This year’s Eisenberg lecture in Public History will be given by Dame Helen Ghosh, Director-General of the National Trust. The lecture is free and open to all to attend.

Using Film as a Source

The IHR, in conjunction with Manchester University Press, has recently published the first of its new research guides. Among other things, it deals with different kinds of moving images, how to explore visual sources, how to undertake archival film-related research and how to use film theory.
