California (pronounced i/kælɨˈfɔrnjə/) is a state located on the West Coast of the United States. It is by far the most populous U.S. state, and the third most extensive (after Alaska and Texas). It is home to the nation's second- and sixth-largest census statistical areas (Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and San Francisco Bay Area), and eight of the nation's fifty most populated cities (Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Fresno, Sacramento, Long Beach and Oakland). The capital city is Sacramento.
California's diverse geography ranges from the Pacific Coast in the west, to the Sierra Nevada mountains in the east – from the Redwood–Douglas-fir forests of the northwest, to the Mojave Desert areas in the southeast. The center of the state is dominated by Central Valley, a major agricultural area. California contains both the highest and lowest points in the contiguous United States (Mount Whitney and Death Valley), and has the third-longest coastline of all states (after Alaska and Florida). Earthquakes are a common occurrence due to the state's location along the Pacific Ring of Fire: about 37,000 are recorded annually.
San José, or San Jose, is the Spanish for Saint Joseph. It usually refers to one of two major cities. These are:

Star lit skies, Texas eyes
Looking down on me tonight
Across the street, strangers meet
Hoping to catch a rising star
You and I will stay up and wake up and then
One more day, come what may at the San Jose
Spend the night, become the night
You never run out of things to do
Moonlight swims, midnight sins
And rooms for a secret rendezvous
You and I, will stay up and wake up and then
One more day, come what may at the San Jose
One more day, come what may
[Chorus:]
we rock all the way from san jose
to the east time zone cause my microphone is worldwide
you can't hide, no matter where you reside
and it's all the same from the shores of maine
to the left coast where the sun leaves ya stained
we steady rock that doin' it , rock that do it
still bein' ill when we check one-two it
[Verse 1:]
sit back while I come and attack the similac dance track
your headphone jack is still in tact cause my nack for ripping the abstract
practical tactics, you're getting your rap fix in plastic
cellophane keeping it plain we stain ears with cheers from volunteers
who loving their raps clear and simple, but at the same complex
so I gotta open up and spit the bomb text
the conquest-idor you requested for, so what you think I was bringin out my best for
to restore the art prepare to depart, from san jo yelling land ho we flow
through the record pop I'm reckin shop and never stop
from the present back when my record dropped I copped attention
to make you sit back and listen
and bring your seat to an upright position
[Chorus]
[Verse 2:]
lean back unwind, let your spine relax
these tracks gonna take you on a magical ride
bonafide and certified 100 percent real and ill
and still reinventing the wheel.
it's a one-two punch with all the splendor
wack emcees get their tapes returned to sender
I got places to go and people to see
mics to meet, beats to freak, got knobs to tweak
so turn up the maines, lobster gettin' hot
all the way to TJ to hit a taco spot
then head north on the 5, its all the way live
from the 214, bringing Christ to your door
now the rubber hits the road like adidas hittin' stages
I compose hits upon college ruled pages
used as my treble clef and so def
jose can you see, we love to emcee
[Chorus]
[Verse 3a:]
I'm airborn till I find the place I never been
While I'm piloting my pilot ink pen
We move to new places trying to keep pushin
And if you drown in the sound your seat cushion
Can be used as a device made for flotation
tourin the nation, rocking my playstation
in the back seat while I make blake drive
going city to city just living off the vibe
[Verse 3b:]
and i'm doing my best to avoid the road rages
bumpin' sting's third LP, the soul cages
hittin' thrift shops and only clean rest stops
hoping everything's great, haven't eaten since eight
when we stopped at quizno's, I guess anything goes
left my calling card in case anybody needs tracks
selling stacks of wax out the trunk for wages
Sitting in a train, watching you listen to the rain.
You are cute, so cute and I ask you for your name
You say your name is like the sun.
Warm and happy for everyone, are you from town?
Which town? We're both on the run
I read a magazine about a girl with a dream
Who was looking to find a meaning
And she looked just like you
Say where are you going to?
Where are you going to?
Then
She said I'm going all the way to San José
And I hope you will follow me there
She said I'm going all the way to San José and I hope
You will follow me there
So then I drowned in your face and I swum in your
Mouth for a while
So wild and then the time arrived
And we talked until the sun came up
Behind the mountain tops which burst the sky
And I felt like I could fly
You made me feel so free,
Made me feel like I could be
On my way to eternity
So take me on a ride tonight you and i
We're gonna make it glide
Then
She said I'm going all the way to San José
And I hope you will follow me there
She said I'm going all the way to San José
And I hope you will follow me there
Then
She said I'm going all the way to San José
And I hope you will follow me there
She said I'm going all the way to San José
And I hope you will follow me there
This is what I heard inside my head longing for a
Change lying in my bed
Dreaming dreams of you I'm gonna make it too
This is what I heard inside my head
Star lit skies, Texas eyes
Looking down on me tonight.
Across the street, strangers meet
hoping to catch a rising star.
You and I, will stay up and wake up
And then...
One more day, come what may at the San Jose.
Spend the night, become the night
You never run out of things to do.
Moonlight swims, midnight sins
Rooms for a secret rendezvous.
You and I, will stay up and wake up
And then...
One more day, come what may at the San Jose.
(Instrumental)
One more day, steal away, come what may
At the San Jose!
Mona, you know you wander
on the street corner
I should have warned you
all of the boys
with all of their poison
they'll rob you blind
and i knew your mother
god rest her soul
where was your father?
Yeah well nobody knows
i wish things were different
the hand you were given
it just don't seem fair
and you play with what you're given
you're doing fine
you try not to think about it
well most of the time
you just do what you have to
to make sure you get through
yeah but sometimes it hurts
singing Mona, you know you wander
on the street corner
I should have warned you
all of the boys
with all of their poison
as they make their way
yeah to San Jose
yeah well you're still so young
yeah but you feel so old
it's just that the things you've been through
that are making you cold
well I think you're gonna turn soon
gotta careful with my moves
just might lose you for good
yeah and I can't fight your demons
yeah cuz i'd have to fight you
they're so far inside you
and I just can't seem to get through
and it ain't none of my business
ain't none of my place
yeah but i still had to try
singing Mona, you know you gonna
on the street corner
I should have warned you
all of the boys
with all of their poison
as they make they're way
yeah to San Jose
oh now and i think i've lost you
can't reach you no more
cause you're high as a kite
and i'm down here on the floor
yah i'm begging you to come back down
but you can't even hear that
it's floated away
oh yeah it's such a shame
cause i remember the days
of the sunshine and rain
yeah when we used to play
on your mother's front lawn
singing those old songs
without a care in the world
oh i'm just singing
Mona
you know you wander
on the street corner
I know you're gonna offer
all of the boys and
all of their poison
they make their way
yeah to San Jose darling
yeah to San Jose now
Yeah Mona
you know you're gonna
and so darling for once please get clean for me
nothing else left i can say
when i refuse to say words that won't break through to you
deny when you see me lie when you tell me i'm wrong
it seems good and fine to you
the drugs that you're doing are bad
and i wish it was easier for me to say
please girl stop using
don't run away run along to a world that won't lie to you
trust you and get drawn into your eyes
there are places that take you in its not some drug rehab
its what i've been trying to say
this world has lost faith in you
for the promises that you have made
but there's still a place that believes in you
just close your eyes make believe that this world will come true
the pain that you feel is gone
vices in life fade away and there's no more pain
no more drugs, no more lies, no need to worry
cause I'm standing here by your side
where no harm will come to you
don't you see your trust is safe with me
of course you must get here first
no need for directions
allow me to show you the way
do you know the way to san jose?
let me show you the way
do you know where to turn when you do wrong?
writen by Bacharach & David
Do you know the way to San Jose?
I've been away so long. I may go wrong and lose my way.
Do you know the way to San Jose?
I'm going back to find some peace of mind in San Jose.
L.A. is a great big freeway.
Put a hundred down and buy a car.
In a week, maybe two, they'll make you a star
Weeks turn into years. How quick they pass
And all the stars that never were
Are parking cars and pumping gas
Do you know the way to San Jose?
They've got a lot of space. There'll be a place where I can stay
I was born and raised in San Jose
I'm going back to find some peace of mind in San Jose.
Fame and fortune is a magnet.
It can pull you far away from home
With a dream in your heart you're never alone.
Dreams turn into dust and blow away
And there you are without a friend
You pack your car and ride away
I've got lots of friends in San Jose
Do you know the way to San Jose?
