Jody may refer to:
Jody Wisternoff is best known as one half of the Bristol progressive house duo Way Out West and as a producer of dance music spanning early 90s hardcore to electro house.
His first break came in the late 1980s as one half of Tru Funk Posse (with his brother Sam) when Bristol producers Smith & Mighty opened up their studio to them. Their tracks were playlisted by DJ Tim Westwood and the brothers appeared in magazine The Face.
In the early 90s Wisternoff DJed at clubs such as Universe and Fantasia and produced tracks with DJ Die (now of Reprazent fame) under the name Sub Love, along with singer & song writer Sue Brice aka Coco Star vocalist of Fragma's Toca's Miracle.
However Wisternoff met with fellow DJ Nick Warren in a Bristol record shop which saw the birth of the progressive house act Way Out West. Fusing the dub sounds of Bristol with club beats the duo saw the peak of their success in the mid to late 90s with tracks like "The Gift" and "Ajare".
In the mid to late 90s Wisternoff was a resident DJ at Temptation, a leading Friday night techno and jungle club night at Bristol's Lakota nightclub, which was promoted by Bristol based producer Leon Alexander of Hope Recordings. In 1997 Jody released his first mix album "The Silver Planet Collection Volume 1" followed by the well received "Way Out There - A Progressive DJ Mix" in 2001.
Jay Wayne Jenkins (born October 12, 1977), better known by his stage name Young Jeezy, is an American rapper. He is a member of the hip hop group United Streets Dopeboyz of America (USDA) and a former member of BMF (Black Mafia Family). He began his career in 2001 under an independent label and joined Boyz 'N Da Hood in 2005, the same year his solo major label debut Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 was released. Its single "Soul Survivor", which featured Akon, became a top-ten hit in the US.
The Inspiration followed in 2006, and The Recession followed in 2008; both albums yielded chart-topping singles. Jeezy has also appeared on numerous other rap and R&B singles such as "Say I" by Christina Milian, "I'm So Paid" by Akon, "Hard" by Rihanna, and "Love in This Club" by Usher, the latter being a number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2008.
Jay Wayne Jenkins was born in Columbia, South Carolina and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia when he was a toddler. Because his parents were separated, custody of him transferred between family members frequently. In an interview with XXL magazine, he described his childhood as "empty". In 1994, he spent nine months in YCA (Youth Challenge Academy), a boot camp in Fort Stewart, Georgia, for narcotics possession.

Everybody wants Jody...
Everybody wants Jody...
Everybody wants you, girl...
Everybody wants you, baby.
Diamonds on the left,
Stars on the right.
Be my girl from early in the night.
She don't need protection,
She don't have to fight.
She just ?????
????? says she might.
You can't explain it.
Made you weak,
Make your body wreak, ha!
ou can't contain it,
What she's got.
Man it's much too hot!
[Chorus:]
Everybody wants a piece of Jody...
Wants a taste of the cake,
Everybody wants from Jody,
All the love they can take.
[Chorus]
The way she moves her hips,
Cannot be denied.
She says she's gonna love ya,
'Til you drop.
World's spinnin' 'round,
When you close your eyes.
Then you must be learnin'
How to fly.
It must voodoo,
How she got you wired,
Walking thru the fire.
And she just ???? you,
You could lose your mind,
'Cause she's so damn fine!
[Chorus] 2x
Jody...
Jody...
Everybody wants you, baby.
Work, work! (8x)
You can't explain it.
Made you weak,
Make your body wreak, ha!
You can't contain it.
What she got,
Man, that's much too hot
Jody, what you been doing?
It's been a long, long time
Since we went dancing in the schoolyard,
With your breasts like bleeding limes
Jody, are you still hanging with that latin?
With rabbit fur inside his wheels?
With his Gilbert Roland piece,
And his glove department deals
Uptown, we watched the debutantes skating
Across the reservoir ice
Dressed in tweed and leather flags . . .
And you whispered six words twice
Jody, look what time has done
To people who live on the run
Jody, look what time has done
Jody, I spent years living at the movies
I really hated you awhile
I wrote so many incantations
Lord, I had to keep a file . . . you said
";Uptown . . ."; and I said, ";Downtown.";
Downtown the rooftops are wide
I was sinking in the tar, I screamed,
";This City is on my side";
Jody, go to any window;
Raise your eyes up to the sky . . .
Is that our destiny of yesterday
Or just a vault of lies?
But jody, look what time has done
To people who live on the run
Jody, look what time has done
Jody, all the lay-down promises
They were just a trading of scars
But I remember the wild nights;
Hey, we changed mountains into stars
Uptown, the buildings are syringes
They're all just glass and dreams
One thing about Manhattan, it's always
Just what it seems
But Jody,
Remember the part
And how we entered at the zoo
That's when I told you that the cheetah
Walked as fine as you
But jody, look what time has done
To people who live on the run
Jody, look what time has done
Jody, what you been doing?
It's been a long, long time
Since we went dancing in the schoolyard,

To people who live on the run
Just to think I had her in my hands
To think we made our plans
Somehow it feels just like a dream
For I played it so darn cool
Is there a bigger fool
To say I wanted to be free
'Cause now I know just what she meant to me
Jody, even the wind says your name, girl
When I think of you I'm aflame, girl, everytime
Jody, girl I've tried but I can't forget
The years when we lived together
I thought it would be forever
Jody, I'm beggin' now
Look around but there's no way out
What's it all about
And how that name goes round my head
I still see her face as she laid upon this bed
Jody, even the wind says your name, girl
When I think of you I'm aflame, girl, everytime
Jody, girl I've tried but I can't forget
The years when we lived together
I thought it would be forever
Jody, I'm beggin' now
Just say the word, I'll run to you
I'll be the man you want me to
How I'd miss you I never knew
Jody, even the wind says your name, girl
When I think of you I'm aflame, girl, everytime
Jody, girl I've tried but I can't forget
The years when we lived together
I thought it would be forever
Jody, I'm beggin' now

Jody these are the reasons why
The backyard we played in won't let a child die
Umm Jody these are the reasons why
The schoolyard we laughed in won't let us pass it by
Ohhh I was so sad when you fell of the wall
You was so glad cause you laughed at us all
We could be almost anything that we wanna be
Me away and you away coming in from the sea
Sometimes I was a mountain or a seagull by the shore
Thank god my memory will live for ever more
Jody our sun is going down today
But Jody today's when I feel
You know our sun I said he he's going down today
Jody the days not real no no no
Oooo I was so sad when you fell of the wall
You was so glad cause you laughed at us all
We could be almost anything that we wanna be
Me way and you away coming in from the sea
Sometimes I was a mountain or a seagull by the shore
Jody, I miss you so
More than you ever know
And I'll wait for Jody
Each year, you go away
I count the lonely days
'Til you return in June
The leaves begin to fall
The summer I'll recall
Next year, we'll be alone
Forever together
I'll write you every day
I'll buy a ring in May
And I'll wait for Jody
