Dharmendra Singh Deol (Hindi: धर्मेंद्र सिंह देओल, Punjabi: ਧਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਿਉਲ, born 8 December 1935 in Nasrali, Ludhiana (India)|Punjab, better known as Dharmendra, is an award-winning Hindi film actor who has appeared in more than 247 Hindi-language films as of 2011. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Hindi cinema and also another Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2007 IIFA Awards.
He is often referred to as the "He-Man" as well as the "Action King" of Hindi cinema, having starred in numerous action films, and is considered a living legend. He is father of actors Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Esha Deol. At the peak of his film career he was considered the most handsome actor in Bollywood and a matinée idol. He was one of the lead actors of the all-time blockbuster Sholay (1975), and went on to star in numerous successful Bollywood films across five decades. Dharmendra has thus established himself as one of the most prominent figures in the history of Hindi cinema.
Plot
Om Prakash Makhija is a Junior Artiste in Bollywood, who is infatuated with actress Shantipriya, and hopes to marry her someday. His hopes come to reality when he rescues her from a fire and they go on a date. Shortly thereafter he finds out that she is married to a film producer, Mukesh Mehra, and is expecting his child. He then watches in horror as Mukesh, after luring her in an abandoned studio, sets it afire. Om attempts to rescue her in vain, and he eventually is killed. 30 years later, Om is reborn as the only son of yesteryear Bollywood actor, Rajesh Kapoor, and is himself an actor. His memories start to return when he meets with his widowed mother, Bela, from his previous birth. He also meets with Mukesh and together they decide to make a movie 'Om Shanti Om'. Om then hires a look-alike of Shantipriya, and hopes to force a confession out of Mukesh - but things go awry and Om finds his life endangered once again.

Plot
Harikrishnan is the adopted brother of Karuna. In an accident Karunan loses his right hand and now it is the duty of Harikrishnan to look after his family. Though Hari is an engineering graduate, he gets no job and he turns to the profession of Karunan - To light the crackers at the temple festivals. Hari needs some money for the wedding of Karunan's sister Sreekutty. At the bank, where he goes to get a loan, he meets Ganga, the daughter of Raghavendra Sett, a millionaire. Accidently, their mobile phones got exchanged there and they started getting misleading calls...
Plot
A zamindar and his family called "The Sooryavansh family" of Bharathpur village has a God like image among the villagers. This generation is headed by Thakur Bhanupratap Singh. He has 3 sons, the youngest, Heera he considers to be the black sheep, and most illiterate of the family, and he will not have anything to do with him. Deshraj Thakur, a village badman goes to jail as a result of the judgement given by the Panchayat headed by Bhanu Pratap and ignoring his own misdeeds develops vengeance against Bhanu Pratap. Bhanupratap is enraged when Heera proposes to marry his ward, Gauri; and even more angered when Heera flip-flops, albeit at the request of Gauri, and refuses to marry her. Heera is shunned by one and all in the family, including Gauri. And then Radha enters his life; she marries him; encourages him to live independently; and helps his business flourish. Soon they are blessed with birth of a son. In a strange situation Bhanu Pratap meets his grandson and friendship blossoms then. Heera fulfills his father's dream of a charitable hospital for the poor and named it after his father. This makes Bhanu Pratap feel proud of his son. Gradually, love takes place in the mind of Bhanu Pratap substituting hatred for Heera and his family. Deshraj plans to kill Bhanu Pratap through his innocent grandson by mixing poison in the 'kheer' the boy is carrying for his grandfather, and wants to put the blame on Heera. The poisoned Bhanu Pratap is hospitalized. Cunning Deshraj succeeds in convincing the people that Heera has planned to kill his father and thereby wants to eliminate Bhanu Pratap and provokes people against Heera. Suddenly Bhanu Pratap enters the scene and unfolds the evil designs of Deshraj Thakur to the villagers. Both the father and son are united once again.
The Saga Rises
Plot
Vishwanath is a multi-millionaire industrialist, who lives in a palatial house, with his only chid, a son named Vijay. Vijay has been literally born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and indulges in life's temptations and weaknesses to the extreme. Vishwanath would like his son to get married and be responsible. Vijay agrees to get married on condition that his future bride sign an agreement that the marriage is on a trial basis for one year, and thereafter is Vijay does not fall in love with her, the marriage gets annulled. Vishwanath asks his personal assistant, Megha, to quit her job and marry Vijay, but Megha refuses. Megha comes from a poor family, consisting of her mom, two other sisters, and one brother. Megha reconsiders this offer, and asks for financial support for her mom and siblings, to which Vishwanath agrees to, and as a result Vijay and Megha are married. After the marriage, Vijay and Megha do become friends, and Megha goes out of her way to look after Vijay when he meets with an accident. At the end of the year, however, Vijay decides to annul the marriage, as had been agreed upon. Megha leaves Vijay and returns home. Then complications arise when Megha gets pregnant, and her family and people in the community start to question her living with her mom, and who the biological father is.
