Plot
Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous, given that Hazel's other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.
One sick love story
Plot
Set in modern day New York City, "A New York Love Story" tells the tale of two artists, a dancer and a painter. They meet, and instantly fall for each other. Then... Neither one ready to live in a world of commitment, they decide to be in an open relationship. They connect through their creative force and sexual drive. The dancer enjoys this new freedom in a relationship, but slowly feels that she might be lying to herself. The Painter, prolific in his work, finds himself falling for The Dancer, but can't seem to make her the singular focus of his life. As they both move through the highs and lows of a creative and open relationship, they find they may have gotten more than the simplicity for which they bargained, as everything comes with a price.

Little child , I have found
If I stood up and looked around
I'd see a brand new face staring right back at me
I believe , I am sure
That I'm taller then I was before
Building a brand new bridge into sincerity
But it's the times like this , we must learn to grow
Throw a penny for my children , they are going down
When the light shines down much brighter , many souls are found
And can't believe what they're saying in the overground
Throw a penny for my children going down
Listen to the wise man as he breathes
He's really loving me (loving me)
He must be loving me (loving me)
At night I turn my face into the wind
And I whisper secretly , what means the most to me
And bring him close
Make it bad , make it good
Make it easy to be understood
I see a velvet day breaking across the sky
I believe , I am sure
I am taller then I was before
Building a brand new bridge
I know I'm gonna try
But it's the times like this , we must find out why
Throw a penny for my children they are going down
When the light shines down much brighter , many souls are found
And I can't believe what they're saying in the overground
Throw a penny for my children going down
Throw a penny for my children , for my children going down
Throw a penny for my children , for my children going down
Throw a penny for my children , for my children going down

Speak easy when you speak of leavin' here
Try not to talk too loud, yeah
Take your time when you walk away from here
Try not to take too long, yeah
Sometimes this love feels just like a big wheel
It keeps turnin', turnin' down the avenue
Sometimes it goes up, sometimes we go down
Sometimes we just don't know what to feel
For our love is only perfect for a very short time
So I'll, I'll let you go
And I'll, I'll watch you fall
And I'll, I'll push you deeper than
You've ever been pushed before
For our love is only perfect
For a very short time
Said our love, it's only perfect
So come on throw another penny down the river bed
We'll see if it comes out shinin' and bright
Throw another penny down the river bed
We'll see if it comes out shinin' and bright
And I'll, I'll let you go
And I'll, I'll watch you fall
And I'll, I'll push you deeper than
You've ever been pushed before
Throw another penny down the river bed
See if it comes out shinin'
(You've ever been pushed before)
Throw another penny down the river bed
See if it comes out shinin'
Throw another penny down the river bed
See if it comes out shinin'
Throw another penny down the river bed
Simply put I'm satisfied just to hear you speak
And holding on to what you said last time, here with me
I remember listening to passing cars, on our backs staring at the stars
And I survive by these memories, these memories of you
So I'll press my face against the pane
Of the window as I watch you drive away
The glass is still stained in my bedroom
Where you wrote 'I Love You' with your lipstick
And once again I'm left here fighting tears away
The glass is still stained in my bedroom
Where you wrote 'I Love You' with your lipstick
And once again I'm left here fighting tears away
The glass is still stained in my bedroom
Where you wrote 'I Love You' with your lipstick
And once again I'm left here fighting tears away
The glass is still stained in my bedroom
Where you wrote 'I Love You' with your lipstick
