UNFD is extremely proud to announce the signing of Sydney metal band STORIES, who were the subject of a viral teaser video last week on our YouTube Channel. To celebrate the announcement, we're stoked to release a new single called "Dreamwork" on January 30th. Stories will tour the East Coast on their "Dreamwork" tour throughout February and March.
STORIES formed on the Northern Beaches of Sydney in 2012. Despite being under the age of 20, the five piece has managed to tour all over Australia with a host of international and local bands. Their debut EP "Void" was released in 2013 as a free download, and has garnered more than 40,000 downloads to date.
As well as signing to the UNFD label, Stories have will join the Unified management roster, alongside acts like Vance Joy, The Amity Affliction, Illy, Violent Soho and Northlane. Co-Managing the project will be Luke Logemann and Northlane guitarist Josh Smith, the same team behind the creative worldwide launch of Northlane's smash hit album "Singularity".
The latest single from Stories "Dreamwork" was used in the teaser video last week. After the teaser caused a stir with 5,000 views in a short period of time, the video will be released in full as an animation video on Thursday, January 30 via the UNFD YouTube Channel.
"Dreamwork" was mixed by Will Putney, whose recent work on The Amity Affliction, Thy Art is Murder and Northlane garnered him three ARIA Nominations in the Hard Rock music category.
Stories will embark on the East Coast "Dreamwork" headline tour in February and March.

The AndersonPonty Band has created some breathtaking new musical compositions.
“Better Late Than Never” also showcases rearrangements of classic YES hits like “Owner Of A Lonely Heart”, “Roundabout” and “Wonderous Stories”, as well as some of Jean Luc Ponty's beloved compositions, with Jon's lyrical vocals and melodies enhancing the music and creating a very special and unique sound such as “Infinite Mirage” a new song incorporating Jean Luc's classic tune “Mirage”.

The AndersonPonty Band also includes Jamie Glaser on guitars - well known guitarist who has worked with Jean Luc Ponty, Chick Corea, Bryan Adams and Lenny White; Wally Minko on keyboards - virtuoso player and composer who has performed and recorded with many worldwide stars including Pink, Toni Braxton, Jean Luc Ponty, Tom Jones, Gregg Rolie and Barry Manilow; Baron Browne on bass who has played with Steve Smith, Billy Cobham and Jean Luc Ponty; and Rayford Griffin on drums and percussion, who has played with Stanley Clarke Band, George Duke, Jean Luc Ponty and Michael Jackson.
The band visit the music created by Jon Anderson and Jean Luc Ponty over the years with new arrangements, virtuosic performances and new energy.
Jean Luc Ponty was originally approached by Jon Anderson with the idea of working together as far back as the 1980's. Now 30 years later the dream has finally come to fruition! In support of the new release, a world tour is currently in the works. Also, a videography documenting the making of the “Better Late Than Never” album will be released along with videos and performances.

Stories was a rock and pop music band, based out of New York in the early 1970s. The band consisted of keyboardist Michael Brown, bassist/vocalist Ian Lloyd, guitarist Steve Love, and drummer Bryan Madey, and had a Number 1 hit with a cover of Hot Chocolate's "Brother Louie."
Lloyd (b. Lloyd Buonconsiglio, 1947, Seattle) and Brown (b. Michael Lookofsky, April 25, 1949, Brooklyn) were introduced by their fathers, two old friends who had worked together for years as session violinists. Lloyd had been singing for years and had attracted local notice recording as Lloyd London. Brown had led, wrote and played with his group The Left Banke, which had made the U.S. charts with "Walk Away Renee" (#5, 1966) and "Pretty Ballerina" (#15, 1967).
The two set about becoming a Beatlesque band. They recruited New Yorkers Love and Madey and located an interested record label in Kama Sutra. A self-titled album and a single – "I'm Coming Home" (#42, 1972) – followed.
Afterward, the band started work on their second LP with producer Eddie Kramer, About Us (1973). After the album's release, Brown left the band to pursue another project.

UNFD is extremely proud to announce the signing of Sydney metal band STORIES, who were the subject of a viral teaser video last week on our YouTube Channel. To celebrate the announcement, we're stoked to release a new single called "Dreamwork" on January 30th. Stories will tour the East Coast on their "Dreamwork" tour throughout February and March.
STORIES formed on the Northern Beaches of Sydney in 2012. Despite being under the age of 20, the five piece has managed to tour all over Australia with a host of international and local bands. Their debut EP "Void" was released in 2013 as a free download, and has garnered more than 40,000 downloads to date.
As well as signing to the UNFD label, Stories have will join the Unified management roster, alongside acts like Vance Joy, The Amity Affliction, Illy, Violent Soho and Northlane. Co-Managing the project will be Luke Logemann and Northlane guitarist Josh Smith, the same team behind the creative worldwide launch of Northlane's smash hit album "Singularity".
The latest single from Stories "Dreamwork" was used in the teaser video last week. After the teaser caused a stir with 5,000 views in a short period of time, the video will be released in full as an animation video on Thursday, January 30 via the UNFD YouTube Channel.
"Dreamwork" was mixed by Will Putney, whose recent work on The Amity Affliction, Thy Art is Murder and Northlane garnered him three ARIA Nominations in the Hard Rock music category.
Stories will embark on the East Coast "Dreamwork" headline tour in February and March.

Moving forward Stories took this dark, brooding sonic intensity to the next level with their single “Dreamwork”. Coinciding with Dreamwork was the announcement of their signing to both the Australian powerhouse label UNFD and the same management team behind Sydney’s stalwart metalcore heavyweights – Northlane. Today I decided to elaborate a bit on the deal with Orchard Music and how they're abusing Content ID to necessitate the change to one of our outros. It's the same old scheme most companies use when they abuse this DRM system.
However, this has led me to pick up a new software called Studio One, which is a nifty instrument emulation software. I won't be able to use it for everything because composition takes a lot longer than managing royalty free loops, but I've done composition using Sony ACID in the past. Granted, this new software will be more convenient and will provide more varied sounds, so people won't be likely to notice me overusing the same samples too much.
But using Studio One reminds me of the old days, standing in front of a shrieking metronome while my drum instructor punished me for ridiculous things. Oh, everything's coming back. Except the muscle memories, which are one of the things I really need for this. Oh well, time to re-learn some old skills!

A Hot In The Shade industry meet and greet is discussed. Being invited by Ken Sharp to visit Gene Simmons' house and finding out Gene was not aware you were coming. Behind the scenes at Sanctuary Records and the preparation for the Symphony album. Finally we end back at Universal and working directly with Paul Stanley on his Live To Win solo album. She is ambitious, extremely hard working, organized and she is well aware exactly what to do and say to make any wedding a date to remember. She has her assistant Ragini who also takes care of the lightings in wedding ceremonies. Mahi meets Ahaan and Gia as her client who are engaged to each other, however Gia and Aan are not on the same wavelength. Gia has a better job, earns much more than Ahaan and her career comes first.She wants to boss around Ahaan and treats him like his jr. Gia wants her wedding to be grand but Aahaan likes it to be simple. But has to agree to Gia. Ragini finds a spark between Mahi and Aahaan and decides to play a cupid between them and make them realize that they are meant to be together. Ahaan finds a friend in Mahi and as two spend time together their friendship grows. Ragini manipulates circumstances where Ahaan and Mahi find each other as their soul mate. Their life turns upside down as they fall in love with each other but Mahi is in confusion as after all he is the groom, and she is just his wedding planner. Mahi is in a dilemma if she should help Ahaan to get married to Gia or should she be the bride herself. Ragini makes Aahaan realize that Mahi is the right girl for him. Ahaan decides to first tell this to Gia but Gia gets furious and leaves they wedding venue in anger. But Aahaan has his thought clear and proposes Mahi. Mahi still in to minds does not understand how to take this therefore Aahaans mother comes ahead to support them and Mahi accepts Ahaans proposal. They hug each other in love. Ragini winks as she has succeeded in bringing two loving hearts together.

Yeh Hai Aashiqui - Episode 87 Synopsis:
When it comes to love, you can never plan what’s going to happen and this happened with Mahi who is a wedding planner. She is ambitious, extremely hard working, organized and she is well aware exactly what to do and say to make any wedding a date to remember. She has her assistant Ragini who also takes care of the lightings in wedding ceremonies. Mahi meets Ahaan and Gia as her client who are engaged to each other, however Gia and Aan are not on the same wavelength. Gia has a better job, earns much more than Ahaan and her career comes first.She wants to boss around Ahaan and treats him like his jr. Gia wants her wedding to be grand but Aahaan likes it to be simple. But has to agree to Gia. Ragini finds a spark between Mahi and Aahaan and decides to play a cupid between them and make them realize that they are meant to be together. Ahaan finds a friend in Mahi and as two spend time together their friendship grows. Ragini manipulates circumstances where Ahaan and Mahi find each other as their soul mate. Their life turns upside down as they fall in love with each other but Mahi is in confusion as after all he is the groom, and she is just his wedding planner. Mahi is in a dilemma if she should help Ahaan to get married to Gia or should she be the bride herself. Ragini makes Aahaan realize that Mahi is the right girl for him. Ahaan decides to first tell this to Gia but Gia gets furious and leaves they wedding venue in anger. But Aahaan has his thought clear and proposes Mahi. Mahi still in to minds does not understand how to take this therefore Aahaans mother comes ahead to support them and Mahi accepts Ahaans proposal. They hug each other in love. Ragini winks as she has succeeded in bringing two loving hearts together.
