VU Induction Program

The VU Induction Program is an essential tool for all employees who are new to VU and those returning to work after a period of absence.

The learning activities and materials provide you with a broad overview of work life and learning at VU to assist you in settling into your new role.

Teaching Induction Program

The VU Teaching Induction Program provides a comprehensive induction to teaching.

The program is open to ongoing, contract and sessional teaching staff, as well as postgraduate research students who have an interest in teaching. The program is a short, focused way for new teachers to immerse themselves in an introduction to the theory and practice of teaching.

The program will be offered in both first and second semester each year (over a whole semester). It includes three face-to-face workshops and six Quick Modules through VU Collaborate, and is coordinated by the Continuing Educational Development team in the Centre for Collaborative Learning and Teaching (CCLT).

Dr Andre Nelson talks about his experience participating in the VU Teaching Induction Program.
