Dungeon Guardian on the second night? No problem! Or well, there are some issues that needs to be dealt with. It’s quite easy to set up; but it’s hard to get a combo that is really fast since you need a boomerang, bed, recall potions, good block placement, and of course luck with Dungeon Guardian spawning.
The idea for using HOIK to defeat the Dungeon Guardian comes from the two fine gentlemen Richard Lewis and Joe Price who have been pepping me to try it out. After trying it out I had to figure out a way to do it quickly with block placements, bed etc. Once that was done it was just a matter of time.

Dungeon Guardian on the second night? No problem! Or well, there are some issues that needs to be dealt with. It’s quite easy to set up; but it’s hard to get a combo that is really fast since you need a boomerang, bed, recall potions, good block placement, and of course luck with Dungeon Guardian spawning.
The idea for using HOIK to defeat the Dungeon Guardian comes from the two fine gentlemen Richard Lewis and Joe Price who have been pepping me to try it out. After trying it out I had to figure out a way to do it quickly with block placements, bed etc. Once that was done it was just a matter of time.

1.3 is getting closer for each day that passes, and now we’re presented with a really cool screenshot of something that looks to be a new event. What I like the most is the _huge_ moon that really adds something new and interesting to the environment of Terraria. It’s almost like you’re in space - except that the normal terrain still looks the same. I added the Lunar Music, but I don’t know if this infact is the Lunar Event that Re-logic has been speaking about.
We also got a month for release, and that’s in June. I feel this gives me good enough time to sort out things for future videos, but I also know that I will be gone for parts of June and July - yeah my regular summer holiday

This is a little trick I've had in my sleve for a while. Quite interesting one, even though I'm hoping it will be fixed in some way. Probably not intended to do that much damage.
Blizzcon was also awesome, even though I only watched the stream. Hearthstone and Heroes are what I'm looking forward to the most. Also the new character models in WoW. Could do some cool machinima with those.

Even though I've done this in the past I felt that this was worth doing again - in 1.2. I wanted to make it more of a challenge, so I decided to rule that no healing potions to be used during the fight. After the fight it continues straight into the dungeon - and after that it's the end. I managed to kill Skeletron a few times on first night, but the dungeon is a lot harder now on first night... so this is just the beginning.
If you want a fail compilation in the future say so and I might save the recordings. I don't have all, but some.
Doing Skeletron faster than this is possible - I spend a lot of time using the sword for fun.

It’s quite easy to set up; but it’s hard to get a combo that is really fast since you need a boomerang, bed, recall potions, good block placement, and of course luck with Dungeon Guardian spawning. The idea for using HOIK to defeat the Dungeon Guardian comes from the two fine gentlemen Richard Lewis and Joe Price who have been pepping me to try it out. After trying it out I had to figure out a way to do it quickly with block placements, bed etc. Once that was done it was just a matter of time. What I like the most is the _huge_ moon that really adds something new and interesting to the environment of Terraria. It’s almost like you’re in space - except that the normal terrain still looks the same. I added the Lunar Music, but I don’t know if this infact is the Lunar Event that Re-logic has been speaking about. We also got a month for release, and that’s in June.
