What I Learned is a travel show about colorful people and curious situations. Hosted by Jason Tongen (aka JT), the show consists of unique observations, unconventional perspective, and often explores a destination’s counter-culture. We see that no matter where our travels take us, there is always something to be learned.

My Trip to the Philippines. Manila and Subic TRAVEL DOCUMENTARY 2014.
Not knowing very much about the Philippines before I visited, I was pleasantly surprised by Manila and Subic and how they both reminded me of America. The highlight of the trip was getting a chance to visit a Vietnamese boat people refugee camp near Baataan. I met some friendly Pinoys too. The food was great. The transportation readily available. And the landscape extremely beautiful. There are plenty to see and do as well. I certainly understand that a lotta people don't want to plan their vacations too much, wanna be a bit more spontaneous, wanna rock n roll. I understand it, I do it myself, but you want to plan a few things.
You want the right gear. Waterproof backpack. If a laptop, then a small one. Swimsuit. Micro-towel. Focus on nice, lightweight stuff. Get wrinkle free and you won't have to worry about ironing.
There's great adventure here, but you wanna be able to pack light and fast. Packing light will make everything easier. It's one of the best Philippine

What To Know About Manila, Philippines
What To Know About Manila, Philippines
What To Know About Manila, Philippines
A brief documentary about Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. Every year, more than 5.5 million tourists take their vacations in the Philippines, and often Manila is their very first stop.
Nearly 16 million people live in the Metro Manila area, which is made up of many smaller cities, including Makati, Pasay, Pasig, Paranaque, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, and more.
Manila is where big business takes place, where major investments are made, and where residential and commercial real estate is never-ending. Many tourists enjoy the malls, the restaurants, the museums, the nightlife, and even the beautiful Manila Bay. Probably, the bigges

Travel Philippines, S1, Ep 11/26, Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao City, Mindanao
B Adventures, Travel Series: Philippines 2014, Season 1, Episode 11 of 26. Guide, tips, and advice.
Davao Waterfront Insular Hotel. Davao City in Mindanao, is known for being very safe and clean. Shopping, food, taxi's, etc are much cheaper compared to Manila, great place to visit. Also a "no smoking" city. You can only smoke in designated areas, and no littering, or you will be fined.
Travel Tips:
Everyone spoke English and generally very friendly.
Its important to have photo ID for flights, hotels, and if police ask.
Its common for taxi drivers in Manila to try rip you off. Ask them nicely to put the meter on, or negotiate the price

Local Etiquette - Manila, Philippines Travel Guide
Local Etiquette - Manila, Philippines Travel Guide
How to behave in social situations in Manila.
Here are a few customs and etiquette to be aware of during your visit to the Phillipines. Filipinos value honor. The concept of hiya or shame requires one to behave in a manner that will not shame the person or the family. Handshake is common when meeting someone. If elders are present, acknowledge them first. Address people formally indicating their profession or using their last names. In discussions Filipinos tend to be non-confrontational. People will not directly say no.
In making appointments, Filipinos tend to be more forgiving. If you arrive 15 to 20 minutes late, unless you are attendi
