Sabina Park is the home of the Kingston Cricket Club, and is the only Test cricket ground in Kingston, Jamaica and is often referred to as "The Holiday Home of Cricket". Sabina Park became a Test cricket ground in 1930 when it hosted the visiting MCC team for the second Test in the West Indies' first home series. This picturesque ground is perhaps one of the most significant in Test cricket history recording the first triple century in the game with England's Andy Sandham's 325 versus the West Indies in the 1930 game. The 365 not out by Sir Garfield Sobers which stood as a Test record for over 36 years is more regaled, as was Lawrence Rowe's world record on debut 214 and 100 not out against the visiting New Zealanders in 1972.
The George Headley stand which dominates the south end is currently the only stand in the ground named after anyone, and has a capacity of just over 6,000. The Eastern Stands has given way to a "Party Stand" replacing the popular "Mound" stand. The general capacity of Jamaicans for excess is aptly demonstrated in the construction of the huge five-level concrete stand which hosts the outside broadcast facilities, players facilities as well as a fleet of upscale private boxes. The members pavilion lies square of the wicket on the west side.

Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley, OM (6 February 1945 – 11 May 1981) was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and lead singer for the ska, rocksteady and reggae band Bob Marley & The Wailers (1963–1981). Marley remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited with helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience.
Marley's music was heavily influenced by the social issues of his homeland, and he is considered to have given voice to the specific political and cultural nexus of Jamaica. His best-known hits include "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Could You Be Loved", "Stir It Up", "Get Up Stand Up", "Jamming", "Redemption Song", "One Love" and, "Three Little Birds", as well as the posthumous releases "Buffalo Soldier" and "Iron Lion Zion". The compilation album Legend (1984), released three years after his death, is reggae's best-selling album, going ten times Platinum which is also known as one Diamond in the U.S., and selling 25 million copies worldwide.

[Kingston, June 25, 2013] Eighty boys and girls from eight primary schools will energize the field at Sabina Park on Friday with a display of skills during lunch time at the West Indies/India tri-nation match. The schools, dubbed "Super 8" teams, emerged as top performers in the WICB/Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket camp which ended in March with Santa Cruz Primary the winner. Santa Cruz beat Howard Cooke Primary with while they scored 132 runs. The schools demonstrated, within fifteen minutes of the lunch break, correct techniques of batting, bowling, catching and fielding as developed during the training and coaching provided by the WICB/Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket programme. [Kingston, June 25, 2013] Eighty boys and girls from eight primary schools will energize the field at Sabina Park on Friday with a display of skills during lunch time at the West Indies/India tri-nation match.
The schools, dubbed "Super 8" teams, emerged as top performers in the WICB/Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket camp which ended in March with Santa Cruz Primary the winner. Santa Cruz beat Howard Cooke Primary with while they scored 132 runs.
The schools demonstrated, within fifteen minutes of the lunch break, correct techniques of batting, bowling, catching and fielding as developed during the training and coaching provided by the WICB/Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket programme.
Participants are from Tarrant, Excelsior, Zion Hill, Bounty Hall, Howard Cooke, New Works, Santa Cruz and Old Harbour Primary schools.

6. The Pietrosu Rodnei Natural Reserve, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (listed in 1980, although it was estabilished in 1932), part of the Rodna Mountains National Park; the reserve protects plants and animals such as edelweiss, gentians, marmots, chamois etc.
7. The Maramures Mountains Natural Park, the biggest and wildest natural park in Romania, covering 1480 sq km; the park protects 1260 plant species, bears, wolves, lynxes etc.
8. Breb Village, adopted by the HMS Prince of Wales (who bought here three old wooden houses).
9. Sarbi Village, which hosts a group of water-powered machines (watermills, thresher, alcohol distilleries, whirlpools).
10. Budesti Village, the best-preserved traditional Maramures settlement.

Abruzzo Travel - Abruzzo (pronounced [aˈbruttso]) is a region in Italy, its western border lying less than 50 miles (80 km) due east of Rome. Abruzzo borders the region of Marche to the north, Lazio to the west and south-west, Molise to the south-east, and the Adriatic Sea to the east. Although geographically more of a central than southern region, ISTAT (the Italian statistical authority) considers it part of Southern Italy, a vestige of Abruzzos historic association with the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.

The region is situated at the centre of the Italian peninsula facing the Adriatic, which it follows along 150 km of beaches and rocks. With an area of 10,794 km2 (4,168 sq mi), and bordered on the east by the Adriatic and on the west by the Apennines, it is one of the most mountainous regions in Italy (the Corno Grande in the Gran Sasso massif, at 2,914 m (9,560.37 ft), is the highest summit in the Apennines). The rivers, although numerous, are all seasonal except for the biggest - the Pescara and the Sangro. In the interior are the 500 km2 (190 sq mi) of the Abruzzo National Park, where rare examples of Mediterranean flora and fauna survive (chamois, wolves, bears, golden eagles).The climate is varied - warm and dry on the coast, an alpine climate in the mountainous interior. Major roads and railway lines link the region to the south, west and north of Italy and the rest of Europe.[1]

Humans have inhabited Abruzzo since Neolithic times. A skeleton from Lama dei Peligni in the province of Chieti has been radiometrically dated to 6,540 bp.[2] The name Abruzzo appears to derive from the Latin Aprutium, although in Roman times the region was known at various times as Picenum, Sabina et Samnium, Flaminia et Picenum and/or Campania et Samnium.[3] This region was known as Aprutium in the Middle Ages arising from four possible sources. Many think it is apparently a corruption of Praetutium, or rather of the name of the people Praetutii, applied to their chief city, Interamnaes, now present day Teramo. Another etymology is from the Latin aper (boar) so that Aprutium was the land of boars or from abruptum (rugged, steep). A more recent etymology is from the Latin expression a Bruttiis (from the Bruttii) meaning the land that began from the Bruzi people, who moved south to occupy Calabria.[3][4]
Until 1963 it was part of the Abruzzi region with Molise. The term Abruzzi derives from the time when the region was part of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and the territory was administered as Abruzzo Citeriore (Nearer Abruzzo) and Abruzzo Ulteriore I and II (Farther Abruzzo I and II ), that being nearer and farther from Naples, the capital of the kingdom.[3] Abruzzo Citeriore is present day Chieti province. Abruzzo Ulteriore I comprised the Teramo and Pescara provinces; Abruzzo Ulteriore II is now the Province of LAquila. In this province is found the city of CORFINIO (known as CORFINIUM in ancient Italy), the chief city of the Paeligni, 7 m. N. of Sulmona in the valley of the Aternus. The site of the original town is occupied by the village of Pentima. It probably became subject to Rome in the 4th century B.C., though it does not appear in Roman history before the Social War (90 B.C.), in which it was at first adopted by the allies as the capital and seat of government of their newly founded state under the name Italia (this form, not Italica, is vouched for by the coins). It appears also as a fortress of importance in the Civil War, though it resisted Caesars attack for a week (49 B.C.). The war was lost, but the name Italia remained to eventually be adopted by all of Italy. Entering Corfinio from the east, a plaque can be observed commemorating, and attributing the designation of the adopted name Italia to the peninsula by the Italic people of the region. These people were honored by Caesar as citizens of Rome.

"Darwin in Northern Territory, auch Top End genannt, ist eine sympatische Stadt mit enspanntem tropischen Flair. Die Straende der Stadt haben ihren Reiz selbst wenn die vielen Quallen fuer acht Monate das BAden unmoeglich machen. In Darwin habe ich 6 Tage verbracht, 3 davon in Lichtfield und Kakadu National Park. Der Kakadu NP ist mit seiner verblueffender Zahl an verschiedenen Lebensraeumen und Tieren etwas ganz Besonderes. Dort befinden sich auch einige der bedeutesten Felsmalereien in ganz Australien. Der Name Kakadu kommt von "Gaduju", so heisst eine Sprache der hiesigen Aborigines. Der groesste Teil des Parks gehoert den Ureinwohnern. Sie haben den Park der Regierung verpachtet, damit sie dort den Park einrichten konnte. Auf dem Gelaende befinden sich mehrere Siedlungen, und ca. ein Drittel der Ranger sind Aborigines. Leider haben wir keine der Siedlung gesehen.

Darwin w Northern Territory, rowniez nazywane Top End, jest sympatycznym miastem z rozluzniona tropikalna atmosfera. Na plazach roi sie od jellyfish, ktore sa bardzo grozne, ale to nie odstrasza zadnego plywacza. W Darwin spedzilam 6 dni, z tego 3 dni bylam w Lichtfield i w Kakadu National Park. Kakadu NP jest czyms niezwyklym z powodu jego nadzwyczajnej liczby roznego rodzaju roslin i zwerzat. Znajduja sie tam duzo waznych malowidel skalnych. Nazwa Kakadu pochodzi z "Gaduju", tak nazywa sie jezyk pobliskich Aborygenow. Wieksza czesc nalezy do tych przodkow. Oni wynajmuja ten park Rzadowi, aby oni nim rozporzadzali.
