The biggest challenge these past few weeks has been finding enough interesting pictures to take inside since I can’t bring myself to go outside and wander around. I feel like that sense of boredom or “What now?” is coming through in pictures. It’s been taking a lot more photos to find something that I actually like.

Currently digging harsh black and whites, full of contrast. I attribute it to the snow, but there’s something so visually appealing about the opposition between highlights and shadows in many black and white pictures. Or maybe that sharpness adds a new, unseen quality to everyday items, like grills and backyards and bedrooms.
