About Renegade Economists

Economics needs to recognise it is a science, a science that accepts the earth is not flat.

Most people spend their life trying to be financially successful. But too many have been taught to ignore the economic rules of engagement. Mainstreamers are convinced it is too hard to understand the laws of economics, and thats just how the well-connected like it. Instead society prefers to be stuck in a system that penalises workers, whilst giving a free pass to speculators and polluters.

Join host Karl Fitzgerald for a weekly conversation on reforming economics, where the natural advantages of landlords, banksters and monopolists are placed under the microscope. Policy reforms are a central plank to the show, capable of calling neo-liberals to account.
