On May 8, a Facebook post was issued about the situation and it has created a good deal of comments and concern - the post reads, in part, "Her babies were taken away from her while she was left at the Long Beach shelter...What rescue does this? Does anyone have any information? And please network Melody before it's too late for her ... Melody will likely require more networking if she is to be saved. Melody's Facebook thread here....
