Grey or gray is an achromatic or neutral color.
Complementary colors are defined to mix to grey, either additively or subtractively, and many color models place complements opposite each other in a color wheel. To produce grey in RGB displays, the R, G, and B primary light sources are combined in proportions equal to that of the white point. In four-color printing, greys are produced either by the black channel, or by an approximately equal combination of CMY primaries. Images which consist wholly of neutral colors are called monochrome, black-and-white or greyscale.
The first recorded use of grey as a color name in the English language was in AD 700.Grey is the British, Canadian, Australian, Irish, New Zealand and South African spelling, although gray remained in common usage in the UK until the second half of the 20th century.Gray is the preferred American spelling, although grey is an accepted variant.Gray became the preferred spelling in American English around 1825.
Most grey pigments have a cool or warm cast to them, as the human eye can detect even a minute amount of saturation.[citation needed]Yellow, orange, and red create a "warm grey". Green, blue, and violet create a "cool grey". When there is no cast at all, it is referred to as "neutral grey", "achromatic grey" or simply "grey".

Bonded by Blood
Violet Kray: Shall I tell you my dream? I dreamed that I was a beautiful white swan. And I could fly anywhere, do anything. I ate fish and pecked at things with my beak. And I had this egg, a beautiful egg it was. And there were noises coming from inside the shell. And do you know what the noises were? They were - now listen carefully - they were children's voices. And I looked after this egg and kept it safe, until one day there was a hatching sound. And out came two boys and they were mine. And they were wonderful and they were perfect.
[to Ronnie and Reggie, aged three]::Violet Kray: Who loves you, eh? That's right, Mummy loves you, you little monsters. Mummy loves you more than anything - more than all the cakes, more than all the jewellery, more than all the chocolate in the world.
[Ronnie and Reggie hold down the Italian gangster on the snooker table after he has demanded protection money]::Ronald Kray: You go back and you tell Rutherman no-one fucks with us. This is nothing. Give me your hand. Do it!::[Ronnie sticks a sword through the gangster's hand and twists it. Blood drips from the snooker table]::Italian Gangster: [screams]::Reggie Kray: Just show him this and tell him we let you off lightly. Hear me? Say "thank you".::Ronald Kray: Say "thank you".::Reggie Kray: Say "thank you".::Italian Gangster: [screams] Thank you.
[the Kray twins have been called up for National Service in the Army]::Drill Sergeant: You are not people any more. You are not human beings. You are part of a machine. You do not wear what you want to, think what you want to - you wear what we tell you, think what we tell you, eat when we tell you, sleep, shit and fuck when we tell you!::[a soldier giggles]::Drill Sergeant: Someone stick a feather up your arse, lad?::Soldier: Sarge?::Drill Sergeant: You're grinning like a bloody Cheshire cat!::[Ronnie and Reggie start walking away]::Drill Sergeant: And where do you little darlings think you're off to?::Reggie Kray: Home, for a cup of tea with our mum.::Drill Sergeant: Get your nasty little arses back in here!::Reggie Kray: Look, you've got nothing to say and you're saying it too loudly. So...::Ronald Kray: ...Bollocks!::[the other soldiers laugh]::Drill Sergeant: QUIET!::[the Sergeant tries to restrain Ronnie and Reggie, so, in perfect synchrony, they both floor him with a punch]
Rose: I was on the bus the other day. And some old toerag was boasting about all he'd suffered during the war. Stupid old... I tell you, they don't know. It was the women who had the war - the real war. The women were left at home in the shit, not sitting in some sparkling plane or gleaming tank. There's no glamour for us. They should have been with me when old Pauline Woolley went in to labour. D'you remember that, Violet?::Violet Kray: Yes, yes I do, darling.::Rose: Seven hours of screaming down Bethnal Green bloody tube station. Then I had to cut the baby's head off - to save the mother's life. She died anyway, poor old cow. God, there was so much blood! Jesus! And the abortions. Those poor girls. One day they'll drain Victoria Park lake. And you know what they'll find? What glorious remnants of the Second World War? Babies, that's what. Bullets and dead babies. Men! Mum's right. They stay kids all their fucking lives. And they end up heroes - or monsters. Either way they win. Women have to grow up. If *they* stay children, they become victims.
Palendri: I love London - it's so wonderfully dirty. And The Beatles - I adore The Beatles. You know The Beatles?::Reggie Kray: No::Ronald Kray: I believe they know us.
George Cornell: Well, well, well, all the pretty boys together, eh?::Steve: Piss off, Cornell.::George Cornell: How's your boyfriend, lately? Still in tears over his auntie?::Steve: You wanna watch your mouth.::George Cornell: You what?::Steve: I said, you wanna your mouth.::George Cornell: [grabbing him] Poofs don't warn anyone! You listening? You tell your fat poof friend he doesn't scare me! Oh, he's bringing over his Yankee friends from America, getting ideas a bit above his station, inn'he? Well, tell him he can own all he likes, but he's still tied to his mother's apron strings. OK? Goodnight, girls.::[he leaves]::Steve's Friend: You gonna tell Ron?::Steve: I don't think I'm gonna have to. Half the fucking pub heard him.
Eddie Pellam: It's Cornell.::Charlie Pellam: Oh, what does he want? I thought he wasn't supposed to leave his coffin when the sun was up.::[Cornell storms into the scrapyard office, clutching a newspaper]::George Cornell: Those Kray brothers are getting on my tits.::[Charlie sends the secretary out]::Charlie Pellam: You know, Cornell, it's amazing you can walk at all with your foot in your mouth so much.::[Cornell throws his newspaper onto the desk. A photo of the Krays is on it with the titles "Krays join crime fight" and "Businessmen aid charity boxing night"]::George Cornell: You seen this?::Eddie Pellam: Well, surprise us, what is it?::George Cornell: Kray brothers, splattered all over the papers. Bloody heroes, they are! This to charity, that to charity, the other to charity.::Eddie Pellam: What does it matter?::George Cornell: What does it matter! You sit here in your little office crushing cars into little snotballs, what does it matter? I'm out there earwigging it on the street and what I'm hearing is Kray Kray Kray Kray Kray! The pavement stinks with Kray!::Charlie Pellam: What are you saying, Cornell?::George Cornell: You know damn well what I'm saying!::Charlie Pellam: Cornell, we've been through this a million times. The Krays are not interested in us. Course, they will be if you don't shut that megaphone of a voice box.::George Cornell: No, no, no. You don't know what they're saying about you, they're saying things.::Charlie Pellam: Things? What things?::George Cornell: Things. I say shoot the bastards. Shoot them. What are they, a pair of bumboys, let's put them out of their misery! A couple of movie gangsters! All they're interested in is what they look like! They make me sick! They're a pair of locusts! You won't have a thing, you won't have the pants you're sitting in unless we do something now. They walk down the street like Kings! King ponces, and you know why? They own the fucking street! So what I say is, bang-bang, all over, nice one. Nice and sweet, easy, end of aggro, OK?
[the policeman enters Violet Kray's house, looking for her husband Charlie. He trips over a broom in the hallway]::Policeman: That is a lethal weapon, that is.::Violet Kray: Housework is a lethal business, Constable.
Violet Kray: I don't think it's possible to love someome too much but I think you can love them in the wrong way.
when all is dark
there are no points of reference
and we no longer navigate
by the stars
we just end up somewhere
...nowhere...
where lights are dim
and shades of black are grey
time appears like a golden calf
while the moments slip away
a search for the freedom in the future
when the hours fall behind
I can always die
another day
desperately I seize tomorrow
all out of my reach
that is what I learned
this is what I teach
corruption seems to flourish
while promises decay
where lights are dim
and shades of black are grey
where lights are dim
and shades of black are grey
from the moment of arrival
we are led astray
with nothing but a distant cry
from deep within a soul
a wordless voice
to guide us on the way
desperately we name the voice
and make the cries our own
as if to deny the fact
that we are all alone
in solitude we mingle
disillusioned we fall prey
where lights are dim
and shades of black are grey
I can always live
Watch... the shame, and the sin painted on your face
How it happened I don't remember, born like this
Such sweet surrender
Taste the pain, corroding like a blade
But you, you were the first to be sure
Watch... your soul, regressing, uncontrolled
How it happened I don't remember, born like this
Such sweet surrender
Raped... my mind, never to be found
But you, you were the first to be sure
Back to the early days! X3
Watch me cry, lost somewhere in time
How it happened I don't remember, born like this
Such sweet surrender
Stop me now, as I'm creeping in my House
Must be some way outta 've here
Nevermind the cost is clear
I am the one I hate don't make me a slave
But me, I was the first to be sure
It's not too difficult, now I'm on my way
Just took inside me
To exactly the same way
Using violence everyday!!!
GTR solo
Repeat 2nd
My life is shorter everyday
A color for me it's only grey
No more respect for all my friends
My soul is so dirty
My head is so empty
I'm waiting for the (only) sure thing in life
I'm dying
You always say
That your life's been thrown away
That's why you turn to a man upstairs
And pray he'll save you everyday
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Long years go by
As you still sit to wonder why
Your voice can't scream out loud
And your mind's been trapped inside
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Burn yourself down
Bring yourself down
Burn yourself down
Bring yourself down
You know I'm drowning in myself
Drowning in myself
You know I'm drowning in myself
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Burn yourself down
Bring yourself down
Burn yourself down
Let the light regenerate
its power to heal is in the silver
and the light
Light to the seventh
Let the darkness degenerate
its power to hurt is in the gold
and the dark
darkness to the ninth
Let the grey submerge
its power to forgot is in the fire
and the grey
grey to the fifth
Let the red heal
its power to regenerate is in the
liquid and the red
red to the eleventh
Let this life wipe you away
wipe your image away
bring your memory back
to the white immaculate sands
of a self-destructing eve
Grey to the end
My swan song sounds like a remedy.
Take your bat mitts and you can't catch me,
No you can't catch me.
Load me up.
Sometimes it fits like I wanna see.
But then these fits take a hold of me
And that news sounds like a record,
But the record don't move me.
It's alright, as long as it's black or white.
Except when they're grey. (Ok)
That's not my favorite colour.
It's alright, as long as it's black or white.
Except when they're grey. (Ok)
That's not my favorite colour.
Hey.
Let's bake that egg like it's chemistry.
Know what, you can shake it.
But your hands can't touch what your eyes won't see.
Give it up.
Just scratch that itch or you'll let it be.
That burned out blitz, but it don't relieve.
That voice that howls what connects you,
what connects you don't move me.
It's alright, as long as it's black or white.
Except when they're grey. (Ok)
That's not my favorite colour.
It's alright, as long as it's black or white.
Except when they're grey. (Ok)
That's not my favorite colour.
It's alright, as long as it's black or white.
It's alright.
It's alright, as long as it's black or white.
You ask your dad
Why you have to stay at home
Everyday the same old staffy room
He tells you the same old story
If you go out you'll be sick tonight
Then he starts to talk about it
The days when everything was allright
The sky was blue and bright
Not dark and grey
The air was clear
And you could go out to play
There were green hills and flowers
No buildings and no toxic power
The sea was full of life
No plastic bags and no pools of oil
Spoken verse:
Mankind destroyin' it's home
The greed has taken the world by storm
Without any consideration
It teaches man to kill the planet
Which he is living on
Soon there will be no more chance
For him
And he has to lie in his
Self digged grave...
You ask yourself
Who is responsible
Who had the right
To steal your life
You are not guilty
When you were born it was all too late
Look out of your window
when everyone agrees with you
you know you're wrong
when everyone embraces you
you don't belong
nothing these days
means what it says
everything's gone grey
takes a life to live to learn
where love comes from
only takes three little words
to know it's gone
nothing these days
means what it says
everything's gone grey
if you don't want to know the score
then just turn away
back to the world where papers burn
and words decay
nothing these days
means what it says
Everything I see is coloured grey
that’s no recognition in dismay
every system has its second sight
indefinable the ruling might
Talking black and white
to lay down what is wrong and right
tell the lie of good and evil
narrow minded view
the source of all religious stew
cause everything I see
it’s all just shades of grey
Trying to escape into belief
disappointment’s all you will receive
leaving judgement to a greater power
a sight that evolution will devour
Painting black and white
declaring what is wrong or right
tell the tale of good and evil
small-minded point of view
the source of all the ritual stew
cause everything I see
it’s all just shades of grey
Fear of total death haunting your mind
hoping your eternal life to find
searching for redemption is your aim
deciding others fate for you the same
Thinking black and white
to write down what is wrong and right
tell the lie of good and evil
narrow minded view
the base of all the ritual stew
cause everything I see
They say we're free to speak to speak whatever we may have
to say and that we're free to wear it all in every fucking way.
It's up to fucking you to fulfill your damned fucking life
with ease and to carry any symbol,
view or dream that you may fucking please.
But hairstyles never cease to stir their fucking minds
en masse. Your clothes will always bite big chumps
right out of their concrete ass. You'll be corrected.
censored and asked to appear in a milder way.
And in the end eventually if you're weak you'll fade in grey.
Authority. Society. Parents. Teachers. Employees and God.
Authority. Society. Parents. Teachers. Employees and God.
Fade into Grey. Fade into Grey. Fade into Grey.
For every punch you'll take in life, learn to always at least
give two. Don't ever let somebody get away shitting on you.
There may be laws to follow. Drugs to stay away from in
your life. But never live it feeling your damned hands
and feets always being tied.
But hairstyles never cease to stir their fucking minds
en masse. Your clothes will always bite big chumps
right out of their concrete ass. You'll be corrected.
censored and asked to appear in a milder way.
Hopes falling away
There's nothing to stay
All around me just loss
But who pays the cost?
My longing it ends
On this last of all days
And the last tear dried out
Before touching the ground
Brown leaves are flying
Blown down by the wind
Autumn is coming
Turning me to grey
These days getting cold
Uncertain future obscured
The uncrawling frost
Slowly covers my soul
Brown leaves are flying
Blown down by the wind
Autumn is coming
Turning me to grey
Iceflowers on the window
No chance to watch the world
It's the beginning of the end
I'm not afraid of winterfrost
Brown leaves are flying
Blown down by the wind
Autumn is coming
I'm on my way
stumblin' through this blindin' stage
so cold and grey
? is the best
have I made a mistake
but I'm dealing with these problems
the choices that I've made
I can't deny I'm missing you
I can't turn away
I can't forget the good times
through the course of our stay
even if it's over and it's done, even if it's over
never stopped believing you're the one
come on, come on, come on
wait, wait a minute
hold on a little longer
cus' you know we've been caught
we've been caught now
could you hold on, hold on
n' stay, stay now
could it be that we're falling down
well you know we've been caught at the cross roads
come on baby hold on
'though many days
have passed I know our lives have changed
when I see your face
these butterflies remain the same
are you feeling this way
who knows where we're going
life is so strange
every day that passes now
all I see is your name
could it be we're destined
are we walking away
even if it's over and it's done, is it really over
never stopped believing you're the one
come on, come on, come on
wait, wait a minute
hold on a little longer
cus' you know we've been caught
we've been caught now
could you hold on, hold on
n' stay, stay now

Got these thoughts in my head, that maybe your leaving.
The maze is avoiding what'll push you away.
But the realization is the maybe your waiting,
in a holding pattern. Am I in your way?
I close my eyes and count to ten,
Good, your still here, do it again.
I close my eyes, and count to ten.
Don't you reason, you will find they say in this,
new ground, new stage.
Don't you worry, I'm not here to blame you.
New ground, new stage.
For two years I've been here, cold and shaking.
No one could tempt me while hidden away
But now I've awoken by the lone standing reason
that while the pain's not forgotten, you push it so far away.
I hole my breathe and count to ten.
Good, your still here, do it again.
I hold my breath and count to ten.
I can't believe that at the end of the day
That is all you can say
Well it's not you its me, but this just has to be
the conclusion to this story.
I can't believe that at the end of today
I am still lost in Grey
I keep holding on.
You ask your dad
Why you have to stay at home

Grey's my favorite color
Black and white has never been my thing
I'll take my drink luke warm now
Hot and cold is not the thing for me
Absolutes are hidden
I've buried my convictions
I cannot be blind no more
Numb to what I'm living for
Help me stop this compromise that justifies these lies
I need your passion in this life
I don't want to impose
Who really needs to know what I believe
'Cause no one likes rocking boats
And who would care to see the way I see
So give me the fire, yeah
God give me your fire
Grey skies clouding up the things we used to see with wide eyes
Maybe everything was meant to be this way
Will it ever change
But are we stuck here on our own
It's all gone grey
It's all gone grey
I found telling you the truth the hardest thing to get out
I know it wasn't you that made me feel this way
Will it ever change
Or are we stuck here on our own.
And give it one more try
I don't know if I would stay
I feel so much better now
And baby begging me
Will leave you so empty inside
So you shouldn't even try
I know every last regret inside of me is my own
The way I hold them close has made me be this way
I will never change
I know I'm stuck here on my own, on my own
Given one more try
I don't know if I would stay
I feel so much better now
Where did we go wrong
I know you still hold on to me
But it's time that you let go
I gave you things I had
That I could not get back again
But I'm better off alone
It's all gone grey
It's all gone grey
It's all gone grey
Fighting against the way we've been conditioned
Is the pain of life and mind
The more we see the more we know
The more we can't seem to find...
A way of living life free of control
Without reality being sch a fucking hole
Where all we have to do is survive
With no restrictions on our lives
In this situation we're forced to hypocrisy
We're made to set rules for ourselves
Distrust is taught as a way of survival
(Follow your heart, trust your head)
We've got to accept that we're all alike
Fascist is anarchist is life, one makes the other
And the other is one
Just reflections of black and white

A graveyard grows inside my head.
They planted things inside me.
I am soiled by the stale thoughts of long dead.
I was told to leave childish things behind.
2+2, ABC?
Death of dreams spreading disease in my mind.
Grey, everything I see.
Grey, Everything around me.
Open your eyes and ears little one.
The access must be free.
Injected and poisoned by information.
The blood of life turning to water.
Drowning the spark, the real me.
Choking the outside, the pressure inside,
set me free.
Grey, everything I see.
Grey, Everything around me.
Dead, still young,
learn from hurt.
Silent tongue,
burning word.
Dead, still young,
-See evil.
learn from hurt.
-Hear evil.
Silent tongue.
-Speak evil.
Burning word.
-Inside me.
Grey, everything I see.
I must get away from this place
I've thought about running away
But anywhere I could go
Would not get you off of my mind
I can't stand the clutter, I can't stand the space
Everything is all wrong, everything out of place with you
With you
With you gone away
Everything's a little bit grey to me
You stole the color from me
And I'm waiting and I'm wondering
How to get it all back
Draw the shades over me
Sweep the colorblind through my sight
Leave me lost in between
All the black and white
Take the paint from my pallet and leave me with nothing to work with
Take the heart from my chest and leave me with nothing to feel.
Everything's a little bit grey to me
You stole the color from me
And I'm waiting and I'm wondering
How to get it all back
I'm a little confused
I'm a little bit bruised
I'm a little betrayed
You leave me grey
I'm a little confused
I'm a little bit bruised
I'm a little betrayed
You leave me
Grey
To me
You stole the color from me
And I'm waiting and I'm wondering
How to get it all back
Undo this guilt, bathing in filth
Grey that lurks inside of me
Grey, feel I can't take it
Grey that works inside of me
Grey
Slowly I run, hurt me for fun
Grey that lurks inside of me
Grey, feel I can't take it
Grey that works inside of me
Grey
See is all I say - all I see is grey
See is all I say - all I see is grey
Grey...all I see is grey
Undo this guilt, bathing in filth
Grey that lurks inside of me
Grey, feel I can't take it
Grey that works inside of me
Grey
See is all I say - all I see is grey
See is all I say - all I see is grey
I’m longing for a place
Where there are no straight lines
And the colors just came roaring down
And the weather’s always fine
I want to drive down the memory road
With no one else in sight
When I find that you were lying to me
It is already late
And the moon will spare its life
Turn to rotting bodies
What’s left to you if I have all that I want?
Can I give it to you?
What’s left to you if you have all that I want?
Can I take this?
And the moon spared his life
Turns angry to you
What’s left to you if I have all that I want?
the sky is grey, the sand is grey, and the ocean is grey. i feel right at
home in this stunning monochrome, alone in my way. i smoke and i drink and
every time i blink i have a tiny dream. but as bad as i am i'm proud of the
fact that i'm worse than i seem. what kind of paradise am i looking for? i've
got everything i want and still i want more. maybe some tiny shiny thing will
wash up on the shore. you walk through my walls like a ghost on tv. you
penetrate me and my little pink heart is on its little brown raft floating out
to sea. and what can i say but i'm wired this way and you're wired to me, and
what can i do but wallow in you unintentionally? what kind of paradise am i
looking for? i've got everything i want and still i want more. maybe some tiny
shiny key will wash up on the shore. regretfully, i guess i've got three
simple things to say. why me? why this now? why this way? overtone's ringing,
undertow's pulling away under a sky that is grey on sand that is grey by an
ocean that's grey. what kind of paradise am i looking for? i've got everything
i want and still i want more. maybe some tiny shiny key will wash up on the
Welcome to this world
Where everything's grey
We see the obligation of fighting for
What we believe in
But some don't see the line
Trying to protect the culture's in which they live
Without recognizing their crimes
But I think for myself
That's why they put me in this Hell
I'm a player in the game
No choice is mine but to die again
Scared to die why?
From this erupt world
We are all fighting a battle
We have already lost
Fading and fading right before our eyes
Right before our fucking eyes!
What the fuck is this world coming to?
I can't break away
Trapped in this world of lies and betray
Can't break away
Left in this jail called society
Everything's grey
Without colours total decay
Can't break the fuck away
Children are raised under fanatic conditions
With pride born into their hearts
Still born without sympathy
In a society who take away their rights
But I think for myself
That's why they put me in this Hell
I'm a player in the game
No choice is mine but to die again
Scared to die why?
The future is dead for many of those who have fallen refusing to let it go
Addiction we're victim of affliction
We're choking these walls are caving in
We keep pushing
This world is bleeding
Is this our destiny?
We've built and constructed a false progression
Is this our destiny?
It's not just the fire pumping through our veins
It's not just the cancer we inhale
It's not just the poison we keep drinking... it's everyone
It's you and me
We keep pushing
This world is bleeding
Is this our destiny?
We've built and constructed a false progression
Is this our destiny?
It's not just the actions of our hate
It's not just the division we create
It's not just the one sex, color or creed... it's everyone
It's you and me
Is this our destiny?
Warning finger marks
You are a fake
Sopping wet poison
You are a fake
There is not much sympathy on that bone
My rabbit was under wrong impression
You, over there
A pack of lies, a pack of lies
My rabbit took a step from his fate

Light can't find it's way
Through my window oh
Trapped here since yesterday
Children scream and laugh outside
But all I can do Is
Hide yeah hide
And I am
Grey
Grey
Whoo I am
I'm grey
The plant on the table seems to be depressed,
My teacups are suicidal
They dance with their ears on the edge
Dangerously
The books on a shelf laugh at me
As I try to write my own story
Hmmm
Grey
Grey
Whoo I am
Mmmm
Like my feelings
Grey
Grey
Grey
Grey grey
Like my bones
Like my feelings
Like my eyes clear and old like the waterfalls [?]
Where are my colors?
Where are my colors?
Hmmm
As the night draws
its shadows on you
and the darkness
turns you blue
as the darkness turns to blue
and the night follows you
don't let the moonlight burn you
Please stay - don't let it burn away
and if you stay - let it turn us grey
As the night falls
seals you through
and the darkness
turns you blue
as the darkness turns to blue
and the night surrounds you
don't let the moonlight burn you
Please stay ......
Seems like these days nothing stays the sameAll's washed
away by the wind and the rain
Colors new seem to fade away
Gleaming silver just turns into grey
Chorus:
And I'm wasting time for the better
Salutations in your letter
It's whittled down in to nothing
Tried so hard for your blessing
But I'm searching for a reason
And I'll settle for Treason
Just put me on the firing line
Or just let me die in time
I've seen the world through exotic eyes
Mad men in a hero's disguise
I've been down in the darkest of holes
Relaying numbers to the media tolls
I've crossed the valleys in the darkest of night
Head strong by a beacon of light
I'm not the one here to make you believe
In this autumn rain
We're blessed with autumn skies (autumn skies)
I'm doing it for myself
Not somebody else
I'm doing it for myself
Calling out in shame
Silence engrained
Crying out your name
Something wrong but beautiful, so beautiful
In this awesome rage
Rejecting compromise (compromise)
Undoing it for myself
Not somebody else
Undoing for myself
Calling out in shame
Silence engrained
Crying out your name
Something wrong but beautiful, so beautiful
Like the dead fade away
Life a debt... fade away
Calling out in shame
Silence engrained
Crying out your name
Something wrong but beautiful, so beautiful
Calling out in shame
Silence engrained
Pick it up fights, don't know who's wrong or right
Your senseless battle scares me sometimes
Mass racism, driven with terrorism
Who said that's the way to rule the world?
Destroying our lives, destroying ourselves
Destroying the hope that we are building
I don't wanna stay here, can't take it anymore
Don't wanna die waiting for the Grey race
This perfect class of harmony, racism free
How long can my discontentment last?
This is what I've learned so far
Everything is grey
Few things are forever
and it hurts when good things fade
you can't be my everything
And I am not half you
but you can make it all worth while
and that's why I love you...
When you look at me, am I incomplete
am I missing something everybody else can clearly see
when you look at me...
I have tasted happiness
The innocence of joy
do we pay a price for every moment we enjoy
I could make you promises
But even I can't say if everything I feel for you
will never go away
When you look at me, am I incomplete
am I missing something everybody else can clearly see
when you look at me...
Will you be my everything, maybe just this time
we can really think that I am yours
and you are mine
I'm here
It's what you want
Dreaming
Only to save me
Hear you
Strong what you say
Feeling sorrow and pain now
For your silence
Sadness
They get you vile and stronger
You're laughing for tears I give you
How could I know
I am the game you are playing
When all that you can
Is abuse me like that
So be it, take me along
Just a body, no feelings
But I fall easily
Now I know what you want
Just let me stay here
No words
Simple
And pure
Not in
Your way
Now I can play
Take me now, for what I am
Just a game you like to play
If it's the way it has to be
Then let's be on our way
Don't use mw to run away
The chaos of your mind
Don't use me to fill up
The grey loneliness
Cause I cannot stay here
When hearing your lies
I cry...again
I can feel
Use me for waiting
I'll stay here
To see your pain
Regain my soul
And leave you
Take all I am
Leaving no more
At your mere disposal
Grey is the feeling, grey is my view of society
Grey is the tension, grey is the face - face of disgrace
Grey is the building, grey is the room in which I live
Grey is my life, grey is the colour of hopelessness
All is grey - pictures, shapes
All is grey - views and smells
All is grey - nights and days
All is grey - you and me
Grey is the present, grey is the future - future unborn
Grey is the reason, grey is why I stay up late
Grey is the moment, grey is every hour in my life
Down in the city lights of God,
No more the circle turns to break,
And in our moral lies we yearn to relate...
For all the beauty that you're not,
And all the plans you never made,
In our bleak decay pretend to elate...
One by one,
Escape the dead...
One day, one day
Our souls will leave the grey!
One day, one day
The everlasting gray!
One day, one day...
We always fear the downfall,
While we are sinking down in shame,
And we await our chance to fear and remain...
We are the watchers of our fall,
We wait for trains that never leave,
And in our robot minds we yearn to believe...
One by one,
Escape the dead,
Your tragedy is God...
Lay your head,
Down in plastic water.
Lay your head,
Words as fake as life can be...
Words as grey as misery...
Driving in my car, listen to the rain
See some pigs fly by, nothing in my brain
Scratch some thoughts on paper, couldnt be harder
I guess I should have stayed home never left my bed
..today
You see this world is my world
Cant make me run and hide away
The chip on your shoulder
Seems to have fallen my way
What I'm trying to say is 'pick it up put in and take it
away'
Close the curtains dot wanna go outside
Gray skies gray people gray streets to the gray wide open
i'll ride
Scratch my thoughts on paper, couldn't be harder
I guess I should have stayed home never left my
bed..today
This world is my world
Cant make me wanna hide away
The chip on your shoulder seems to have fallen my way
What I'm trying to say is;;;pick it up put it in and take
I saw grey, yeah laying on a street, crying lone inside
I saw grey was you, you said just thank you sir
I saw grey, yeah laying on a street, crying lone inside
I saw grey was you, you said just thank you sir
I know this is my fault I didn't know you
sorry.
I know this is my fault I didn't know you
sorry.
I saw grey, yeah laying on a street, crying lone inside
I saw grey was you, you said just thank you sir
I know this is my fault I didn't know you
sorry.
THE YEARNING
I've drawn near the night,
Though my sight was soaring
There is less of me every dawn,
You won't find me,
The oceans yearn for my flight.
I glimpsed the farthest way
Clear through a paling grey
In my dreams.
Drowsy, following the dusk
Brief, frail, slight
I'm fainting
Will you wait until I'm back?
And as the rains passed through
The boundaries of the night,
A presage told through ancient voices
"Behind was the unlit outspread land"
UNLIT LAND
It wasn't really dark but I was confused,
It wasn't really far, but I was unseen,
There were stars as much as there were nights
And deeper seas.
Wisdom may find thoughts,
Thoughts may reach truth
But a thought can't hug you warm
"Cease to be"
Where light and its eternal pause
Was it going to remain?
Was it feigning loss?
So brief,
Was no longer there when I stared
"Lone me"
A grey sign has soared
Shattered the early forms
A shadow muttered low
"Never be"
Deep in the night
I hid the footprints left on my way
There's no one to mind my absence
No one to deny me
I saw them gather, hide from nightfall
Searching another's world light
I dreamed of somewhere
No one's ever dreamed of
Covered faces can't even see
What's there still inside them
Don't let the light get in my room
My dreams are all divided
My dreams are still divided
PATH OF GLEAMS
And as the days
Became a grayish way of light,
And all the memories were night gleams
A loss of feeling
Ending in contempt
I feel like I am letting go of everything
Friendships ending
Always in betrayal
You never gave us the benefit of the doubt
I saw you change throughout the years
I saw things begin to fall apart
Fuck your power games
Nothing gold can stay like this
forever it's faded grey
Rusted like the dreams you hold so close
Was it ever even true or was it all
just a lie, you're a
Every seed that you have planted
Will show thorns soon
Will do the harm
Every light in your life
That you have snuff out
All that is gone forever
Unreal like dreams...
It sems that all we have left
Are memories of yesterday
So go further down
Show that you are nobody
Hope with childhood times
Drift away
This photograph
that you have brought me
is fearful, grey
and it's a color of dying
This miserable, old picture
Reminds me hope
Grey's my favorite color
Black and white has never been my thing
I'll take my drink lukewarm now
Hot and cold is not the thing for me
Absolutes are hidden
I've buried my convictions
I cannot be blind no more
Numb to what I'm living for
Help me stop this compromise that justifies these lies
I need Your passion in this life
I don't want to impose
Who really needs to know what I believe
Cause no one likes rockin' boats
And who would care to see the way I see
So give me the fire, yeah
God give me Your fire
