Psyence Fiction is the debut album by the group Unkle, released in 1998 for Mo'Wax.

Notes

"Unreal" is an instrumental version of the song "Be There" (featuring Ian Brown), which was released a year later as a single. On some early presses of the album, instrumental versions of "Guns Blazing" and "The Knock" were added as tracks 13 and 14. On some re-releases of this album, "Be There" was added as track 13. Some versions (mainly the Japanese release, but also the US promotional copy) contain the hidden track "Intro (optional)" as "track zero", which is actually the pre-gap (index 0) of track 1. This can be accessed by "rewinding" the first track on some CD players.

"Lonely Soul" was featured in an Assassin's Creed trailer for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. It was also featured on the soundtrack to the film The Beach, in the first episode of Misfits and in the Person of Interest episode "Matsya Nyaya".

Psyence Fiction reached #4 on the UK album charts, and #107 on US Billboard 200. It also debuted at #15 in Australia.

Outro (video gaming)

In video gaming, the term "outro" refers to a sequence of graphics and music presented to the player as a reward for successful completion of the entire game. Outros are also commonly referred to as the game's ending. They can range from anywhere between a simple text message congratulating the player for beating the game, to a full cutscene that serves to bring the game's storyline to a conclusion (similar to the ending of a movie).

The word "outro" is a portmanteau of the words "out" and "intro", short for introductory sequence. The term is also sometimes used in the demoscene to refer to the final part of a demo (the opposite of an intro).

Generally, the complexity of the outro correlates with the type of game. Games with in-depth storylines and characters, such as RPGs or adventure games, often have relatively long and complicated outros, which action-oriented games such as platforming games or first person shooters generally have shorter outros, sometimes being nothing more than a simple "congratulations, you win!" message. This is not always true, of course. Some heavily action-focused role-playing video games, such as the Diablo series, have a relatively short and straightforward ending, while some story-driven action games, such as No One Lives Forever, have a relatively long and complex ending.

Independent circuit

In professional wrestling, the independent circuit or indie circuit is the collective name of independent professional wrestling promotions which are smaller than major televised promotions (such as WWE or TNA). It is roughly analogous to a minor league for pro wrestling, or community or regional theatre.

Specific promotions on the independent circuit are referred to as indie promotions or indies. A wrestler is said to be in the indies or working the indies if he or she is wrestling in one of the independent promotions, or working the indie circuit if he or she is performing in different independent promotions.

Origins

The indie scene in the United States dates back to the days of regional territories. When a promoter ran opposition in even one town controlled by a National Wrestling Alliance sanctioned territory, they were often called an "outlaw" territory. This is considered by some to be a forerunner to indies since some stars of the past got their start in these low quality local rivals to the big regional territories.

Motograter

Motograter is an American nu metal band formed in 1995. They are best known for their homemade instrument, the "Motograter", designed with industrial cable and guitar pieces that creates a unique bass sound. The band is also known for painting themselves in a tribal style body paint for live concerts.

Under the band's original line-up, they released two EPs, Hugh Chardon and Indy. Original singer Zak Ward left the band in 2002 and was replaced by Ivan "Ghost" Moody. Motograter released their only studio album Motograter in 2003. The band went on hiatus in 2005, disbanded after playing a one-time reunion show in 2006, and then reformed with a new line-up in 2008, featuring singer Michael "Angel" Woodruff. They released the EP Pre-Release in 2009, and toured until the band's second split up in 2011. The band reunited again in 2014, performing at Slipknot's Knotfest that same year. In January 2015, Motograter parted ways with Woodruff and soon after announced James Anthony Legion as vocalist. Motograter announced the recording of their sophomore album, tentatively slated for production in late 2015 or early 2016. Ahrue Luster (Ill Nino, Machine Head, Terror Universal) has been announced as overseeing production on the new album.

1990 Indianapolis 500

The 74th Indianapolis 500 was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 27, 1990. Dutchman Arie Luyendyk took the lead with 32 laps to go, and earned his first-ever victory in championship-level competition. It was the second consecutive year the Indy 500 was won by a foreign-born competitor, the first time that had occurred since 1965–1966. Luyendyk completed the 500 miles at an average speed of 185.981 mph (299.307 km/h), a record that stood for 23 years until 2013. In reference to the long-standing speed record, the 1990 race had often been referred to as "The Fastest 500."

Defending champion and race pole-sitter Emerson Fittipaldi dominated the first half of the race, looking to become the first back-to-back winner in 20 years. In the second half of the race, however, he fell victim to blistering tires, lost a lap, and wound up finishing third. Bobby Rahal, the 1986 winner, was in position to win his second Indy 500, but he too suffered handling problems, which dropped him to second at the finish.
