religiosos, mas existe uma grande diversidade de enfoques, com um caráter interdisciplinar, na nebulosa do pensamento marxista do 20.
Este é um aspecto geralmente ignorado nos programas de sociologia da religião, mas também nos estudos sobre a historia do pensamento marxista. Vários dos autores aqui discutidos são marxistas "heterodoxos" e suas interpretações de fenômenos religiosos são bastante inovadores em relação aos "clássicos", mesmo se ha uma continuidade ao nível metodológico. Em um fragmento descoberto recentemente, datado de 1921, Walter Benjamin utiliza uma expressão de Ernst Bloch para analisar, partindo de Max Weber, o capitalismo como religião.
➍ Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937): marxismo e religião (15 de outubro de 2014)
Em seus escritos de juventude Gramsci se interessa pelo potencial utópico da religião, mas no Escritos do Carcere seu tema é o papel conservador da Igreja, e em particular dos Jesuítas, na Itália.

◥ OBJETIVO DO CURSO
O objetivo deste curso é apresentar alguns autores importantes da sociologia marxista da religião, dando particular enfase à cientistas sociais que geralmente não são considerados como "sociólogos da religião". A reflexão marxista sobre a religião não pode ser reduzia a clássica fórmula "o ópio do povo". Não só os escritos de Marx e Engels sugerem uma visão bem mais rica e complexa dos fatos religiosos, mas existe uma grande diversidade de enfoques, com um caráter interdisciplinar, na nebulosa do pensamento marxista do 20.
Este é um aspecto geralmente ignorado nos programas de sociologia da religião, mas também nos estudos sobre a historia do pensamento marxista. Vários dos autores aqui discutidos são marxistas "heterodoxos" e suas interpretações de fenômenos religiosos são bastante inovadores em relação aos "clássicos", mesmo se ha uma continuidade ao nível metodológico.
