The United Campaign Workers, a project of the Portland IWW, showed the depth of its campaigns as it organized at Grassroots Campaign Inc., where workers are raising money for "progressive" organizations like Planned Parenthood and The Nature Conservancy. The shocking working conditions were matched by union busting tactics against a workplace that saw 100% IWW membership.

A dozen part-time UPS workers in Minneapolis took protest action on the job August 22, after discovering ties between Missouri law enforcement and a company, Law Enforcement Targets, whose shipments we handle each day.

New video evidence has been publicly released showing Georgia prison guards beating inmates with a "hammer-like object" in the aftermath of the 2010 prisoner's strike against forced labour. The strike was one of the largest in US history and was met with violent repression.
