South New York Road

Last weekend, I got to head down to Hammonton, NJ to attend the opening reception for the RAW Photography Exhibition, since one of my pictures was chosen to be included. On the way out to Hammonton, I drove past some of my old stomping grounds. Across from this little garage, which is actually part of the Seaview Resort, is a friends’ house that I spent many hours in growing up. There’s something so intriguing about Atlantic County at night.

Yoga

Sutras: For a Long Time and Continous

“You guys look too serious. We’re going to do something fun,” my teacher says halfway through our yoga class. She turns up the volume on her iPod and has each one of us place a blanket on the floor before us. We drop to our knees, sweep the blanket forward, pull back, and return to standing. We do this until the song ends. I don’t know if there’s a name for this, but I don’t care. I love that my teacher smiles as much as I do during our practice.
