Plot
A story inspired by actual events in a Filipino prison, the struggles that inmates experience and their quest to feel human again. This riveting feature film about redemption follows Frank Parish (Patrick Bergin), a retired US fireman and philanthropist who finds himself wrongly accused of murder and jailed in the Philippines. Stuck in prison, Frank was beginning to lose faith in everything he believed in until he becomes friends with Mando (Dingdong Dantes), a convicted murderer who denies his passion for dancing just to prove his masculinity and Allona (Joey Paras), a transsexual who tries to contribute to prison reforms by teaching his fellow inmates dance exercises. They get involved in a tricky struggle between the positive changes initiated by the new warden (Ricky Davao) and the corrupt system that weighs down the inmates' chance to become better individuals. Frank finds himself caught in an intricate web of lies and must choose between concealing what he knows to keep himself out of danger or to help his fellow inmates by revealing the truth. Will he remain on the sidelines as an observer, or will he dance the dance of the steel bars?
Plot
Six teenagers learn how fast their comfortable, self-centered lives can transform into a life-threatening lesson of survival, as an ill-prepared afternoon snowboarding trip turns tragic with injury and sub-zero temperatures. Discord and teenage angst poison the atmosphere of a small town, whose residents are soon to learn the importance of faith and unity to their very existence. 48 Below was written, filmed and produced on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, and captures the Alaskan teenage culture as never before. Based on a true story.

Plot
In Jerusalem's orthodox neighborhoods, it's Succoth, seven days celebrating life's essentials in a sukkah, a temporary shack of both deprivation and hospitality. A devout couple, Moshe and Mali, married nearly five years and childless, are broke and praying for a miracle. Suddenly, miracles abound: a friend finds Moshe a sukkah he says is abandoned, Moshe is the beneficiary of local charitable fundraising, and two escaped convicts arrive on Moshe and Mali's doorstep in time to be their ushpizin - their guests. The miracles then become trials. Rabbinical advice, absolution, an effort to avoid anger, and a 1000-shekel citron figure in Moshe's dark night of the soul.

Down by the racetrack waiting with their signs
The ugly broken people got no place to go
And a guilty boy scout with his conscience in his hand
Buys some reconciliation
Ain't going to be me, no, thinking
Ain't going to be me, no, thinking
Ain't going to be me, no
Only 29 years left on my loan
You stand there freezing on the side of the road
To remind me of all the good things that I'm so glad I own
The only reason I leave you in the cold
Is if I took you home to feed you, you'd be somebody I know
And on the corner you tell me the same old lies
Like I believe you gas can guy
Every single dollar that I gave you and you drank
How many gallons are in your tank?
Ain't going to be me, no, thinking
Ain't going to be me, no, thinking
Ain't going to be me, no
Only 29 years left on my loan
You stand there freezing on the side of the road
To remind me of all the good things that I'm so glad I own
The only reason I leave you in the cold
Is if I took you home to feed you, you'd be somebody I know
And on the corner you tell me the same old lies

As the Charity Department at the Treasury
Dispenses licenses so you can do one too
The Ethiopians are running out of weaponry
So their leaders stock it up instead of food
And charity begins at home
So get out on the streets
And help the refugees
And the manager of E.M.I. technology
Seems reluctant to discuss his business deals
Cos the weapon sales are paying for his meals
He'll go to withering heights
To keep it out of sight
Profit! Weaponry doesn't feed refugees
It's a hit! McCartney's saying please on T.V.'s royalties to feed the world with guns
Wembley Stadium forever on the video
And a million spent to raise that sixty more
Nothing ever quite as big as this before
And it broke our hearts
As it topped the charts
But when the overkill exploited the reality
We forgot the facts and revelled in the noise
We didn't see that while we had the voice
Companies and laws were pulling vocal chords
If the western world was less obsessed with property
And the need to keep it safe with threats of war
Then the third world wouldn't need a war economy
That we're supplying at a cost they can't afford
So we buy up all their crops and grain
And sell it back again
When there ain't no rain
And have a big campaign
Using famous names
And as the penny drops
Into the Oxfam box
Take off the V.A.T.
Then call it charity
And the public think the government is wonderful
For promoting our assistance to the poor
But their profits are a whole lot more
They create the need to feed the refugees
And delegate the guilty feeling to the public eye
Via pictures of starvation on T.V.
And get the public conscience back out on the streets
With the empty tins
And little flags on pins
Lets call it charity
Lets call it charity
Charity, all the world really needs is charity
We're living in a dream
I'll plead with you all till it tears me apart.
Is this all that we want?
Is this all that we really are?
Turn away if you want, turn away if you like,
For the rest of your life, every day every night,
In your house and your car, yes I know who you are.
Can you not hear the world in its pain trying to call to you?
Oh, oh, charity, we're living in a dream.
Charity, can't fool me with your vanity.
I've seen what's in your heart.
I'll plead with you all till it tears me apart.
Is this all that we want?
Is this all that we really are?
Will our hearts ever change, does it sound so strange?
When people touch[?] children cry, can you not wonder why?
In your own little world, can you not say a word?
Try to help someone else on this earth besides yourself.
Oh, oh, charity, we're living in a dream.
Charity, can't fool me with your vanity.
I've seen what's in your heart.
Charity, all the world really needs is charity.
Is this all that we want?
Floating on the wind of His song
Where I like it, where I like it
The sun will rise, the sleepy moon lay down
As He willed it, as He willed it
It's the little things, it's the little things
It's the little things, the little things I see
It's the little things, it's the little things
It's the little things that are making me believe
Metal and wood in traction
He walked yesterday, he walked yesterday
The yellow car raced past at 85
And they're still alive, and they're still alive
It's the little things, it's the little things
It's the little things, the little things I see
It's the little things, it's the little things
It's the little things that are making me believe
It's the little things You bring
It's the little things You bring
If I run as fast as I can to nowhere
I'm stopped just in time
I'm stopped just in time
The ocean laps 10,000 times a day
And I can pray, and I can pray
The birds have breakfast, lunch and dinner too
And I love You, and I love You
It's the little things, it's the little things I see
It's the little things that are making me believe
It's the little things You bring
It's the little things You bring
It's the little things You bring
It's the little things
Love me, forget me not
Hold me up holy rock
You who's passion never fades
Who will never pass away
We see the gifts You bring
How lovely, lovely!
Charity holds her head
In different ways than I'd imagined it
In laurels of glory
All of the things she says
I'm bound to hang my head
In laurels of glory
Whisper, say my name
All I've dreamed remain unchanged
From the heavens out to here
So, inspired and so clear
I hear Your voice and sing
"How lovely, lovely!"
Charity holds her head
In different ways than I'd imagined it
In laurels of glory
In all of the things she says
I'm bound to hang my head
In laurels of glory
I poke my finger in Your side
And give an eye to how the blood it drips
Who am I to ever doubt?
Open my mouth and give a shout
Hey yeah, hey yeah
Charity holds her head
In different ways than I'd imagined it
In laurels of glory
All of the things she says
I'm bound to hang my head
Floating on the wind of His song
Where I like it, where I like it

My heart has been broken for so long
I've seen the hurting side of love
Lived on this ship with a lonely song
Praying I would drift on
I traveled the cold and stormy sea
Wandering blind on the four winds
I see Your light shining brightly for me
Please guide me through the mist
I'm lost unless
I lose myself in You, I lose myself in You
Your love is true, I lose myself in You
I have sailed the ocean blue, I lose myself
I think of Your touch, Your smile, Your, Your eyes
And I can't believe I ever thought
That I could be happy and free at sea
Without Your love, I'm not, I'm lost until
I lose myself in You, I lose myself in You
Your love is true, I lose myself in You
And the waves are breaking through
I lose myself in You, yeah
Summer nights have come a-calling
And I ran after always falling
Hard for what was worthless and untrue
You were watching from the beaches
Grasping for my sightless reaches
Hoping I would fall in love with You
The waiting is over
My patient perfect friend
I will hold You in my heart
Until the starry end
I lose myself in You, I lose myself in You
You know I do, I lose myself in You
I have sailed the ocean blue
I lose myself in You, I lose myself in You
Lose myself in You, lose myself in You
Lose myself in You, lose myself in You
Lose myself in You, lose myself in You
I'm losing our connection
You're fading, Like a fashion of last year
Oh you fade away
Once again, I'm shattered down
And you pretend
Your lies are coming true
Oh you fade away
Would you please fade away
So tell me
Tell me why you lead me on then walk away
You play me and lose me
I'm so weak, you broke me down again
A charity I refuse to be
I'm coming down
From the cloud you put me on
Oh you fade away
A travesty is all I see
I'm falling out
The life in me is gone
Oh you fade away
Would you please fade away
I'm not a chore
I'm so much more
Tomorrow I'll be gone
You told me lies with those lips
Deceptions everywhere
And you take me for granted
This is my house, I welcome you in
You're pissing on my rug, you need breaking in
And these are my words, I could teach you to read
But you won't understand, this is fucking poetry
I gave you my best, call it charity
But maybe I guessed, that nothing is free
You would have me pay, I know jealousy
So easily read, you wish you were me
This is my baby, you can't take her away
A miracle baby, you would have them hate
You'd be a killer, if i gave you a second thought
But my baby is protected, she is loved
Don't you get it, get it
I gave you my best, call it charity
But maybe I guessed, that nothing is free
You would have me pay, for just being I
Know you but you don't know a shit about me
This is goodbye, to sound of your ear
You are a coward, hiding behind the wall
You won't even show me your face, only words on paper
Cuz man to man you would fall
I gave you my best, it was charity
But maybe I guessed, that nothing is free
I will never pay, for just being me
Ivory rings, singing peacocks
and things from the East
There's a beast on a chain made of gold
All her cargoes change
with the changing seas
And the name of the clipper is The Charity
Her sails are fading in the sky
As she bids the land breeze goodbye
In the teeth of the sea-wind she flies
A million years on a sea of tears
Charity
Nightward she sails and the fiery trails
of her wake, drown the sky
"I am breaking" she cries
And her figurehead is a barbary queen
With a breast as cold as the sea is green
And she reaches out her arms to the storm
Her long hair windwhipped and torn
She begs for a harbor that's warm
A million years on a sea of tears
Charity
She chries "My name it is The Charity
Beware your luck if you'd sail with me...
Beware"
Come says the tall ship sailing on the East Wind
Run say the white sails filling with the West Wind
Now say the grey gulls riding on the South Wind
Fly say the green waves breaking in the North Wind
WHY DO I SENSE, BENEVOLENCE
YOU STAND TALL AT MY GREAT EXPENSE
THICK WORDS OF GRATITUDE, WHAT A PRICE TO PAY
STUCK IN MY THROAT, I SELL EVERY WORD I SAY
BUT I DON`T WANT YOUR CHARITY
TWISTING ME ROUND
I DON`T WANT YOUR CHARITY
KEEPING ME DOWN.....
YOU PITY ME WITH YOUR TASTELESS GESTURES
GRATITUDE FOR KIND
BUT YOUR BLUDGEONED, INTENTIONED OBJECTIVES
ARE SCREWING WITH MY MIND
BUT I DON`T WANT YOUR CHARITY
TWISTING ME ROUND
I DON`T WANT YOUR CHARITY
KEEPING ME DOWN.....
BUT I DON`T WANT YOUR CHARITY
TWISTING ME ROUND
I DON`T WANT YOUR CHARITY
