When was the last time you saw girls go crazy over cheesy coordinated dance moves? In fact, when was the last time ANYONE coordinated their dance moves!? This seriously is #throwbackwayback #丢他妈的回去, such a big wave of nostalgia from teenagehood which you now realize is half your life ago. Amazing how they're like 40 now & still kickin' it like this.
This one's for all you peeps who couldn't make it for the concert-- it was freaking loud so the sound gets distorted towards the end. But I can guarantee you, it was one heck of an electrifying concert.

I love Chinese food! The best thing to do in Singapore is to eat. One of the best places to visit is Chinatown, which has so many places to eat your favorite Singaporean Chinese cuisine. In fact, my favorite place is the local hawker food court not too far from the metro. You can find affordable meals here that are so good you'll be surprised that they were cooked in tiny kitchens. There's not much language barriers as every place has pictures and the price clearly listed. Don't ask me for the prices of these dishes because I forgot. Some of the things I ate with Valerie included fish congee or porridge, wonton soup, fish ball noodles, and bbq pork, duck, and chicken rice combo dish. I also drank some sugar cane juice, which went down so smoothly on a hot Singaporean day. The feast was enough to feed a tour group or a village, but we managed to eat most of it. Let's just say we were incredibly hungry. The portions and proportions were wonderful. Lots to eat, and a good balance between starches and meats.
I really enjoy eating in Singapore.

SINGAPORE: Tens of thousands surrounded the Padang to mark the day in 1965 when Singapore separated from Malaysia and took its first step towards independence. More than 26,000 gathered at the Padang itself where the first National Day Parade took place in 1966, while many more thronged its surroundings such as Marina Bay and the Marina Barrage.
Fifty years since that fateful day on Aug 9, 1965, the nation threw its biggest party to celebrate its journey, but not without paying a touching tribute to its late founding Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew.
This year, crowd-favourites, the Red Lions were unable to make the jump due to bad weather – the second time since 2013.
“The safety of all our Red Lions performers is our foremost concern. Due to the low cloud cover which obstructed their view of the designated landing area, a decision was made to call off the jump to ensure the safety of the jumpers,” Chairman of the NDP 2015 Executive Committee Brigadier-General Melvyn Ong said in a statement.
For the first time since 1969, foreign leaders were invited to the celebrations, including Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah.
Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong arrived with three surviving signatories of the Independence of Singapore Agreement in 1965. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong also received a rousing welcome, but the man who saw the nation through its earliest and darkest days, and for whom Singaporeans had come to reserve the loudest cheer at each Parade, was absent for the first time. Marking his usual seat was a bouquet of flowers.
In previous years, the show segment stood on its own. This year, it was integrated within the larger parade theme. Using multimedia, performances and larger than life props, the show told the Singapore story in six chapters, starting with the arrival of legendary founder Sang Nila Utama and highlighting the role of Singapore's pioneers.
A special vintage segment was a nostalgic throwback to the parades of yesteryear, featuring about 450 participants from nine organisations, all of them donning the uniforms of the 1960s and 1970s.
The segment also featured the Singapore Girl, an international icon in her own right. And for the first time, a Singapore Airlines A380 flew proudly across the Parade.
The parade then welcomed President Tony Tan Keng Yam and spectators watched in awe as 20 fighter jets flew past in a '50' formation in the sky.
The show of might had plenty of heart, highlighting military personnel alongside family members.
As the parade drew to a close, performances by the likes of Stefanie Sun, Corrine May, JJ Lin and Kit Chan kept the crowds entertained and singing along, especially when it came to the rousing song Home.
Before long, the nation stood still, hand to heart, pledging to live up to the ideals the nation's pioneers strove for. They sang in one proud voice, the National Anthem – a call for the country to aspire for success as it has in the last 50 years.
Then the fireworks lit the sky in a burst of glorious colours, capping off a record pyrotechnics display that punctuated the show and kept hundreds of thousands around the Marina Bay at wowed throughout the evening.

Singapore is a city of gardens and the heart of South East Asia. Its history began in 1819 with Thomas Stamford Raffles, a young official who worked for the British East India Company. Raffles estimated that the natural harbor was perfect for trading ships, so he bought the land from the Sultan of Johor and founded a trading settlement.
As a free port, Singapore attracted trading ships from all over the world and today, 4 million people live here on an area that covers 640 square kilometres.

With just 48 hours to explore Singapore we tried to cram in as many attractions as we possibly could.
Welcome to Singapore! We've got less than 48 hours in the city and we're going to show you as much as we possibly can.
With limited time ticking down to visit the world's most prosperous city state and busiest port, we set out on foot, bus, subway and boat to cover as much ground as we possibly could.
Singapore has often been given the title of a sterile Utopia; however, after traveling around chaotic Southeast Asian hubs like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Saigon it was a welcome relief to visit a mega city that was clean, orderly, spacious and pedestrian friendly.
One of the top highlights was visiting the various districts including Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam.
Hopping on a traditional bum boat offered a unique perspective of the city as we were able to learn more about its colorful history on our guided tour.
One of the highlights was drinking Singapore Slings at the Raffles Hotel where the drink was invented. Paying 27 Singapore dollars allowed us to sip on this wonderful cocktail and throw peanuts on the floor.
Generally speaking, I'm a proponent of slow travel. Traveling slow allows you to live more like a local as opposed to racing around a city like a tourist; however, with just 48 hours in Singapore we were forced outside of our comfort zone, for a couple of days, and we ended up loving it.
The fast paced (and futuristic) elements of the city were conducive to our mission of seeing as much as we possibly could in such a short period of time.
With mere hours as opposed to days to explore the city we set out on foot, by bus and via boat to explore as much of the city as possible.
Although we visited many of the main attractions it was our time spent wandering around neighborhoods such as Kampong Glam (the historic Malaysian quarter) that were my favorite moments in the city.
As one of the most livable cities in all of Asia it is also one of the most expensive. If in the future I had a high paying position I would consider coming to Singapore as an expat as opposed to being just a tourist.
Singapore is impressive by day but really shines at night. Many of the standout landmarks have a completely different look when the sun goes down and the bright lights of the city emerge.
When it comes to street food Singapore ranks favorably with Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand. Hawker centres offer up a spread of Asian delights that were heavy on flavor while being light on our wallet.
In order to cover as much ground as possible we purchased hop on hop off bus tickets to get around the city. Being able to get on and off whenever we wanted was a real bonus as it helped us preserve our walking legs.
Although we saw many of the most popular attractions such as Merlion, Marina Bay and the Fullerton Hotel it was the adventures we had wandering around that formed the greatest impressions of the city.
Overall, our time in Singapore was distinctly memorable. Hopefully, we'll have a chance to come back again soon to explore more of this impressive 21st century city state.

Travel video about destination Singapore.
In June each year, there is an exciting boat race in Marina Bay known as the Dragon Boat Race, that features magnificently painted dragon boats with hand-carved heads and tails accompanied by the sound of frenetic drumbeats.
Dating back to colonial times, British influence is omnipresent, whether the Cricket Club or the Parliament, traditional English spirit rules despite Singapore's Independence.
The World Famous Raffles Hotel is situated in the Colonial District near the Singapore River. In the hotel's Ashanti Bar, it was customary to throw expired peanut shells directly onto the floor and at the same time, reverently sip a Singapore Sling, the national drink.
The Singapore Zoo is one of the finest in the world in which the animals can roam freely, their territory being surrounded by a landscaped ditch. Approximately 2,800 animals live in the spacious enclosures and even those from the world's coldest regions can be observed both below and above water, thanks to cleverly designed viewing areas.
A complete mix of ethnic cultures, there's Chinatown, Little India and the Arab Street Quarter in which there are mosques, women wear burqas and there is all the hustle and bustle of a bazaar.
Singapore is an exotic city of skyscrapers, a cultural melting pot and the exciting gateway to South East Asia!

Singapore Travel Guide: Sentosa, Clark Quay, and Dim Sum! 2015
This is what you can do in a day in Singapore: Visit Sentosa in the morning. Sentosa is an island that contains man made beaches and lots of family fun activities. It's easily worth half a day or maybe a full day if you go to Universal Studios. Getting there from the city center is quite easy as it's connected easily through Singapore's public transportation services. While there, be sure to eat some delicious coconut ice cream- perfect for the hot and humid days in Singapore. Then, catch some lunch at any of the city state's fabulous food courts. Check out Clark Quay before dark so you can take a river boat tour to see the skyscrapers and the Merlion from a different vantage point. You might also learn a little history too. Then, sip some drinks while people watching to enjoy Clark Quay at night. It's really charming and quaint when the sun sets. For dinner, check out some dim sum on Jalan Besar road or any other place in Singapore. I promise you'll love it.

In 2014, Drawn In Light was declared the public favourite of the Amsterdam Light Festival. Tin Pei Lin to contest for MacPherson SMC - Singapore GE 2015
Her public image in 2011 was not a good one, and Tin Pei Ling admits that her first general election was one of the “darkest moments” of her life. But she’s back in 2015, now contesting in MacPherson, a single member constituency (SMC) carved out of the Marine Parade GRC where she was part of Goh Chok Tong’s five-man team in the previous election. On Friday (21 Aug) at the People’s Action Party office at Pipit Road, where her ward is located, Tin, 31, confirmed her candidacy.
Singapore's President Tony Tan Keng Yam has issued the Writ of Election for General Election 2015.
Nomination Day is 1 September 2015 (Tuesday), the Elections Department announced in a release. The Returning Officer is Mr Ng Wai Choong, Chief Executive of the Energy Market Authority.
The Returning Officer will declare 11 September 2015 (Friday) to be Polling Day, the release said. Under the law, Polling Day at any general election shall be a public holiday. Every employer shall on Polling Day allow every elector in his employ a reasonable period of time for voting.

2015 - Singapore - Elderly Man Violently Assaulted By Young Motorist @ Ang Mo Kio - 25/8/15
(SINGAPORE, STOMP, 25 Aug 2015) - Stomper Danny alerted Stomp to a video on Facebook showing a young man assaulting an old man in the middle of a busy road in Ang Mo Kio.
The video first shows the men arguing outside an orange-coloured car.
The young man then shoved the old man multiple times before the duo continued to shout at each other.
The traffic lights turned green during the scuffle and vehicles started moving forward.
Instead of leaving the scene, the younger man started violently shoving the old man. Parts of video also show the old man getting hit on his head.
The old man went back to confront the young driver after the first wave of punches and shoves, and was assaulted once again.
Towards the end of the video, a vehicle's horn could be heard, suggesting that the incident might have caused a jam.
It is unclear what led to the incident as well as what happened thereafter.

SAM at 8Q is the annexe of Singapore Art Museum - Singapore's contemporary art museum. Located at the heart of the city, it derives its name from the museum's location at No. 8 Queen Street near Bras Basah Road.[2] SAM at 8Q is also approximately 88 steps away from Singapore Art Museum.[3]
The 4-storey building was formerly the primary school wing of the Catholic High School. When the School relocated to their current location in 1987, the 3,500 sq m space gave home to the Kim Yan Cantonese Methodist Church. In September 2007, the Church ended its tenancy and the building was repossessed by the Singapore Land Authority. With new interest on contemporary art by the young, the National Heritage Board (NHB) took up tenancy of the building from the Land Authority. The Board also spent $5.8 million on renovations, and converted the classrooms in the 4-storey building into six galleries to showcase contemporary installation works, video and photography installation, performance art and sound art. A lift was also installed, and the galleries, staircases and parts of corridors have also been air-conditioned and humidity-controlled. There are also spaces to house two restaurants on the ground floor which are currently occupied by Food for Thought and Standing Sushi Bar.
SAM at 8Q was officially opened on August 15, 2008 with an inaugural 8-man art exhibition titled 8Q-Rate: School; a name pun from the word 'curate'. 8Q-Rate featured the works by young contemporary artists such as Jahan Loh, Donna Ong, Grace Tan, Chong Li Chuan, Jason Wee, Tan Kai Syng, Phunk and sculptor Ahmad Abu Bakar.
Today, SAM at 8Q is home to changing contemporary art exhibitions, including a popular annual children's contemporary art exhibition.

There are many areas of historic importance around Singapore but none is so important to the island's recent history as the Singapore River. As a port city, Singapore's now thriving economy was founded on the banks of the Singapore River back in the 19th century: https://youtu.be/EWQvaLzq-7I
Singapore’s MRT (mass rapid transit) system is probably the fastest way to zip around the city. The extensive rail network means that most of Singapore’s key attractions are within walking distance from an MRT station. You can take taxis if you want to go to places not accessible by the bus or MRT. Lastly, the bus system has an extensive network of routes covering most places in Singapore and is the most economical way to get around, as well as being one of the most scenic.
The Lion City offers an endless array of exciting attractions for all ages! Be it by the beach, up on air, or inside a 4D theater. Singapore has fun-filled activities for everyone. While in Singapore, make sure you also check out these places:

New Malayalam Full Movie | Love In Singapore | malayalam full movie 2015
Love In Singapore is a 2009 Malayalam movie by Rafi Mecartin which had Mammootty in the lead role.
Story:
The movie stars Mammootty as Machu, an orphan who became rich by selling scrap. The prime location for the film is in a large hall at a bottle recycling factory in Kochi. Machu starts off rather humbly but soon gets rich. Now his scrap business has branches all over India. Machu, who is uneducated, keeps a low profile and prefers to hang out with his two friends, Shukkoor (Salim Kumar) and Narayanan (Bijukuttan). His life changes when Andrews Perreira (Nedumudi Venu), an Anglo Indian investor cheats machu into investing all his wealth into Perreira's investment company. Perreira acts as if he tried to commit suicide to give his investment fraud a lively touch. The innocent investors, including Machu, believe this and forgive Perreira, believing it wasn't his fault. The movie takes a wild turn when Machu meets Perreira's daughter, Diana, and wishes to marry her. But Perreira betrays Machu again by interchanging his daughter with his neighbour's daughter, an old friend of Machu's. On the wedding day, all falls apart as Machu and his friends goes to confront Perreira for his crimes, but Perreira with his daughter had already escaped to Singapore. Then the movie goes into utter humour as Machu and his sidekick (Jayasurya) tries to locate Perreira and Diana in Singapore.
Tamil and Telugu actor Navneet Kaur is the heroine. She plays the role of Perreira’s daughter, Diana. "The character comes from a rich family and has lived in Singapore. So we decided to go for someone who looks cosmopolitan," says the director duo[1] regarding their choice. Apart from Kochi, the other locations for Love in Singapore are at Karaikudi and Singapore.

Singapore ( i/ˈsɪŋəpɔr/ or /ˈsɪŋɡəpɔr/), officially the Republic of Singapore, is a sovereign city-state and island country in Southeast Asia. It lies off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula and is 137 kilometres (85 mi) north of the equator. The country's territory consists of the lozenge-shaped main island, commonly referred to as Singapore Island in English and Pulau Ujong in Malay, and more than 60 significantly smaller islets.[8] Singapore is separated from Peninsular Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to the north, and from Indonesia's Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to the south.

This video is a compilation of some of the best moments of Forever Global Rally 2015 in Singapore.
Forever doesn't do anything by halves, and the Global Rally was no exception. Taking at place at The Marina Bay Sands. The scale of this epic gathering was impressive to say the least.
Forever Business Owners from around the world came together for a week of activities in Singapore. where New Products were Launched & The Chairman's Bonus Cheques were distributed on stage.
Forever’s Global Rally’s are notoriously the most exciting, most momentous and most rewarding incentive available through Forever’s incentive program.
The Global Rally encourages that entrepreneurial spirit in promoting the idea that we don’t need to settle for our home town, our country or even our region… why settle for the familiar when we can conquer the world.
Global Rally 2015 was an opportunity to rub shoulders with the absolute best in the business, access sophisticated and improved trainings, witness bigger recognitions and watch even greater entertainment.
Those who qualified for the Global Rally came to Singapore, a unique and exciting destination, where they were introduced to the concept of a business where no limits exist; business without boundaries.

This is part of our Travel in Singapore series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Singaporean culture, Singaporean arts, Singaporean foods, Singaporean religion and Singaporean people.

Small and heavily populated, Singapore is an easy place to explore; nothing in the city is more than an hour from the business district. Thanks to modern construction and outstanding architecture, Singapore is rapidly becoming a powerhouse trade city, but it maintains ties to its Asian roots through traditional temples and many cultural hotspots, like Little India and Kampong Glam.
Your Singapore tour must include the Botanical Gardens and Orchid Gardens, both beautiful and notable places to visit. If you’re a fan of exotic animals, stop by the Singapore Zoo and check in with its 300-plus species that take up residence there. You can also take a “bumboat” from Changi Beach to Pulau Ubin, set away from the bustling city, and delight in its quiet mangroves.
No Singapore sightseeing is complete without a visit to Marina Bay, a glowing, high-tech vision of the future, or Orchard Road, which boasts enough shopping to keep you occupied for several rainy afternoons.

Travel video about destination Singapore.
