Privacy and Reporting

Up to 6 of the Pages that you like can appear in the Likes section on the left side of your Timeline.

From here, you can:

  • See all the Pages you like by clicking Likes
  • Hide the section from your Timeline by hovering over Likes, clicking and selecting Hide Section
  • Choose who can see the Pages you like by category by hovering over Likes, clicking and selecting Edit Privacy

Keep in mind that the Pages you like can also appear in the About section of your profile. Learn how to choose who can see the Pages you've liked in your About section.

You can select an audience for each section of likes on your About page:

  1. Go to your profile and click About below your cover photo
  2. Scroll down to your Likes section and click
  3. Select Edit Privacy
  4. Click the audience selector to select who can see what you've liked in each section
  5. Click Close

Note: When you share something on your Timeline, the audience you choose can also see it other places on Facebook, such as in News Feed and search.

Facebook Pages are public spaces. Anyone who can see the Page can see your post or comment. Also, when you post or comment on a Page, a story can be published in News Feed as well as other places around Facebook.

Tagging a Page in a photo doesn't change photo privacy. People won't see your photo on the Page unless they're already able to see it based on its privacy setting. If your photo is visible to the people who manage the Page, they'll be notified of the photo tag.

Once you block a Page, that Page can no longer interact with your posts or like or reply to your comments. You won't be able to post on the Page or message the Page and, if you currently like the Page, you'll unlike and unfollow it.

To block a Page:

  1. Go to the Page you want to block
  2. Click on the Page's cover photo
  3. Select Block Page

To unblock a Page:

  1. Click in the top right of Facebook and select Settings
  2. Click Blocking in the left column
  3. In the Block Pages section, click Unblock next to the Page's name

To report a Page:

  1. Go to the Page you want to report
  2. Click on the Page's cover photo
  3. Select Report Page
  4. Choose the option that best describes the issue and follow the on-screen instructions

We'll review the Page and remove anything that doesn't follow the Facebook Community Standards. We may also warn or disable the person responsible.
